About: I grew up with many pets and regularly walk my own dogs. I have also had experience taking care of a dog with no bladder control, constant urinary tract infections, and the need to be manually expressed. I am very comfortable taking care of both big and small dogs. I not only have experience with dogs but have also housesitted for a household with five cats. I’m currently attending University of California, Irvine while also working in a research lab, so I’m used to balancing a structured schedule and staying organized. “Javier was amazing with Cooper! He followed directions perfectly and was incredibly patient. Cooper is a Golden Retriever and can be quite stubborn especially as he’s nearing 10 and struggles with stairs and even leaving the house sometimes but Javier handled him with so much care and understanding. He kept me updated, called when needed, and sent photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Cooper clearly loves Javier, and that says everything. I am a college student (going into medical field) and a part time swim instructor, so I connect with kiddos as well! Christy was wonderful with my four cats! They are not used to being sat and some of them have particularly medical needs, but she was able to make sure they got their meds and some love while we were gone. I will definitely be asking her next time I need a sitter.
