He was very prompt to respond and accommodated everything. He was very vigilant for for example I feed my dog fresh food, which I forgot to tell him, but he had already put the food in the fridge. He has a very sweet and loving puppy, and I could visibly see mylo happy. If I ever returned to Houston, Darius is my guy. Milo has never been around strangers, but he was extremely comfortable with Darius. He also sent updates every so often and was prompted to answer anything I asked. I don’t think twice.”

About: I grew up on a farm in Indiana and we were known as a place folks could dump big dogs. At one point we had 5 adult St Bernards - so I do love big dogs. However, even though I’m on the first floor, there are stairs and elevators to get to the outside. If you big dog struggles with stairs this might not be the happiest place for them. Overall, I have been around dogs are all sizes all my life. My only request is that they like cats as I have 3 boys who are not brave. I’m a healthcare analyst who works 99% of the time remote. My complex as a lovely dog park and I live in a highly walkable part of Midtown/Montrose. I’m in a complex with a lovely dog park and will require the use of a leash when the dog isn’t in my home or in a fenced dog park.

When absent from home, I always want animals to feel comfortable so I don’t typically crate unless otherwise specified. Boarding pickup and drop off hours are designated between 7am -11pm weekdays and 7am-12am on Fri/Sat. If your hours are outside of this, it is considered a special accommodation and will require an additional fee. Please inquire, thanks! My home is warm and playful. I want all pets to have a safe and happy transition while their owner is away. Since I understand it can be tough to leave your loved one, I do provide daily updates upon request. About: I currently have three fur babies of my own: Gia and Grizzly, who are littermates, and Blondie, who I found the day before I moved into my current home — I'm convinced she was a housewarming gift from the universe. There is also a small, fenced outdoor dog park inside my apartment complex. Bayou Buffalo Park is also around the corner from my apartment. The emergency vet hospital (VEG) is less than half a mile from my apartment and I am experienced with the dog heimlich maneuver. I have also "doggie proofed" my apartment and have created a safe haven for my rescue dog Cloud. I have multiple dog beds lying around my apartment and a crate full of dog toys so boredom is never an issue! I also have cool dog puzzles that help stimulate your dogs brain! My dog is allowed on the furniture and also on the bed because life is short, why not :) But if you prefer they not be on the furniture, just let me know! I try to care for your dog just like you care for them so that there is a continuity of care. Please give me as many details about the care of your pup as possible such as specific feeding times, the number of treats they're allowed etc. Sometimes, dogs may need their own space depending on their personality, which I can easily create using baby gates if needed to create a divider. I have a LOT of space in my apartment for your dog to roam since I do not like clutter so I converted my dining room area into my dog's own personal man cave lol theres toys, and a huge area to lounge.

“Most of the dog sitters I've tried out don't meet my standards and I normally don't leave reviews, but Sharon did a fantastic job taking care of my dog Rosie, so I'm leaving this review. I can tell that Sharon went above the norm for my dog Rosie's experiences with Rover sitters because after I picked Rosie up (and for >2 days following), there were no perceivable change in Rosie's (1) behavior, (2) 💩 quality, or (3) coat/fur shedding compared what they were like when I dropped her off. These three stress metrics indicate to me that Rosie was given a good amount of care in terms of play, discipline, exercise, food/treats, petting/brushing. I always anticipate some level of stress in a new environment, and that might decrease over time when the dog acclimates to the new sitter. But Rosie was clearly comfortable and cared for by Sharon. I will definitely look for Sharon to watch Rosie when I need a dog sitter in the future.”
“It was a great overall experience. Ximena met with myself and Remi at a local park so that he could get used to being around her. She was really communicative leading up to the stay and sent a ton of photos/videos throughout. Remi came home tired, but very happy! Will definitely be using Ximena again.”

“My Nina requires patience, lots of it, and Casandra and her husband Donald had tons of it. They provided a very dedicated care to my dog, excellent, constant, often, extensive communication with many photos, took my dogs on walks and provided family companionship which is the best kind a dog can get. They’re very kind and professional and you can tell they truly love dogs and aren’t doing this just for money! God Bless them! I’m definitely coming back to them as soon as I need it. 100% recommended !”
