Here for the doggos
I took care of my cousin’s 2 dogs for 3 years when he had to live in another country. In college I’ve also help dog sit and walk dogs. Now, I consistently watch dogs through Rover and am very experienced with this app and dog boarding. I’m reliable with frequent walks, on time feeding, and bathing (if necessary). My parents and I watch the dogs together and we love taking the pups out for walks at the park and beach, or even hikes (for larger dogs).

This is the first time in over 10 years where we had to find someone to care for our dog while we went on vacation. I was worried about how she would do in a home and with people she didn’t know. However, Charlene and her family were amazing! She took the time to understand Fiona and what she needed. Fiona was very well taken care of and was taken on so many long walks, which she loves to do. I will be definitely be using Charlene again any time we travel and can’t take Fiona.

Schedule
My job currently requires me to go into office 3 out of 5 days. If the length of stay spans through the weekdays, we can discuss and figure out if it will work for all of us. I can also come back home to feed and provide a potty break around lunch time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an enclosed backyard without much outdoor furniture so it is safe for dogs to run around and play freely. I also live in a very safe neighborhood with lots of parks (and other dogs) nearby. I love giving dogs attention and can easily adapt to their level of energy, whether the dog is more relaxed and calm or if he/she is more hyper and energetic. We also have a crate and a playpen fence, but feel free to bring your own crate/dog bed if the pup will be more accustom to their own bed!
A typical day
During the weekdays I usually take dogs on walks around my neighborhood and they're also welcome to play freely in my enclosed backyard. During the weekends, my parents and I are able to bring them to parks that are a little farther away (we love Irvine Great Park!), the beach, or to Top of the World in Laguna (for bigger dogs that would enjoy the light hike). Whether the dog needs to be stimulated mentally or physically, I can accomodate both!
