“My husband and I are new to the state. We have no family here. I’ve never boarded my dogs and was super hesitant to get a sitter for my dog Boo, who’s a rescue, and can be very nervous around new people. I was also hesitant to have a stranger in my house! Believe me when I say, Sirrine was Amazing! She took SUCH great care of Boo! She not only dog sat, and kept in touch with pictures of Boo daily, she got right back to my texts and questions, and my house was in super condition when we got back! She even left smooth jazz channel on for Boo until we got home! She’s attentive, VERY prepared and professional, yet SO down to earth & sweet. I will definitely NEVER even Think of getting anyone else BESIDES Sirrine when we go out town again. Cannot recommend her enough :) Tom, Monica, & Boo”

Was nervous about leaving them for the first time but was immediately put at ease knowing they were in good hands. She sent multiple updates with pictures daily which really helped a lot. She was flexible with my schedule and accommodating all around. Highly highly recommend and look forward to hiring her again in the future!”

We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you again for helping us so much!”
About: Hi! I’ve lived and cared for dogs, cats, and ferrets all throughout my life. I have also worked at a pet resort and volunteered at a pet rescue where I gained experience in dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, reptiles, and birds. I have experience with giving medications, maintaining (mostly kitty) boundaries, and strict feeding schedules. I also currently have one pitbull (my stepson) and two young 1-year-old kitties (my children) bestowed to me by the Cat Distribution System! However, I have to say I’m partial to small dogs since I grew up with Shih Tzu mixes! I love them all. I schedule my life around theirs. Their whole world is me, so I prioritize their needs. I’ll do whatever they need me to do, one example being I have to now take my cats on their own walks (harness-trained) because they get jealous of their dog sibling. I always offer companionship and play if that’s what the pet’s body language is giving me, or I can just be a warming presence who just provides food and cleanup. I’ve worked with dogs who need 6 walks a day and cats who you need an oven mitt before serving food. I go based off them!

Far Northeast pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lindsey watched my two frenchies, Boba and Mocha, this weekends while my wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Galveston. It was the first time we had gone on vacation since having the girls. It’s meant everything to us being able to go on vacation with a peace of mind knowing our babies are having probably more fun than us. We left our rover camera on (we let Lindsey know of course) and seeing the highlights had us cackling at what a good time they were having. She provided the exact ratio of fun walk time to cuddle time. She spoke to them so sweetly. I loved how she made sure Mocha always had access to her little stairs. I haven’t seen boba nap that hard since she was a puppy. She was zonked outtt. And for an anxious girly that’s everything. And every time I saw the camera mocha had sat her booty right on Lindsey’s lap. Boba claimed her spot immediately next to Lindsey and put one paw on her lap. They followed her everywhere she went. I take all this to mean Boba and Mocha have taken her in as a member of their pack. When we returned home the babies were so relaxed and the apartment was still clean and smelling nice and the babies had not inflicted any damage to the walls. This is more than I can say for when we go to the grocery store so imagine my elation upon returning to an intact home after 3 days away. I speak for my whole family when I say, Lindsey is welcome into our home and her service has been invaluable. 10 stars!!!

Jessica was a great communicator before and during her sit at my home. All the pets felt at home with her, and I could relax while I was away knowing they were in great hands. She also took great care of the house, and was very respectful of our space. Will definitely book again!

Marcella was wonderful. She came by before the sit to meet us and get a run down of responsibilities. Major took to her instantly. She's kind, reliable, and trustworthy. She arrived on time, maintained my pup's routine and sent lots of pics. I knew my boy was in great hands. I could tell he was well loved and cared for in my absence. She's welcome back anytime!

Hannah was awesome... took us on a last minute booking. She took such good care of our pets and house. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing someone to stay at their house with pets. Her communication with us was great as well... my wife really appreciated that.
Isabella is the best!! I was very happy with the care my dog, Bella, received during her stay. I was updated several times a day along with pictures. My dog was super happy and didn't seem to want go home when I picked her up. I highly recommend Isabella! This was my first time using Rover and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Isabella and will use her from here on out.
