After recently searching for a sitter for Nala, I realized how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog like family, because that’s exactly what they are. My goal is to provide you with peace of mind, knowing your dog will be safe, loved, and cared for in our home as if they were my own. After spending 25+ years in the telecom industry, I am now a stay-at-home mom, which gives me the time and flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for the pets I welcome into our home. Your furry family member will receive plenty of attention, companionship, supervision, and love throughout the day, with their safety, comfort, and happiness always being my top priorities. We are located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in Irvine with several nearby parks and walking trails. Nala enjoys four walks a day, and I am happy to provide the same level of activity for your pup based on their needs, energy level, and routine. We also have a spacious home with a secure, fenced grassy backyard that offers both sunny and shaded areas for dogs to relax, explore, bird watch, or simply enjoy outdoor time. I understand every dog has different routines and comfort levels, so I do my best to make their stay feel as close to home as possible. Nala sleeps in a crate at night, but I am happy to accommodate your dog’s normal sleeping arrangements, whether that’s a crate, dog bed, or out in the open. We treat pets like family in our home, so dogs are welcome on the couch, bed, and in the spaces they’re used to enjoying if that aligns with your preferences and home rules. I am also happy to follow your dog’s specific care routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, sleep preferences, and any special instructions that help them feel comfortable and secure. I know being away from your pup can be hard, so I’m happy to send regular photo and update check-ins to help you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. To ensure personalized attention and a calm environment, I only host one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives lots of one-on-one love and care while staying with us. I do ask that dogs are comfortable around children and other dogs, and are reasonably house-trained and comfortable spending short periods indoors when needed. I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your furry family member in my care, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have before booking. I look forward to welcoming your pup into our home and treating them like part of the family!

“This was our very first time leaving Bear with anyone for any amount of time; whether minutes, hours, much less days. And we needed to leave him for 3 nights! We knew this was going to be a BIG DEAL for him AND US. We were so stressed and anxious because we knew Bear will be wondering what is happening, why is his owners leaving him with someone else, etc. We searched and searched on Rover. We went to several meet & greets (M&G). Bear already knew something was up coz he was howling his head off every time we were in the car heading to another M&G. We got referred by another Rover sitter to Rommel since she also had left her dogs with him. Our M&G with Rommel was great. He was very confident & comfortable handing Bear for the very first time and they proceeded to go for a walk. We decided to go with Rommel. I had to give Rommel detailed instructions since Bear is an EPI dog and needs to take his meds. In addition to his other quirks. During Bear's stay with him, Rommel sent videos every day and a note on how Bear is doing. We were so relieved and happy that Bear was doing well. Rommel was also very responsive and prompt when we asked him questions. Thanks so much for welcoming Bear into your family, Rommel!
