“JK did a great job with Coco. She sent multiple videos and pictures throughout the day. She also was very confident keeping Coco well behaved. No complaints at all. We would definitely use her again.”

“Oscar was an amazing, responsible dog sitter to my two dogs. We met prior to the dates so they would be more comfortable with him. During their stay with him, we were in constant contact, so I knew they were in good hands. He was sending videos, pics, and texts to let me know how they were doing. They had plenty of walks and play time. When I picked them up, Oscar described my dogs' personalities and behavior like he knew them for years. He was so attentive and caring to them. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. I will definitely be reaching out to him the next time I need a sitter!”

“This was my first time using the Rover App and we paired with Ohla. She was the best person to take care of my anxious dog. She kept me updated with pictures and videos. I will definitely choose her next time.”

“SaeWon was incredible and the whole experience was smooth and easy. She was able to accommodate on short notice after our initial sitter plans fell through, and I was super grateful for that. Initially I was worried about Soleil staying with other dogs, but to our surprise, she got along great with the other dogs and it seems like she had a great time. She also sent us pictures and videos of them on walks and it was the cutest thing. I will definitely let her watch my dog in the future and would highly recommend it to others, it was fantastic.”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding Chester here! A big thank you to you all for taking such great care and for sending us daily updates with pictures—it really gave us peace of mind while we were away. The communication was excellent, with timely responses to all our messages. We could tell our Chester was happy and well looked after. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“Once again had an amazing experience with Bennie & Jennie. Received lots of photo and text updates so we knew how both of our cats were doing during our short weekend trip. Even with one of our cats taking a while to get comfortable being away from us, we knew they were both well taken care of during their stay.”

“We’re very happy with the care she provided for our dog. She is experienced, caring, and truly understands dogs’ needs and personalities. During the stay, our dog was healthy, happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and pays attention to details. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.”

“Mickey continues to do an amazing job watching our dog. He comes back in great spirits and slides back into his home routines without missing a beat. I highly recommend Mickey for your dog caring needs.”

“Thank you soooo much for watching Cilu Atticus.. he absolutely loved you all.. we will definitely look forward to meet you again and Cilu is looking forward too.. such a great family and the adorable pictures that you sent us along with timely updates meant a lot to us. Have a wonderful weekend!!!”

“Cie is a no-nonsense Super Nanny ⭐️ to my boy Frenchies, Patch & Rocky. They stayed with Cie for 5 nights. She took the boys on multiple walks throughout the day and let them hang out at the pool cabana!! She was very attentive to them and tried to manage their stress level on their first day. We received photos and video updates every day. They made friends, went on squirrel watch, got plenty of exercises, and most importantly, I think they were VERY well taken care of. They even got a Report Card for their stay. 😂 I think Cie Is a true dog lover and genuinely cares for the pets in her care. My frenchies came back happier than when I left them, and this is how I know they had a great time at Cie’s.”

“2nd stay for the pup w/ Allison, and it was even better than the last! She sent consistent photos & updates - we were surprised (& happy) to hear that Zen also got along w/ her cat, Kenya! ☺️ Allison will definitely be a go-to sitter in the future!”

“Rebecca did an excellent job caring for our sweet dog while we were out of the country. She is patient, organized, and super communicative. She very clearly loves dogs and is an amazing caretaker. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Elaine and her whole family have been so kind and caring with my senior dog Billy. I wish I could give 6 stars. She is so thoughtful and Kind. Elaine kept me posted with photos and videos of my dog, which made me feel at ease to actually enjoy my trip. Elaine administered all the eye medications Billy needed and carefully monitored him as he had recently had surgery. Thanks so much, Elaine. Hope to see you again soon!”

“Katie continues to be the best dog sitter for our Tilly Girl. She’s always so caring in understanding Tilly’s routine, sends the cutest photos as updates, and make sure Tilly is as comfortable as possible while we’re gone. I can’t recommend Katie enough.”

“Mike and Kay were great sitters. We had an overnight trip and felt like our little girl was in good hands. They communicated very well on drop off and pick up, etc. and gave us a nice update and photo. They had a very comfortable environment for our dog. She seemed sad to leave Mike and Kay the next day. Will definitely contact them for future needs.”

“Thavery was amazing with Ted, our labradoodle and took him on many walks and cared for him very well. I am very appreciative of all the pictures she sent over while I was away.”

“Bailey was amazing! She was so communicative and took excellent care of both Spidey and my home. I just moved, so Spidey was a little nervous, but he came out of his shell quickly for Bailey! She gave great, detailed updates, and I felt so relaxed on vacation knowing that Spidey was in good hands. I can't wait to have Bailey back for my next vacation :)”

“We had a wonderful experience with Erin! She went above and beyond to take care of our two cats. Not only did she spend extra time playing with them, but she also kept us updated with detailed messages and pictures, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cares for animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“We went on a holy 4 month trip overseas and thanks to Robert who helped us out! We had Robert drop in every 5 days to make sure the feeder and toilet function well and gave the cats can food and treats. Robert never missed a single appointment and the communication was easy and timely. Both of my cats are shy and typically don't get along with people, but they definitely like Robert and even allow him to pet them!!! (Apparently it was the can food and treats that did all the magic lol) Robert will be our go-to guy next time when we need someone to babysit our cats and I highly recommend him.”

“Zi took great care of my cat while I was away! She was super friendly with communication and flexible with my plans. She sent descriptive rover cards and lots of pictures. She goes above and beyond for multi-day care, making sure that my home is in good shape too. She will be my go-to for all future bookings. Thanks Zi!”
“We were SO glad we found Erica to watch our pets while we were away. During the meet and greet we knew she would be perfect - her calm, kind, and loving demeanor was perfect for our pets. She sent pictures and updates every day, and went above and beyond to make sure our home and everything in it was well taken care of. We will definitely book her again in the future, and would recommend her to anyone searching for a pet sitter.”
About: I have trained and taken care of pets since I was a child. I grew up caring for cats and dogs. Since I have been an adult I have always trained and owned pets as well. In our family now I live with my two teen daughters, our 1 cat, and 2 small dogs. My eldest teen has worked for No Stray Left Behind for the last years and we have fostered various disabled dogs over that time period. I am currently fostering a BLIND 17 year-old Pomeranian, that requires special care. I would be the primary care-taker but my two dog-loving teen daughters would love to love on the dogs as well. The last dog I fostered had a crooked neck and shed a lot, the dog before that only had three legs, so I am very experienced with all sorts of needs and dogs. I also work from home, so it's easy for me to take them out. I currently work full-time from home, so short walks frequently throughout the day are easy. I am a very active person, so I am often at a park or beach or hiking. If the dog is permitted and capable I would love to take them along or even to the dog park. I also live across the street from a park. I do live in a 2 bedroom apt with no yard but as mentioned I have easy access to a park and work from home. There is a park literally 200 feet from across the street.

“I hired Cindy for 2 drop-in visits for my 2 dogs: a 14 y.o. & a 2 y.o. lab mix, both of whom are edgy around strangers. Cindy was on-time with all visits (including a meet-and-greet prior), communicated clearly in person and by text, and followed the instructions. She also provided pictures & brief updates at each check-in. Despite my senior dog being a cranky, old fart around strangers, Cindy improvised well when Ms. Crankypants barked at her and wouldn't cooperate about eating in her designated area, ensuring that the dogs remained safely separated during feeds. Cindy also scooped the poop, so I didn't have to when I got home. I recommend Cindy and plan to call on her again myself.”

“Ya-Chu was great! We needed a last minute drop in visit for our dog Scout and she was very communicative as well as sent photos throughout the visit. Communication all together was great! We would love to have them look after our animals again in the future.”

About: I have experience with many different breeds of dogs as well as different species of animals other than dogs and cats. I have walked/watched great danes, pit bulls, labradors, and mixed breeds to name a few. As for the other species I have taken care of/owned I feel comfortable with reptiles, birds, small animals, fish, and spiders. I am always open to learning about and caring for different species of animals and breeds if dogs or cat! I have the summer off from college so I have a bunch of free time I hope to fill with caring for dogs and other animals! For the animals in my hone and past pets my big rule is respect. If the animal is experiencing a strong emotion or needs something I will always respect it. Animals have their bad days too! As for caring for pets on this app, that basic respect rule will still apply. I always make sure to not only respect your animal but also your home.

“Regi was super attentive to my fur babies and always communicated with me! She has true passion and love for pets and cares for them like her own. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.”

“Victoria is a rock solid sitter who you can rely on 100% she went beyond the call to help during my trip and I was able to rest assured my kitties were well cared for even as life's little emergencies pull us in all directions.”

About: My 16-year-old Pomchi bestie, Stella, is a testament to my care. I have been feeding, bathing, and loving her since I was 17 years old, and she is still doing great in her senior years. I am also a masters-level clinician in behavior health as a behavior analyst (BCBA). Because of this, not only am I well-versed in behavior change, positive reinforcement, and navigating challenging behaviors, but I've also had the honor of working with families of diverse backgrounds, including neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ families :) I'm taking some time off from my usual work as I wait for my out-of-state licensing to process for a fully remote position. This means that I have lots of free time this summer. Help me get out of the house before playing Fortnite for 8+ hours a day rots my brain!!! I like to provide as much or as little communication as what would make you feel comfortable. Want pictures, a text update, and a video call while I'm visiting your pet? That sounds great! Prefer that I keep your phone notifications to a minimum? That works too!

“Eunice was great! She showed up on time and updated me after each visit with pictures and a summary. She was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Forest and Flower loved her! Thank you!”

“Jasmine was great she gave me alot of updates on my baby. Send me pictures and videos , also told me if my cat was eating or not. Would defintly have her watch my baby again in the future.”

“Genevieve was excellent! She did an amazing job watching our two kitties while we were away. She sent tons of photos and was very quick to respond if we had any questions. Both of my cats warmed up to her very quickly and she even sent extra photos because we were missing them. I could not recommend her enough. ❤️”

“We booked with Yichen to take care of our cat while we were away for two weeks, and she was absolutely fantastic! Our cat is usually very shy and was initially afraid of new people, but Yichen was so patient and kind. By the end of the visits, our cat was actually looking forward to seeing her and saying hello. We'll definitely be booking with her again”

“So great! It was a last minute booking, within the hour, on a Sunday and Twinkle replied quickly. She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures, which I didn’t expect, so that was so nice and comforting. Everything went smooth, and I will definitely be booking with her again. Communication was A+ .. actually A+ all around. I can’t think of anything I could ask her to improve on. Huskies are notoriously known to be difficult, but Twinkle is a pro!”

“Kun, “JK”, took great care of our energetic yellow Labrador, Lucy. We first arranged for a Meet and Greet to ensure that Lucy and JK got along well and they hit it off the second we got out of the car! JK asked to take the leash from me so that she could take control of Lucy on a short walk around the block. JK was very thorough and asked good questions about how Lucy would react if encountering other dogs or kids in public and also wanted to know if she had any other particular needs. I felt much more comfortable leaving Lucy with JK for daycare knowing that she would do her best to care for our girl as well as we would at home. JK took many pictures and videos throughout the day to provide periodic updates and was super responsive to any messages, too. I highly recommend her services.”

“I have consistently had great experiences with Avancon!. From the very beginning, they made our puppy feel safe, comfortable and completely at home. Our pup can be a little shy and unsure around new people and dogs, but their patience and kindness truly made all the difference. What impressed us most was how they helped our pup gradually get used to playing with other dogs. They were thoughtful about introductions and made sure every interaction was positive and stress-free. My puppy is not only more confident but actually super excited to get there and socialize! He literally jumps out of my arms to get into their house lol We receive updates, photos, and messages, which gives us so much peace of mind. It is clear that he is being well cared for. We couldn't have asked for a more attentive, responsible, and compassionate sitter. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and help them grow socially and emotionally, this is the place. We are beyond grateful and will continue to be clients.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities — from energetic puppies who need playtime and structure, to senior pets who deserve gentle patience and extra care. I understand that every pet has their own routine and comfort zone, so I always take the time to learn their quirks, signals, and favorite things. Whether it’s early morning walks, medication reminders, or snuggle sessions on the couch, I treat every furry friend like my own. Safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. What sets me apart is my attentive communication and genuine love for animals — I send regular photo updates, follow owner instructions carefully, and make sure each pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. If your pet needs special care (puppy training, senior support, or daily medication), I have hands-on experience and will ensure they get personalized attention. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day — whether it’s quick potty breaks, playtime in the yard, or cozy naps together. Evenings are for longer walks, cuddles, and winding down before bedtime. On weekends, I love taking dogs on local trail walks or to pet-friendly parks for some extra fun and stimulation. Every day, I make sure your pet feels cared for, safe, and loved — just like they would at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in my home, I maintain a calm, pet-friendly environment with secure spaces for play and rest. I keep food, cleaning supplies, and other items safely out of reach, and ensure constant supervision during playtime or outdoor breaks. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I always respect your space and follow your instructions carefully — from feeding routines and walking routes to any special care details. I take extra steps to keep doors and gates secure, and I never bring unfamiliar pets without your approval. Cleanliness, consistency, and clear communication are key. You’ll always receive photo or video updates so you know your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is to make every stay or visit feel safe, familiar, and full of love — just like home.
“Hannah and Dabin are very consistent with sending photos of Maggie throughout the day, and updating what she does. I felt very safe letting the couple take care of Maggie. Definitely will come back.”

“He proactively asked to meet before the walk to meet my dog Lucy and I, and to see where things in the house would be kept such as the leash, dog bags, etc. He wrote personalized summaries of their walks, filled the water bowl and left the light on as asked. Excellent dog walker with a lot of dog experience pre-dating Rover.”

About: I have been a dog owner for many years, as a child i have always had pets. I have an affinity with taking care of many types of animals, but especially dogs. I have my own maltipoo. Her name is Coco. I adopted her when she was only a little puppy. So i am very adept at taking care of puppies as well. I know how needy they can be, but that almost makes me love them even more. Knowing an animal needs you, makes you want to make sure they have everything they need. I adopted a Kitten as well, which has been a bundle of joy. I had no idea how sweet and cuddly cats could be. Im very happy my cat has changed my mind about cats. Right now i am currently not working, so dog/cat sitting for me seemed like a great idea for me in every way. I am currently not working so my schedule is usually free during the day. Feel free to message me and i am sure i can accommodate to your hours. As a pet owner i love being around all type of animals and am very patient. Your pet will always be safe and happy around me.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs starting at age 8 and later cared for eight cats along with two dogs of my own for over five years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also spent years pet sitting for families and neighbors, so I understand how important it is to be reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I’m patient with both high energy pets and more independent or shy ones, and I’m confident handling multiple pets at once. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals combined with real, hands on experience across both dogs and cats; and I don’t just watch pets, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I am currently a recent graduate, prepping for my board exam and looking for jobs so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur-baby! I am available to drop by and walk dogs Monday - Saturday, and our apartment is open for boarding any day of the week! I live in an apartment with plenty of grass area for dogs to go potty, as well as many parks nearby to take them on long walks. We currently have two cats at home to keep your baby company with many cat toys and cat tower for others to play in. If your fur-baby doesn't get along with other animals, we are willing to accommodate by keeping them separate!
About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and pets of all kinds. I rescued my dog, Clayton, 14 years ago, and he recently passed away in February 2026 at the incredible age of 15. Through that journey, I gained firsthand experience caring for a pet through every stage of life, from the energetic younger years to the extra patience and attention senior pets need. I understand the patience, consistency, and love animals deserve, and I’ll care for your pet as if they were part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, administering routines, or simply providing companionship, your pet will be in caring and reliable hands. Living in an apartment has given me a strong understanding of the importance of regular potty breaks, exercise, and maintaining a consistent routine for dogs. Before leaving the house, I always make sure dogs get at least two potty breaks, followed by no fewer than three additional outings once I return home. Pets in my care are treated like family and are welcome to relax comfortably throughout my apartment, including on the couch and bed. I also enjoy taking long walks around my neighborhood and would love to bring your furry friend along for fresh air, exercise, and extra attention throughout the day. During the week, I split my time between two office locations — one in Anaheim near Honda Center and the other in Corona del Mar near Fashion Island. My typical schedule has me away from home from about 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while Fridays are fully remote and offer much more flexibility. If your pet has specific needs, routines, or requires additional attention, please let me know. I’m happy to coordinate flexibility within my work schedule whenever possible to ensure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is that I combine responsibility with genuine attentiveness to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I don’t just “watch” dogs — I actively engage with them to make sure they feel safe, stimulated, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. With puppies, I pay great attention to how they feel and I’m very patient at caring for them. With senior dogs, I’m patient and attentive to mobility needs, medication schedules, slower walking pace, and comfort routines. I pay close attention to subtle behavior changes that may indicate discomfort. I’m also detail-oriented when it comes to feeding instructions, allergies, and household rules. Clean water, safe environments, and secure walks are always my priority. I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, affection, and respect for their unique temperament. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I’m currently home most of the time. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, regular walks, and plenty of interaction throughout the day instead of leaving dogs alone for long periods. Since I have a flexible schedule, I can adapt to each dog’s needs — whether that means early morning walks, midday play sessions, feeding at specific times, or sticking closely to an established routine. Being home also allows me to monitor behavior closely and respond quickly if anything seems off. Because pet care would be a dedicated part of my day, I’m able to give dogs my full attention, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for rather than just accommodated. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment. I remove potential hazards, keep doors and gates secured, and ensure all food and small objects are out of reach. Dogs have a comfortable resting area, constant access to fresh water, and structured playtime. I supervise interactions at all times and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully — including feeding schedules, medication, walking routes, house rules, and preferred routines. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes to ensure security. I’m attentive to behavior changes and will immediately communicate any concerns. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured. I understand that trust is everything when someone leaves their pet in another person’s care. I treat every home respectfully and every pet as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and responsibility.
About: Hi, I’m youhua I’m someone who puts patience and care into every moment I spend with pets. For the past five years, I’ve often helped my friends look after their dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with their routines, habits, and body language — I can easily tell when they’re hungry, anxious, or just want some love and playtime. I always arrive on time for every service, make sure each walk is safe and enjoyable, provide fresh water and clean-ups, and send plenty of photo and video updates so you can feel at ease even when you’re away. I live in the Northwood community in Irvine, surrounded by several beautiful parks that are perfect for daily walks. I have a gentle personality and a calm energy that helps soothe nervous pets, and I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s schedule. I look forward to becoming a trusted temporary family member for you and your beloved furry friend. 🐾 I am usually at home. I go to the gym for an hour each time, and the rest of the time I am basically at home. I think I have a lot of time to take care of the dog. I have a fenced garden and I believe they will be safe in it. I also like to drink coffee in the sun in the garden, and I can play with them.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. My family has always enjoyed having pets in our family! I’ve fostered several dogs and cats within the past 5 years. I have an internship Monday-Wednesday 10-3pm but I have a lot of free time on my hands especially right now. I also would love to get outside more and hangout with your pups! I always will listen to what you need for your fur baby. I know they are the most important things in our lives so I want to make sure you and your fur baby are happy and comfortable.

“Joanna is such a caring dog mom. We are so happy that we’ve found her to take care of our pupper. She took time to get to know pupper’s schedule and send daily updates. She was a kind, caring and thoughtful caregiver for our little boy. 10/10, Joanna is our #1 pick whenever we need someone to look after him. ?”

“Yoo was a lifesaver when I had to rush overseas for a family emergency. For 4 nights and 5 days, my dog was treated with so much love. I felt even more reassured because Yoo shared photos of my dog regularly. Knowing my furry family member was safe allowed me to focus on my family situation. I will absolutely trust Yoo with my dog again. Truly grateful!!”
