About: I grew up with cats! I come from a line of cat lovers so I’ve always been comfortable with and prefer cats in some ways! I have a cat of my own who I rescued from the side of a busy freeway about a year and a half ago. My cat got diagnosed with FIC last September which causes him to have very painful bladder flare ups. I had to adjust to a new and delicate routine with him so I fully understand how sensitive cats can be! He requires prescription diet as well as medicine. A lot of people say cats are easier because they’re less maintenance which I totally disagree on! Cats may prefer less attention at times but they certainly need and deserve just as much care as any other pet!

About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! While I normally don’t have a preference between the two, I am currently pregnant with my first so I’m only really able to physically handle small/medium dogs for the time being. About: I have experience with many different breeds of dogs as well as different species of animals other than dogs and cats. I have walked/watched great danes, pit bulls, labradors, and mixed breeds to name a few. As for the other species I have taken care of/owned I feel comfortable with reptiles, birds, small animals, fish, and spiders. I am always open to learning about and caring for different species of animals and breeds if dogs or cat! I have the summer off from college so I have a bunch of free time I hope to fill with caring for dogs and other animals! For the animals in my hone and past pets my big rule is respect. If the animal is experiencing a strong emotion or needs something I will always respect it. Animals have their bad days too! As for caring for pets on this app, that basic respect rule will still apply. I always make sure to not only respect your animal but also your home.

Nala sleeps in a crate at night, but I am happy to accommodate your dog’s normal sleeping arrangements, whether that’s a crate, dog bed, or out in the open. We treat pets like family in our home, so dogs are welcome on the couch, bed, and in the spaces they’re used to enjoying if that aligns with your preferences and home rules. I am also happy to follow your dog’s specific care routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, sleep preferences, and any special instructions that help them feel comfortable and secure. I know being away from your pup can be hard, so I’m happy to send regular photo and update check-ins to help you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. To ensure personalized attention and a calm environment, I only host one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives lots of one-on-one love and care while staying with us. I do ask that dogs are comfortable around children and other dogs, and are reasonably house-trained and comfortable spending short periods indoors when needed. I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your furry family member in my care, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have before booking.
