“Ynes was prompt and professional. I can tell that my pup really enjoyed their walks. I’d absolutely use Ynes again, my mind was completely at ease while I was out of town.”

“We have used Darius twice with our dog Lyanna. He does very well with our big girl who just loves to pull on walks. He is also very prompt and communicates well! We will continue to use Darius!”

About: I have had a cat since I was 10 and A dog since 12. I have experience with my cat giving birth to kittens and raising them. I also have adopted a cat who was FIV +. My first word as a kid was dog lol and I absolutely adore all dogs. I am active and live walking/ running almost as much as the athletic dogs but I am also always down to chill with a senior dog or little dog who needs a different kind of attention to feel loved. I have taken care of several senior dogs with arthritis or blindness and understand the importance of intentional care. I would love to help make your furry friends feel loved while you’re away. I work part time at night so I am free all day and nights when Im not working. Taking care of your pet is my priority I’m happy to care for pets in their home, whether that means stopping by for playtime, feeding, walks, or simply giving them some company while you’re away. I also offer walks and fun outings to help keep pets active and happy! I’m not currently offering overnight stays, but I’m happy to provide dependable daytime care. I also have a friendly cat of my own and would be happy to host a cat in my home if they are comfortable and friendly around other cats. 🐾🤍

“Chole is the BEST! She is always on time, she always sends over a bunch of pictures and will let me know of anything that happens during her walk good and bad! She is a vet tech so she is very knowledgeable on many things! Taught me how to spot a heat stroke and what do do if it gets to that. She is also suuuuper sweet with Hank! I would 100% recommend her and that is why I have her booked each week!”

“Needed someone to walk my fur baby urgently & Kayla was absolutely perfect. She responded quickly, communicating was effortless & Kane loved her! He can’t wait to see you again! Thanks again!”

“Alana was great with Koda! It was so helpful to have an extra hand with just bringing a newborn home this week. Alana was very quick to respond and had great communication. Koda is still smiling ❤️”

“Cameron helped my husband and me with walking/checking in on our dog for a few weeks, and she was wonderful! Our dog is nervous and untrusting of new people and Cameron was calm and helped put her at ease. Cameron was extremely responsive, on-time, and flexible with any last minute requests which was a huge help for our unpredictable schedules.”

Ana did AMAZING with my 10 year old lab. He’s reactive and can be overwhelming when you first meet him, but she took her time to allow him to feel her out and the rest of his walks went smoothly. She walked him 3x a day while I was out of town and was always prompt and on time every walk. Ana went above and beyond making sure he was set once she brought him back and she was very quick responsive when reaching out. I will be using her again & you should too! 10/10 service for sure.

Morgan is great! She really helps me out by coming over to play with my dog / take him for a walk so I don’t have to rush home from work. She communicates well and my dog really likes her. I know it’s a good day because he’s hard asleep on his bed when I get home!

Gari was absolutely incredible with our senior dog. He is extremely shy and nervous and has several eating issues that require special care and patience. Gari went above and beyond to ensure he was eating, drinking, and happy. Gari is extremely communicative and genuinely cares about your pet. Will absolutely book again!

Darius was kind and has great energy. My dog took to him pretty instantly and let him pet all over her. He responded really quickly to my initial message requesting a walk and was able to do a meet and greet the very next day. He sent lots of pics and listened attentively when I explained all this Amber(my dog) to him.

Brittany's so awesome! She helped me last minute and walked my baby Nola. She was so sweet to also help me out. Brittany went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of. She was great with communication and details, even helped me out with everything because I waa having trouble booking . I absolutely recommend her!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
