About: Besides growing up with with dogs my whole life, I'm an aspiring physician applying to medical school. I have experience adapting and reacting to stressful situations. Very flexible, can work overnights and weekends! No problem with early mornings or late nights. Just looking for some extra cash while applying to medical school. About: I have experience with many different breeds of dogs as well as different species of animals other than dogs and cats. I have walked/watched great danes, pit bulls, labradors, and mixed breeds to name a few. As for the other species I have taken care of/owned I feel comfortable with reptiles, birds, small animals, fish, and spiders. I am always open to learning about and caring for different species of animals and breeds if dogs or cat! I have the summer off from college so I have a bunch of free time I hope to fill with caring for dogs and other animals! For the animals in my hone and past pets my big rule is respect. If the animal is experiencing a strong emotion or needs something I will always respect it. Animals have their bad days too! As for caring for pets on this app, that basic respect rule will still apply. I always make sure to not only respect your animal but also your home.
About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! About: I’ve been a pet sitter for two years but have owned dogs for my whole life. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from playful pups to sweet seniors as well as reactive dogs. About: I’ve had cats and dogs for most of my life. I currently have a 4 year old dog. Prior to him I had another dog that I had for 10 years and she passed away at 15 years old. She is super nice and accommodating, even when I needed to add a last minute day to her visiting schedule. 💖
This is the second time Elicia has taken care of our 17 year old, and I hope she never retires! She is someone I can trust completely; we were on a cruise so we didn't have service a lot of the time and knowing she was in charge back home made it so much easier to relax and enjoy myself, because I didn't have to worry!
Maddie did a great job taking care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation for nearly two months! My cats are very shy but Maddie made exceptional efforts to look for them and make friends with them.
