About: I've been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was 12 years old, but mainly dogs! I took up every opportunity I could to walk anyone's dog, making sure they get whatever they need. Whether you have an energetic pup that needs a brisk walk or run to let their energy out, or a calmer pup that needs a calmer walk, I want to give your dog whichever they may need. I also have experience giving both oral and topical medication if needed :) I am currently a full time college student and moving out in a few months, but I make time for movement and health, including dog walking! When taking care of a pet in a client's home, I take care of whatever needs the client may need from me at that time! “This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy that it was Brooke! Brooke visited my cat twice a day to feed her and keep her company over the July 4 holiday weekend. I would not hesitate to ask her again! Here are the reasons. 1) Brooke was very professional even before the stay. She came out to meet my cat twice before I left. She initially came to my house, and then when my a/c died, I moved my cat to my brother's house, and Brooke came there too, to learn my cat's routine, get a key, etc. 2) Brooke was very responsive, and kept me updated - letting me know when she was visiting my cat, sending photos, etc. 3) Brooke was very conscientious about my brother's house (where my cat stayed). I left out enough clean bowls that she could have used a new food bowl every day, but she washed up the bowls after feeding my cat (it's wet food, so the bowls get crusty). She also scooped the litter box and took those bags to the outdoor trash so they weren't in the house for days. 4) My cat was happy to see me, but not desperate - if that makes sense. It was clear that she had been cared for. Thank you again, Brooke!”

“I appreciate Joshua's quick communicating on short notice. We were able to have a nice chat when I dropped off my dogs and make sure everything was okay with his 2 dogs. My booking that day was a pretty long one and he had no problem stepping up to help out. He also took my dogs out for a run, even though I did not ask that from him because it was above and beyond. He happily met my request for extra precaution to block off/shore up the perimeter on the side of house because I was a little concerned about the gate/fence latch that had 1 fastener loose. After I picked my Huskies up late evening, they were even more calm than usual about coming home and winding down for bedtime. Whatever magic Joshua worked, it was much appreciated!”

About: I have always loved dogs of all sizes and breeds ever since I was younger, but my parents used to be scared of them, so as soon as I went to college, I started telling all my friends that if they need any dog sitting services they can absolutely use me and I'd just watch them for free. For the last 5 years, I've been dog sitting, ranging from a couple hours to five days at a time and enjoyed every moment of it! I work from home all day, except for going into to my in person job 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday. I am home most weekends and especially with pet care would prioritize my schedule around being home for the fur babies!! I would be in an apartment so unfortunately I don't have a yard, but I do plan to take the doggos for walks around my residential neighborhood, and I plan to be extremely attentive to the pets so that everything goes smoothly. If the owner prefers, I have no problem messaging updates during the time, or asking them for questions/ clarifications.
“Zoey is a very anxious dog and gets very nervous when going to new places. We met Rebecca at her home and we first took Zoey and her dog hunter for a walk. I was in shock because Zoey will only walk a small area that she's familiar with, once she gets to a certain point, she's headed for home. I stopped Rebecca and told her this never happens. This was my first indication of it being a good fit. We than went to her backyard yard. Zoey sat in my lap for a bit, I put her down and she sniffed around the yard, went in the house to check things out. Again, no signs if being anxious. R3becca is very calm and her well behaved dog was an indication that she has spent time teaching good behavior. I think I could learn a few things from her.”

About: I’ve cared for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi since he was 10 weeks old, and he is now almost 5. I enrolled him in puppy classes, established a consistent daily routine, and have always stayed on top of his veterinary care, vaccinations, checkups, grooming, exercise, and enrichment. Raising him from puppyhood taught me how much patience, consistency, attention, and affection dogs need. I can reinforce certain tricks if requested, and administer oral medication. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. (Please note that dogs over 40 pounds must have good leash manners for me to safely care for them) I maintain a highly flexible schedule, so i’m readily available for midday walks and drop-in visits, boarding, and house sitting. I can easily accommodate last-minute, same-day appointments. I plan my day around each dog’s usual feeding, potty, walking, medication, and bedtime routine. During boarding or house sitting, dogs may be left alone for up to three hours at a time, depending on their individual needs. Please let me know if your dog requires more frequent supervision before booking. I live with my boyfriend and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi in an apartment with a large patio. Guest dogs are welcome on our furniture and beds, and I do my best to make them feel like part of the family. Dogs are always supervised while using the patio. For boarding, I require a meet-and-greet with my Corgi so we can make sure the dogs are comfortable together. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, keep dogs leashed outside, monitor interactions, and maintain their established routines. When house sitting or completing drop-in visits, I will treat your home respectfully and make sure it is secured when I leave. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates.

About: I have been a “Dog Mom” for over 20 years. Often having multiple dogs of different sizes and breeds. I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I currently have no dogs in the house and I miss it so much! I’m excited to help your family any way I can. I’m a stay at home mom with one 9 year old boy who shares in my love for dogs.
