I have a certification as a Veterinarian Assistant as well as over two years of work experience. This means I am certified with injections, CPR, and medical application. Previously, I worked as an on-site Veterinarian Assistant/Manager (as well as animal caretaker) at a Doggie Daycare for over two years. I am very experienced with dog behavior, especially in groups. And I volunteer biweekly at a Cat shelter (Although, I use to volunteer several times a week) - plus I have 5 (a colony) of my own at home. Cats are my preference but dogs are my life’s work. I have many years of volunteer service as a caretaker at numerous animal shelters and internships at Vet clinics. I have two dogs of my own (a pitbull and a chihuahua) and five bonded cats. I have never gone more than a week without being a full-time pet owner. Animals are and have always been my passion in caring for. I have Pet sit consistently since I was 12 years old and got my certification as a Vet Assistant as soon as I was qualified. I have plenty of experience in every type of pet regardless of age, health, or behavior.

I am equipped in standard animal health and can easily provide any medications, including insulin injections. I own a house of my own and prefer to keep everything tidy and would not dream of treating any other space I’m in differently. I am active and healthy and can provide all forms of exercise and play for your pets. I also am very used to specific instructions for specific animals and their owners and getting it down to the detail. I also am familiar with reactive animals, as well as aggressive animals and am comfortable providing care for them under the proper precautions and direction from their humans.

Chelsie always comes through for us!! We never have to worry about our cats, especially our very old one who needs lots of attention and medical help when we are gone! She is the best!
Chelsie is so reliable and once again was able to help us out last minute. She spends lots of extra time with our cats giving them love. We appreciate her so much and it's so great that she is trained in how to do some medical things our cat needs as well.
Chelsie did an amazing job with our sweet cat who is near end of life! She was able to take the job at the last minute because we were going away overnight to celebrate my kids' birthdays. Chelsie is trained in giving medicines to cats and administering a water bag with a needle. Our cat has kidney disease so she needs this daily. It was so comforting to leave and know that someone else was able to give our cat her medicine. Chelsie stayed extra long at her visits just to make sure our Kitty got what she needed and extra love❤️ We would highly recommend Chelsie and will have her help again the next time we are gone.

Schedule
I am a full-time employee (8:30AM-5:30PM M-F). I am always available for drop-ins but will adjust the timing to fit my schedule, especially if your animal requires timely medication.

- Let me know medication and behavioral precautions. It is imperative to know how reactive your dog may be for the safety of them and myself. I have experience with reactive and aggressive animals and prioritize fear-free methods and positive correction. I promise I’m very patient, not even my pitbulls can out-stubborn me! If you are working with a trainer, please relay specific instruction and guidance so I can provide your animal with the communication they understand.
