About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! While I normally don’t have a preference between the two, I am currently pregnant with my first so I’m only really able to physically handle small/medium dogs for the time being. As a pet mom myself, pet care is a daily routine for me! I am a stay at home wife (soon to be mom) and spend most of my days spoiling my dog and cat! I’m new to the area so I don’t really have much that gets me out of the house and I absolutely love being around animals so I figured why not try to fill my time by helping other pet parents out who may not have as much time on their hands as I do! I’m very flexible with scheduling and last minute bookings so never hesitate to reach out! During my time working in the PetSmart grooming salon, I became very used to nervous and anxious dogs as grooming time can be very stressful for pets! I’d say I’m pretty good at recognizing anxious behavior and doing my best at making pups more comfortable! I also understand how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone with your pet - especially someone new! I have had an experience in the past that left me traumatized when it comes to leaving my pets in someone else’s care. So I too understand that overwhelming need to check in on your baby and make sure everything is going well! I promise you, as someone who has been on the other end, I am always welcoming to multiple check in texts, long lists, picture requests, and the need for as many details as possible! I’m someone who likes to feel sure in what they’re doing so if I have any questions or concerns- they will be brought up immediately. I never like to assume because there’s always a chance I could be wrong, so I like to get all the details!

She formed a nice bond with her, and was extremely reliable and always communicated and verified the drop-ins, as they changed every week over our 10 week period. Irene takes great pictures and provides excellent reports. She does not hesitate to reach out if she has a question or concern during her drop ins. We are looking forward to having Irene visit our girl again.”

About: Hi there! My name is Emma! I started out with just walking my cousin's dog for fun 3 years ago. I then dog sat for a friend while she was out of town for a month. Few months later, my family got ourselves a dog! I'm currently working part-time and preparing my applications for graduate school, so I'll have plenty of time to walk your pups! About: I’ve either owned or lived with a pet almost my entire life! I’ve also been a pet sitter for friends and family for around a decade. I’ve had multiple family dogs and I’ve dog sat extensively too. A variety of sizes, breeds, and ages. I’ve cared for senior dogs with special needs and administering pills before too. I work full time but am only in office Tuesdays and Thursdays in Huntington Beach. I am only available to check in on pets before 8:30am and after 5pm for those days. Otherwise, I work from home and have much more flexibility for check-ins on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I don’t work on the weekends so I am open then as well. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets in their own home and for walks! I make sure to complete each necessary step for their care and ask questions to pet parents if necessary. I pay attention to doors not being left open (we wouldn’t want any escapees!) and I am sure to lock the door when leaving.

I am currently working part-time so I operate on a fairly flexible schedule where I will have plenty of time to watch your pet. I will be scheduling doggy daycare and services around the days I am off work from my other job. I also live with my husband who is also a dog-lover who works remotely 2 days out of the week, you can trust that there will be an extra pair of eyes that can help watch your pet. I live in a clean condo with wooden floors. I also have a fenced back patio. If your dog ever needs a potty or a bathroom break, they can easily go in this outside patio area.
