About: I help take care of two family dogs at home, one of which is a stray. Both dogs came in without potty training and walking experience, but now they know when to signal to go and follow my pace when I walk. I’m not strict in where they choose to explore but will know when to reel them in. I’m currently home from college and am looking for a job/internship. As it stands I’m pretty flexible, but if anything changes I won’t hesitate to notify you! I keep appliances and items away from my dogs’ reach, but allow them anywhere in the house. I do keep certain rooms off limits to avoid shedding/smell, and feed them 1-2 on a daily basis.

About: My 16-year-old Pomchi bestie, Stella, is a testament to my care. I have been feeding, bathing, and loving her since I was 17 years old, and she is still doing great in her senior years. I am also a masters-level clinician in behavior health as a behavior analyst (BCBA). Because of this, not only am I well-versed in behavior change, positive reinforcement, and navigating challenging behaviors, but I've also had the honor of working with families of diverse backgrounds, including neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ families :) I'm taking some time off from my usual work as I wait for my out-of-state licensing to process for a fully remote position. About: I have experience with many different breeds of dogs as well as different species of animals other than dogs and cats. I have walked/watched great danes, pit bulls, labradors, and mixed breeds to name a few. As for the other species I have taken care of/owned I feel comfortable with reptiles, birds, small animals, fish, and spiders. I am always open to learning about and caring for different species of animals and breeds if dogs or cat! I have the summer off from college so I have a bunch of free time I hope to fill with caring for dogs and other animals! For the animals in my hone and past pets my big rule is respect. If the animal is experiencing a strong emotion or needs something I will always respect it. Animals have their bad days too!
