I have owned cats my entire life, and am currently owned by a 1 year old rambunctious kitty, Finnegan. I was previously owned by two special senior cats for over 17 years. I have to travel for work occasionally, so I know how hard it is to find a reliable pet sitter that loves and understands cats. Over the past 5 years, I have become comfortable with special medical needs of kitties. I have owned two diabetic cats, and one hyperthyroid cat that is had Stage 2 Kidney disease. I learned how to administer medications including liquids, pills, insulin injections, sub-q fluids, and b12 injections to care for my special cats. While you are away, I can offer the following care to your kitties: * Washing food bowls daily * Refilling water bowls/ fountains daily * Feeding your kitties daily per your specific instructions * Cleaning the litter boxes at each visit * Cleaning up any hairballs/vomit situations * Playing with kitties with their favorite toys if they want interaction * Brushing them if they want * Sending you photos and updates of how your kitties are doing while you are away. I am comfortable with the following medical assistance: * Insulin Injections * Testing BG levels with Glucose monitor prior to insulin injections using lancets * Subq Fluid Administration * Vitamin and supplement administration in foods * Giving oral medications in pill pockets * Giving liquid medications (depending on cat) * applying transdermal medications in ears As I mentioned, I was owned by two diabetic cats, as well as a Hyperthyroid cat, so I understand how important their special medications are, and having them delivered in a timely manner is.
