We care for cats using professional boarding standards paired with personalized, home-based care. For boarding: - Cats are placed in dedicated rooms or suites, based on temperament and comfort - All interactions and roaming are fully supervised - Rooms are deep-cleaned and reset between stays - Air purifiers, secure setups, and indoor-only environments are maintained at all times For drop-ins: - We follow instructions exactly as provided - We secure doors and windows, monitor behavior, and provide detailed visit updates Safety, cleanliness, and emotional comfort are always our top priorities. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Q: How do I know if my cat will be comfortable with boarding? A: Boarding is best for cats who are adaptable to new environments or enjoy being around people and other cats. Cats who are very territorial or highly anxious may be better suited for drop-in care. We’re always happy to help you decide what’s the best fit. Q: What is included in a drop-in visit? A: Drop-in visits include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime or companionship (based on your cat’s preferences), and detailed updates with photos. Q: Can I meet you before booking? A: Yes! We encourage meet-and-greets for new clients to ensure everyone is comfortable and expectations are clear. Meet-and-greets are complimentary and typically last up to 30 minutes. Q: Do you have experience with senior or special-needs cats? A: Yes. We have extensive experience caring for senior cats and cats with medical or special-care needs, including administering oral medication and providing extra monitoring. Q: How do you keep boarding cats healthy and safe? A: We maintain a clean, controlled, indoor-only environment and follow strict boarding requirements. All boarding cats must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations (including rabies), and on flea & tick prevention. Rooms are deep-cleaned between stays, and cats are monitored daily for comfort and health. Q: What safety measures do you have in place? A: We supervise all interactions, maintain secure doors and windows, and monitor cats closely throughout the day. Our home setup is designed specifically for cat safety, and we use cameras to help monitor boarding cats when needed. Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Please refer to Rover’s booking policies for full details. Q: How do you handle emergencies? A: In the event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately and seek prompt veterinary care. We are trained in pet CPR/first aid and have access to local veterinarians and emergency clinics. Q: What should I bring for my cat’s boarding stay? A: Please bring your cat’s food, care instructions, and any items that help them feel at home (blankets or toys). We provide litter, litter boxes, water fountains/bowls, purified water, and food bowls. You’re welcome to bring your own if your cat prefers specific items.

Pet care experience
🐾 Hi! We’re Jennie & Bennie! We’re a cat care team offering boutique cat boarding and cat-only drop-in visits in Irvine and surrounding Central Orange County cities. We’ve been providing professional cat care in the area for over 4 years, and cats are our full-time focus. We do not take dogs for boarding, which allows us to maintain a quieter, lower-stress environment and provide truly attentive, individualized care. Our experience spans thousands of cats, from confident social butterflies to shy, senior, or special-needs cats. In 2025 alone, we completed 2,700+ cat visits, giving us strong pattern recognition when it comes to routines, stress signals, and what helps cats settle in comfortably. For cat boarding - We operate with limited boarding capacity and are often near full, with many of our boarding cats being returning clients. This experience allows us to make thoughtful decisions about room placement, introductions, and daily care. Please read below for more details about our services :) 🐾 Cat Drop-In Visits We offer cat-only drop-in visits for clients who prefer their cats stay home. Drop-ins include: • Feeding & fresh water • Litter box care • Playtime or companionship (based on personality) • Medication or supplements if needed • Detailed updates with photos We are highly detail-oriented and follow instructions exactly as provided. 🏡 Boutique Cat Boarding (Home-Based) We board cats in our private home, which has been intentionally converted into a boutique cat boarding environment. Our setup includes: • Multiple dedicated cat rooms plus a private enclosed cat suite • Large, comfortable spaces (not small kennel-style rooms) • Cats placed intentionally based on temperament and comfort • Private rooms always available — no forced interaction Our setup allows us to board multiple cats without overcrowding and without sacrificing individual care. 🧼 Cleanliness & Safety Standards Our boarding operates with commercial-level standards, paired with personalized care. • Airbnb-style room-by-room deep cleaning after every stay • Professional cleaners come twice weekly and after room turnovers • Cat trees, surfaces, and shared items are cleaned and rotated regularly • Each room is fully reset before a new cat arrives 🌬️ Environment & Comfort • Excellent air circulation throughout the home • Air purifiers in every cat room • Each room includes a window with elevated viewing areas • Calm, odor-controlled environment 🚽 Litter & Feeding Setup • Each cat has its own litter setup • Traditional litter boxes and Litter-Robot (Whisker) units, used intentionally and safely • Litter box enclosures for cleanliness • High-quality litter provided (tofu litter and Arm & Hammer clumping litter) • Separate feeding areas to maintain routine 🐱 Cat Socialization & Introductions We primarily care for sociable or adaptable cats, while always maintaining private rooms for cats who prefer their own space. • Introductions are done slowly and intentionally • All roaming and interactions are fully supervised • Body language and stress levels are closely monitored • No cat is ever forced to socialize For compatible cats, many thrive in our environment and enjoy a calm, private cat café-style setting, while still having access to their own room for rest and retreat. Supervised free-roam is offered only when we’re confident it benefits the cat. 🏠 Our Resident Cats We share our home with three friendly, well-socialized resident cats who have been around other cats their entire lives. They help create a welcoming, calm environment for cats who enjoy companionship. Introductions are always handled thoughtfully and safely. ✅ Boarding Requirements For the safety and comfort of all cats in our care: • Cats must be spayed or neutered (exceptions can be made more kittens) • Up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies • On flea & tick prevention • Indoor-only cats 🕰️ Supervision & Daily Care Because this is our full-time focus, cats are rarely left alone for extended periods and receive frequent check-ins throughout the day. Boarding cats are integrated into our daily routines while maintaining their own space and structure. 🏠 House Sitting House sitting is available for returning clients only, as we currently maintain a full clientele base. 📅 Availability & Booking Timeline Due to high demand and limited capacity, availability can fill quickly, especially during major holidays. For new clients: • Holiday boarding often books 2–3 months in advance • Holiday drop-in visits typically book 3–4 weeks in advance Outside of major holidays, there may be more flexibility, depending on the schedule. Returning clients may have additional flexibility based on availability. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure dates. 💬 When You Reach Out When you contact us, you can expect: • Clear, timely communication • Thoughtful questions about your cat’s routine and personality • Honest recommendations about boarding vs. private room setups • Transparent expectations and care standards We aim to make both you and your cat feel comfortable and confident from the start. ✨ Thank you for reading! We look forward to meeting your kitties and providing the best care.

Reviews

Bennie and Jennie took wonderful care of our kitties, Whiskey, Bourbon, and Barley, along with our parrot, Zippo, during their first daycare stay! From the moment we met them, they were warm, friendly, and immediately made us feel comfortable. It was easy to see that they genuinely love animals and have a natural way with them. Their home was clean, welcoming, and felt like a safe and comfortable environment for our pets. Throughout the day they sent plenty of photos and updates, which we really appreciated. It was clear that everyone was getting lots of attention and care. Pickup was smooth and organized, and all of our furry and feathered family members seemed happy and relaxed when we arrived. As pet owners, it’s always nice to find sitters you can trust, and Bennie and Jennie definitely gave us that feeling. We are so grateful for the care they provided and would happily book with them again. Thank you, Bennie and Jennie, for taking such great care of Whiskey, Bourbon, Barley, and Zippo!

Bennie and Jennie went above and beyond in caring for my cat, Mochi. They provided detailed updates multiple times a day, were very responsive to any questions I had, and provided many photos and videos throughout Mochi's stay. They truly understand cats and know how to meet their needs both physically and emotionally. I usually feel nervous about being away from my cat, but their compassion and clear communication truly kept me at ease for the entire week that I was away. I would absolutely recommend Bennie and Jennie to all cat owners in OC and will be using their services again in the future!

Thank you as always to Jennie and Bennie for taking such good care of our kitties while we were away!

Took great care of my 2 cats and always kept me updated! Would highly recommend them to anyone else needing a cat sitter
