“We had to change our trip plans last minute due to COVID and David went above and beyond helping us to rebook our trip and get refunded for the lost days. I know my dog was totally pampered while she was with David. My dog looked so happy in the daily photos we received. Also my dog tends to get nervous and will lick herself raw. When we dropped Lucy off she had one spot, because she could tell the trip was coming. When we picked her up the spot was completely healed and there were no new spots!! She initially came to my house, and then when my a/c died, I moved my cat to my brother's house, and Brooke came there too, to learn my cat's routine, get a key, etc. 2) Brooke was very responsive, and kept me updated - letting me know when she was visiting my cat, sending photos, etc. 3) Brooke was very conscientious about my brother's house (where my cat stayed). I left out enough clean bowls that she could have used a new food bowl every day, but she washed up the bowls after feeding my cat (it's wet food, so the bowls get crusty). She also scooped the litter box and took those bags to the outdoor trash so they weren't in the house for days. 4) My cat was happy to see me, but not desperate - if that makes sense. About: I grew up with cats! I come from a line of cat lovers so I’ve always been comfortable with and prefer cats in some ways! I have a cat of my own who I rescued from the side of a busy freeway about a year and a half ago. My cat got diagnosed with FIC last September which causes him to have very painful bladder flare ups. I had to adjust to a new and delicate routine with him so I fully understand how sensitive cats can be! He requires prescription diet as well as medicine. A lot of people say cats are easier because they’re less maintenance which I totally disagree on! Cats may prefer less attention at times but they certainly need and deserve just as much care as any other pet!

“Bennie & Jennie were fantastic to work with! I needed a place to board my 2 cats on very short notice and they were very accommodating. They let me swing by their place first so I could see it before I committed. These folks are 100% cat people and their place is all about the felines! Nice cats live there too but I thought mine would do best in their own private space. The private suite had lots of soft places for them to nap, a window, and climbing surfaces. Bennie & Jennie asked good questions and were genuinely interested to know the temperaments and needs of my kitties, and anything they could do to make them (or me) feel safe and happy during the stay. I got updates the night I dropped off my cats and through the next day, along with photos and videos. They even collected everything I brought, put my cats in their carriers, and brought everything down to me upon checkout. Great service, Bennie & Jennie! They sent me home with an envelope and when I opened it later that night I found a little photo of each of my 2 fur babies. Nice touch, guys! >^,,^<”

About: I grew up with dogs, have looked after family and friends' dogs for years, and now have a high-energy border collie of my own! As I'm just getting started on Rover, I’ve set my rates lower to help me build up reviews and meet the neighborhood pups! I’m looking forward to earning your trust. My work is currently flexible and remote, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I do my very best to keep my availability updated. About: I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! While I normally don’t have a preference between the two, I am currently pregnant with my first so I’m only really able to physically handle small/medium dogs for the time being. As a pet mom myself, pet care is a daily routine for me! I am a stay at home wife (soon to be mom) and spend most of my days spoiling my dog and cat! I’m new to the area so I don’t really have much that gets me out of the house and I absolutely love being around animals so I figured why not try to fill my time by helping other pet parents out who may not have as much time on their hands as I do! I’m very flexible with scheduling and last minute bookings so never hesitate to reach out! During my time working in the PetSmart grooming salon, I became very used to nervous and anxious dogs as grooming time can be very stressful for pets! I’d say I’m pretty good at recognizing anxious behavior and doing my best at making pups more comfortable! I also understand how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone with your pet - especially someone new! I have had an experience in the past that left me traumatized when it comes to leaving my pets in someone else’s care. So I too understand that overwhelming need to check in on your baby and make sure everything is going well! I promise you, as someone who has been on the other end, I am always welcoming to multiple check in texts, long lists, picture requests, and the need for as many details as possible! I’m someone who likes to feel sure in what they’re doing so if I have any questions or concerns- they will be brought up immediately. I never like to assume because there’s always a chance I could be wrong, so I like to get all the details!
About: Hello! My name is Brianna. I love all dogs and cats. I have become the de facto pet-sitter among all my friends and family over the last 4 years. I thought I would continue my love of pets on Rover! I've taken care of animals of all sizes; from under 10 lbs. small dogs and cats all the way to 60 lbs. German Shepard mixes! About: Your pet will feel like part of our family with the security of being taken care of by an experienced pet sitter. Our home has a pet friendly yard that the dogs have access to when we are home. We have 1 dog of our own with various visiting dogs that are all friendly, vaccinated and flea treated. Your dog will leave our house well cared for, well played with and well rested. I offer discounts for over 7 nights. All walks are included in the overnight rate and transportation to and from your home can be arranged. Our preference is to schedule a meet-n-greet prior to your dog's stay. We provide dog bowls, dog beds and crates if needed. You will need to provide dog food and anything your dog might have a preference for. I am a full time pet sitter and dog walker. My day starts with dog walks and ends with dog walks. The dogs have access to the yard for playtime and they will also get additional midday walks if that is what they are used to. Our kitchen area is setup as our doggie den with lots of toys, beds and crates for the dogs that prefer privacy. This leafs to the yard where the dogs will have supervised access.

“We had to change our trip plans last minute due to COVID and David went above and beyond helping us to rebook our trip and get refunded for the lost days. I know my dog was totally pampered while she was with David. My dog looked so happy in the daily photos we received. Also my dog tends to get nervous and will lick herself raw. When we dropped Lucy off she had one spot, because she could tell the trip was coming. When we picked her up the spot was completely healed and there were no new spots!! This means I know they we giving her lots of extra love and attention while we were gone. I would 100% recommend David and his family.”

“My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. We would trust her and her family with our furbaby again and I highly recommend. 🥰”
