Great with all animals
I am comfortable with all animals, big and small. If you have one of those breeds that gets a bad rap (Pitbull, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Belgian Malinois, etc) I am the dog walker for you. Your pet will be in good hands with me. I have had pets all my life. I have had dogs since I was a child, we had our first cat 10 years ago. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs right now. In the past, I have had Cockatiels, Chinchillas, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and an iguana. I love all animals. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter where I went through their training program and subsequently helped care for their dogs: walking, feeding and cleaning the kennels. I am a young grandfather, and retired from an IT position of over 25 years. I am excited about spending time with your pets.

At this time, I am not interested in house sitting. I am experienced in walking, feeding, and providing medication to my own pets. I have had both very young and very old pets. When we meet, I will want to understand the needs of your family members and you can trust I will take care of them as if they were my own.

Rich is exceptional! He walked my golden retriever, Hudson for over a year and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He’s incredibly reliable, responsive, and genuinely caring - Hudson absolutely adored him. Rich brings a warm, positive energy on every walk, and you can tell he truly loves dogs. I’ve recommended Rich to multiple neighbors, several of whom now use him regularly - that says everything. We had to move otherwise, he would be our forever dog walker!

Rich walker our dog during the holidays. He followed the instructions and schedule and he was very responsible. He was able to come on time on Christmas Eve after he had dinner with his family. He didn’t forget about our dog when one of his family member went to ER. He communicated it well and we adjusted the schedule so that it worked for both of us. I would highly recommend Rich if you are looking for a dog sitter.

Schedule
Most weekends are wide open. I am available during lunch hours and after 4:00 pm right now, and come April I will be open any time.
Prices include all fees.
