“I appreciate Joshua's quick communicating on short notice. We were able to have a nice chat when I dropped off my dogs and make sure everything was okay with his 2 dogs. My booking that day was a pretty long one and he had no problem stepping up to help out. He also took my dogs out for a run, even though I did not ask that from him because it was above and beyond. He happily met my request for extra precaution to block off/shore up the perimeter on the side of house because I was a little concerned about the gate/fence latch that had 1 fastener loose. After I picked my Huskies up late evening, they were even more calm than usual about coming home and winding down for bedtime. Whatever magic Joshua worked, it was much appreciated!”
About: I raised and took care of family Labrador retriever for 15 yrs. I was her primary source for activity, taking her on daily walks and for swims in the lake. I would give her baths, take her regularly to the vet. As further experience dog sitting, I've walked, fed and kept company my neighbor's dog for many years when they away on vacation and business. I'm highly conscientious, very loyal, trustworthy, dependable. I am highly resourceful, extremely adept at walking safely in pedestrian urban traffic, I have a strong sense of direction, utilizing various modes of urban public transport from bicycle to bus to car sharing. I currently live with an lively cat who acts like a dog in many ways and I enjoy giving him the play, attention he needs inside. I’m currently working from home so I have flexibility to fit in breaks throughout the day. I’m generally available for day care or boarding Monday through Friday. I have a safe and spacious apartment with balcony. My apartment building has a courtyard for walking and other dogs for interaction if desired. Sofia is a wonderful dog-sitter... she took amazing care of our pup! 'Cesca was made to feel at home right away, and Sofia's dog Bo quickly became her new friend. We knew she'd be well taken care of from the time we first corresponded with Sofia to set up the play date. She was super timely and communicative, and when we met it was obvious she would be very responsible and take precautions so our active puppy wouldn't get into trouble :) We received pictures and updates during her stay that clearly showed 'Cesca was having a great time. No doubt there will be future play dates with Bo!
Derek did an amazing job of taking care of our super-anxious rescue pup. She usually doesn’t let anyone pet her easily but we were so glad to see how comfortable she was with Derek and his dog. He also sent timely updates with pictures/videos, gave some great feedback about our dog’s behaviour and shared some tips and tricks. Will definitely book again. Alexandra is a lovely lady and a wonderful dog sitter! Her communication and responsiveness is exactly what you want as a pet parent. Our pup took to her instantly and had no hesitation as they walked away from us to begin their ‘play date’. Alexandra’s pup Loki was very welcoming as well, and the two of them played like besties right away. I greatly appreciated all of Alexandra’s texts, videos and pics which completely reassured me that Cesca was in great care and having a terrific time. Both pups had such happy faces… that says it all!!
