“Yung is reliable and professional. She is quick to respond to messages which is very reassuring when it comes to our fur baby. I was able to book her to help us out last minute and she was very communicative about the details of her visits including lots of photos. “This is our 5th time (tbh I’ve lost count) having her taking care of our kitty. She followed all my instructions perfectly, spent time playing with our kitty, and left the feeding area squeaky clean! We will definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, which has shaped my understanding of their needs, routines, and personalities. I’ve always been involved in caring for my own family pets, including feeding, walking, and giving them consistent attention. Beyond that, I’ve pet sat overnight and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, family, and others. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility and feel comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. I’m currently a student at UC Irvine with availability after classes on most days, as well as full availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy using my free time to stay active. I especially miss having animals in my daily life, so I’m excited to spend time visiting and caring for pets whenever possible. When taking care of pets I like to keep things consistent with their usual routine by making sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get regular walks, and plenty of attention and love. I aim to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away!

About: What sets me apart is my long-term, hands-on experience caring for dogs. In China, I rescued and cared for two stray dogs for over 12 years, supporting them through different life stages and gaining a deep understanding of their needs. I tailor my care to each dog’s personality, age, and daily routine, including appropriate exercise, feeding details, and emotional comfort. I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of every dog, with a strong focus on safety, stability, and trust rather than quantity. I’m currently not working and can spend time with doggies all day long. I am able to provide well-rounded care to them and could spare lots of energy and love to them. I provide calm, structured, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s routine. In my home, pets are cared for in a clean, safe, and quiet environment with plenty of supervision. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walking, and rest, and I keep daily routines as consistent as possible to help pets feel secure. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, fresh water, timely meals, and lots of gentle attention. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I communicate promptly with owners if anything seems off. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar routine, providing reliable care, companionship, and updates so owners can feel at ease.
About: A few fun facts about me: 🚽 I clean the litter box as often as I flush my own toilet 🥗 My pets eat organic, while I’m perfectly fine with fast food 💇 They get daily grooming, while I have a bad hair everyday 🫧 I keep their bowls spotless and shining 🦮 I make sure dogs get real walks, not just quick potty breaks (And this part might be a little bit long) I truly treat pets as family, but I also believe in raising them in a healthy, balanced way. I don’t just love them, I care about their physical and emotional well-being. I’ve raised my Shiba Inu (Chai) since she was 3 months old, and she’s now 10. Shibas are known for being stubborn, but she is well-trained, emotionally stable and sweet, and always praised by our vet for her health and temperament. I’ve always made sure she has the best care, structure, and attention she needs to thrive. I also have two long-haired cats, one Ragdoll (Mabu) and one British Longhair (Mango), so I’m very familiar with the level of grooming, patience, and daily care they require. Their coats are always well-maintained and tangle-free. Mango went through serious health challenges two years ago when he was 5-month old, and I personally managed his treatment at home for 84 days, followed by months of close care. He is now strong, active, and very healthy. I’ve also handled emergency situations and know how to act quickly when something isn’t right. Through all of this, I’ve become very comfortable with medications, health monitoring, and understanding different pet personalities. I’m patient, observant, and detail-oriented, but also calm and reliable in stressful situations. I’m flexible, communicative, and I genuinely care. Your pet won’t just be looked after, they’ll be understood, respected, and cared for like one of my own. I work part-time and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m able to spend a good amount of time caring for fur babies throughout the day! I keep a calm, safe home and have experience helping cats and dogs live together comfortably. I take time to understand their personalities and make sure everyone feels at ease.
About: Families often tell me they appreciate my calm, reliable nature and how quickly I build trust with their pets. I also send regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm, pet-safe environment where they can feel secure and relaxed.
“Yichen was so great! I feel like she went above and beyond checking on all his automatic devices. She was so detailed and very loving to my baby kitten (actually adult). I’m so glad I was able to find her and I will definitely book her again if I can! Thank you for looking after my baby and giving him the love while I’m away!”

“Jennie was amazing to my boy Koda! She took the time to write extensive and detailed updates on each visit and shared many videos and pictures along the way. She fed him, kept his areas tidy and played with him on each visit. She gave me such peace of mind throughout the entire service. I would 100% recommend her, can’t think of a better kitty sitter!”

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs and enjoy spending quality time with them. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from playful pups to more relaxed companions. I’m attentive, patient, and fully committed to making each walk safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your dog’s needs. Whether it’s a high energy play session or a calm stroll, I take pride in building trust with every dog I meet. I am available most weekdays with various time slots throughout the day, I have limited availability on weekends for dog walking. I’m currently accepting a small number of clients so I can provide consistent, high-quality care. I take good care of other people's home to ensure it was left exactly how I found it. I will only be popping in and out for a quick potty break/feed/play visit and to gather your pups and return them for their walks.

About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. I currently work from home selling artwork and crafts so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I can stay all day or even over night and make sure to keep your pet company. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.

University Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Serena was absolutely incredible. Both of our dogs are rescues and can be very timid, so finding someone we could fully trust with their specific needs was extremely important to us. Our newest dog had never stayed with a pet sitter before, and we were understandably nervous, but Serena immediately put both us and our dogs at ease. Our dogs warmed up to her right away, which says a lot about her calm, patient, and genuinely caring demeanor. It was clear from the beginning that she has a natural connection with animals and treats them with so much kindness and attention. Throughout the stay, Serena was professional, communicative, and thoughtful. She kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, took excellent care of our home, and most importantly, our dogs were genuinely happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned. We could tell they felt safe and comfortable with her. We also had to reschedule unexpectedly, and Serena was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which we appreciated so much. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again in the future.

Irina is my most trusted and go-to cat sitter. We were worried with Bobbie being left alone so we had Irina visit him twice per day. She cared and gave him lots of attention. And we were so happy that he stayed And laid on her lap, soaking all the love. Videos and pictures were sent daily to update us with how Bobbie was doing. Thank you to Irina for making Bobbie feel loved.

I’ve used Rover several times for visits while I’m away. They have all been good, really good. Still, Yichen is a standout. My 2 cats instantly liked her. Yichen’s pics and updates each day gave me so much confidence, that they are in good hands. Yichen is very knowledgeable, caring, and respectful. Thank you Yichen !!

Elicia one of my favorite cat sitters. She’s incredibly thorough, loving, attentive, and communicates everything. Which is exactly what you need while you’re gone, and your furry one is at home. She will make your pet feel so loved, and part of her own family. I trust her completely with my cat, and in my home. Which is what makes me feel safe to keep coming back to her. So lucky to have found her!

Xiao did an absolutely fantastic job caring for my two cats. She was incredibly attentive and clearly took the time to make sure they were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She spent quality time with them, especially engaging with my younger, very energetic cat, which I really appreciated. She was consistent, reliable, and had excellent communication throughout. I received plenty of updates, including photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I also have a cat who is a major door dasher, and Xiao was extremely careful every single time and he did not get out once. She followed all of my instructions exactly and went above and beyond. I will absolutely be using Xiao again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you again. You took such good care of them and I really appreciate it.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my cat Toro received while I was away! Michelle is an absolute gem and easily the best cat sitter we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, she impressed me with her professionalism and attention to detail. During our meet and greet, she took thorough notes about Toro’s routine, preferences, and personality. That level of care continued throughout the entire booking. She went above and beyond multiple times: when Toro had a couple of barf incidents, she cleaned everything up promptly and without complaint. She carefully followed his somewhat complicated wet food feeder routine, including washing his bowls each time — something many sitters overlook. Toro clearly felt loved and entertained because she made sure to spend quality playtime with him every day. One moment that really stood out was when Toro’s favorite interactive toy ran out of battery. Instead of letting him be disappointed, she brought her own charger from home to get it working again. That kind of thoughtful, proactive care means so much! Her daily Rover cards were always incredibly detailed and reassuring, and the pictures and videos she sent were high-quality and captured Toro’s happy personality perfectly. I never once worried about him while I was gone — I felt complete peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. I trust Michelle 100% with my cat and would book her again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely kind cat sitter who treats your pet like her own, look no further. Thank you so much for everything!
