“Greta is what you'd expect from a good, reliable, dog sitter: great with pets, good communication, offered a meet and greet which went well, competitive rate, available during a very rainy holiday week, walked Astra in the rain, dealt with an unexpected ant problem in Astra's food then made sure Astra ate or if Astra skipped a meal Greta made sure to put the food back in a container so the ants can't get to it, oh and cleaned up after Astra tore up a few things. My dog was weirdly naughty that week, it was a rainy week, and I haven't seen ants since I got back which was very nice. I think it was a very difficult and busy week for Greta but she handled everything like a pro! Would rebook and recommend! Thanks Greta!”

About: The last 5 years I have been taking care of all variety’s of dogs! Young and old to small and large! I love keeping the pets engaged and give them the best experience away from their normal routines. I work part time 5 days a week so I have a variety of time available for doggy care. About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! While I normally don’t have a preference between the two, I am currently pregnant with my first so I’m only really able to physically handle small/medium dogs for the time being. As a pet mom myself, pet care is a daily routine for me! I am a stay at home wife (soon to be mom) and spend most of my days spoiling my dog and cat! I’m new to the area so I don’t really have much that gets me out of the house and I absolutely love being around animals so I figured why not try to fill my time by helping other pet parents out who may not have as much time on their hands as I do! I’m very flexible with scheduling and last minute bookings so never hesitate to reach out! During my time working in the PetSmart grooming salon, I became very used to nervous and anxious dogs as grooming time can be very stressful for pets! I’d say I’m pretty good at recognizing anxious behavior and doing my best at making pups more comfortable! I also understand how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone with your pet - especially someone new! I have had an experience in the past that left me traumatized when it comes to leaving my pets in someone else’s care. So I too understand that overwhelming need to check in on your baby and make sure everything is going well! I promise you, as someone who has been on the other end, I am always welcoming to multiple check in texts, long lists, picture requests, and the need for as many details as possible! I’m someone who likes to feel sure in what they’re doing so if I have any questions or concerns- they will be brought up immediately. I never like to assume because there’s always a chance I could be wrong, so I like to get all the details!
