Hi, I'm Laura and a loving fur mom to my rescue girl, Roxie. I'm skilled at dog CPR as well as administering both oral and IM drugs. I've had dogs nearly all my life and have plenty of experience with large (my previous dog was a Bernese Mountain Dog) as well as small dogs and cats. I've also fostered both large and small dogs over the past five years and done transports for shelters to fosters and rescues. I provide house sittings, walks, and drop in feedings and play time. I will ensure your dog(s) and/or cat(s) is/are always safe in my care and handled appropriately around other animals. I will make sure they're walked and get one on one play time, treats (as appropriate), and of course good 'ole love with belly rubs! I'll definitely send photos for you & make sure your animals have a great time while you're away. I prefer to watch your pet in your home as they're most comfortable in their own surroundings but once I've sat for you, I'd be happy to consider watching your baby/babies in my home if I feel it's a fit. If I pet sit for you in your home, I am responsible and clean and you will not know I've been there. I pick up and keep everything neat and tidy, and your home will be cleaner than when you left. Also, if you're not interested in someone staying at your home, my 'house sitting' rate would include at least 3 drop ins per day, and possibly 4 depending upon your location and my schedule; for playtime, walks, meals, medicine, etc. I'll also be happy to water plants, pick up mail, or anything else needed. If you're ever unable to find time on my Rover calendar, please reach out to me first. Many times, I'm able to squeeze in another house sitting, drop in, or walk depending upon your needs and requirements. I'm also happy to watch other pets, including any exotic or farm animals. I am very conscientious about pet safety and following the owner's instructions. I am VERY protective of any pets I'm taking care of and they are my main concern, just as if they were my own. I will ensure they are kept safe at all times.

Laura was great as always! One of our cats, who already requires an inhaler and an ointment, got an ear infection right before we were leaving for a week and Laura took care of all of her meds and increased her visits on short notice. It was a huge stress relief. We trust our cats are in good hands when Laura is watching!

Schedule
I started pet sitting through Rover in 2019 after being laid off from my job of over 19 years. I am now back to work but am still able to do house sittings, drop ins, and walks depending upon your pets' needs, location, and times. I prefer to have a phone conversation to discuss your pets' needs and make sure my schedule will work for you and your babies. My main concern is making sure that I'm supplying the best possible care. Once we speak, if you think I am a fit, I provide a complimentary meet and greet so I can meet you and your fur family and you can meet me to make sure you feel comfortable. Unless previously discussed, I don't accept bookings for new clients until a meet and greet has been completed.
