My family and I have 5 dogs of our own and recently we were adopted by our newly stray cat, Carey. We have been fostering dogs since Thanksgiving of 2017 and we have learned a lot how all pets deserve second chances and how each one of them heals at their own time. My dog walks are tailored to your pet needs, I will focus on the safety of your pet and myself during my service. You can trust that your pet will always be in loving and caring hands. Dog walking would be my primary activity next to my English classes. I will work with you to make sure that your pets needs are met in a timely manner. “Darius was a god sent. I was visiting Houston from Dallas with my husband and puppy. I stayed at a dog friendly hotel but even going for breakfast made my puppy very anxious alone in the room we decided to use over for the first time and I urgently contacted Darius. He was very prompt to respond and accommodated everything. He was very vigilant for for example I feed my dog fresh food, which I forgot to tell him, but he had already put the food in the fridge. He has a very sweet and loving puppy, and I could visibly see mylo happy. If I ever returned to Houston, Darius is my guy. Milo has never been around strangers, but he was extremely comfortable with Darius. He also sent updates every so often and was prompted to answer anything I asked. I don’t think twice.”

I have a 4 year old miniature poodle who is just as excited to spend time with your pet! Please note minimum THREE days are required for booking services. When absent from home, I always want animals to feel comfortable so I don’t typically crate unless otherwise specified. Boarding pickup and drop off hours are designated between 7am -11pm weekdays and 7am-12am on Fri/Sat. If your hours are outside of this, it is considered a special accommodation and will require an additional fee. Please inquire, thanks! My home is warm and playful. I want all pets to have a safe and happy transition while their owner is away. Since I understand it can be tough to leave your loved one, I do provide daily updates upon request. It’s my goal to not only ensure your animal is well cared for, but also that you have security in choosing me as a provider. As some bookings may overlap, please be advised your pet may be boarded with other (small/medium sized) dogs, and all temperaments are evaluated for safety. About: I currently have three fur babies of my own: Gia and Grizzly, who are littermates, and Blondie, who I found the day before I moved into my current home — I'm convinced she was a housewarming gift from the universe. My apartment is very centrally located, im about 3 miles from downtown, 4 miles from The Museum District etc so you can also leave your dog with me while you are visiting Houston! *** For drop in visits during the weekday, I am available anytime before 10:30am and anytime after 7pm. On the weekends I am available anytime. Although I live in an apartment complex, I do have a small outdoor patio that opens up to a lush courtyard where dogs can sniff or potty. There is also a small, fenced outdoor dog park inside my apartment complex. Bayou Buffalo Park is also around the corner from my apartment. The emergency vet hospital (VEG) is less than half a mile from my apartment and I am experienced with the dog heimlich maneuver. I have also "doggie proofed" my apartment and have created a safe haven for my rescue dog Cloud. I have multiple dog beds lying around my apartment and a crate full of dog toys so boredom is never an issue! I also have cool dog puzzles that help stimulate your dogs brain! My dog is allowed on the furniture and also on the bed because life is short, why not :) But if you prefer they not be on the furniture, just let me know! I try to care for your dog just like you care for them so that there is a continuity of care. Please give me as many details about the care of your pup as possible such as specific feeding times, the number of treats they're allowed etc. Sometimes, dogs may need their own space depending on their personality, which I can easily create using baby gates if needed to create a divider. I have a LOT of space in my apartment for your dog to roam since I do not like clutter so I converted my dining room area into my dog's own personal man cave lol theres toys, and a huge area to lounge.

They provided a very dedicated care to my dog, excellent, constant, often, extensive communication with many photos, took my dogs on walks and provided family companionship which is the best kind a dog can get.
