She did end up having to take her in, and stayed up through the night keeping us informed with updates, all while balancing the care of our other cat, Lily. Chloe stayed calm and collected and was a source of reassurance throughout this pet parent's worst nightmare. Our sweet Tulip came out the other side okay, thanks to Chloe's quick thinking, her skill working with animals, and her excellent communication. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and spent 6 summers working as a competitive dog trainer, where I had the opportunity to work with dogs of all different personalities, breeds, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dogs, understand their individual needs, and build trust with them through patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement. I grew up with dogs in my family and have always loved how naturally friendly, loving, and fun they are to be around. Now that I live in Houston away from my friends, family, and the dogs I grew up with, Rover feels like the perfect way to bring dogs back into my life while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced, caring hands. I work full-time in Houston, so I’m typically available for dog sitting, walks, and drop-ins during evenings and on weekends. I’m especially interested in weekend stays and sitting opportunities, but I also have flexibility for evening walks and drop-ins when I’m in town. About: I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a full-time veterinary technician, I work with pets every day and have experience recognizing signs of illness, administering medications, and helping animals feel safe and comfortable.
