“Desdrianneja was an amazing sitter, especially for taking such a last minute booking. Holiday travel plans changed and we ended up not having someone available. She took our booking at the absolute last minute and didn’t even bat an eye. She was punctual on check-ins with our cats, and went out of her way to keep an eye on our shyer cat who likes to hide. She helped clean up litter boxes and trash on her way on and overall was a perfect fit. Would book again.”

“Tatyana was the BEST! She was so communicative and flexible. My dog was so at ease with her and she sent me lots of pictures throughout our stay. 10/10 recommend!”
“Amanda took excellent care of my beagle guy while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly love animals. I appreciated the regular updates and photos! It gave me real peace of mind. My dog seemed happy, well-exercised, and comfortable when I returned. I would absolutely book them again if I ever travel back to Houston.”

“From the first interaction through Rover, Eva was timely, professional, friendly, and thorough. She was a great a communicator and very thoughtful with my doggies. I could tell I would very much appreciate how attentive and interactive she was, with my pets as well as giving me updates while I was away. She had the initiative to ask detailed questions about my pets and took notes, offered to bring treats for them and even played with them outside. Since one my dogs has incontinence issues, she even brought items to protect my furniture. Overall, I am very pleased with Eva and encourage anyone to have confidence in booking with her. I look forward to rebooking with her myself.”

“Timothy is a 5 Star Pet Sitter! He is 100% responsible and responsive! Our dog is "high energy" and Tim took her our several times a day for walks. He has an obvious heart for dogs and our dog stuck right by his side when he was here. He also left the house in spotless conditiion. We feel very lucky to have had him pet sit for our family! The Lankfords”

“Brianna was great! She sent lots of pictures while we were away which was great and definitely eased my anxieties. She was friendly and very communicative. I will definitely be booking with her again next time we are in need of a pet sitter 😄”

“This is our second time for Ashley to work with our fur babies. The pets remembered her and immediately were at ease. She spends quality time with them, takes care of their meds, walks, and cuddles. We arrived home to clean critters with cute collar bows and a clean house. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely call again!”

“Deanna was very kind to our little kitties while we were out of the state. Before we left, Juniper showed signs of an upper respiratory illness which required medication. Deanna was willing to learn how to administer the medicine at the proper time and dosage which eased our worries while we were gone. Being that it was our first trip away from our new cat, Silvan, we were happy to see lots of pictures of the cats getting along with each other. She was a considerate guest, cleaned up after herself before departing, and took the time to take our bins to the curb for the weekly trash pick-up. Overall we would recommend her to anyone in need of cat care in the area. Thanks, Deanna!”

“Paula was a fantastic pet & housesitter for us! She asked so many questions during our meet & greet and made sure to send plenty of pics of our babies while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Shirlette took care of my cat Topaz over the holidays. I’m so thankful she was available! She kept me updated on how my cat was doing while I was away. I’ll definitely book her again in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover and my first time ever leaving Pete with someone I didn’t personally know, so I was definitely nervous. Emilee immediately made me feel comfortable and confident from the start. I was out of state for 5 days and she sent constant updates, which gave me so much peace of mind the entire trip. I just got back and Pete is happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience I would absolutely book with Emilee again and highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: Currently in between pets at the moment and relish opportunities to spend time with newfound friends. Ive been an experienced dog sitter for family and friends for over 20 years. I know that routines are crucial for a seamless transition, and have plenty of experience with giving medication. I live in Montrose and work full time at an office ten minutes away, so I can drop by for lunchtime walks if necessary. I have a beautiful neighborhood to walk around in with a large patio for fresh air and high altitude sniffs. I want to make this as seamless a transition for your buddy as possible - share with me their routine, and I'll mirror as close as I can: from being homebodies watching movies all weekend to socialites galavanting around breweries and making new friends. I have extensive experience with giving medication, and I love handing out treats as often as is allowed!

“Tim was a fantastic dog sitter for my dog and my parents dog while we were out of town. From the initial meet and greet to ensuring I made it back safely he was nothing but professional. He sent me text and photo updates to let me know the dogs were ok. He even went out of his way to water my grass/plants which was much appreciated! I will definitely plan to book with Tim again when I go out of town in the future.”

About: I currently have three fur babies of my own: Gia and Grizzly, who are littermates, and Blondie, who I found the day before I moved into my current home — I'm convinced she was a housewarming gift from the universe. My household also includes my cousin and roommate Jackeline, whose cat Stormy keeps everyone on their toes, so yes... cats are absolutely welcome here too! ◡̈ Beyond my own babies, I'm an active foster for Heart of the Underdog, a Houston-based rescue nonprofit. I also volunteer at the Houston Humane Society, and throughout college I spent weekends walking dogs for Friends for Life, another Houston rescue. Caring for animals has been a constant thread throughout my adult life, not an occasional thing. I'm embedded in my East Downtown (EaDo) neighborhood and have been an informal go-to sitter for neighbors' dogs and cats for years. **** I've recently added a new experience to my resume: one of my foster dogs gave birth in my home, so I'm officially experienced in newborn puppy care too. I'm the happiest version of myself when I'm surrounded by animals and helping them have a better quality of life. This isn't just a side gig for me, it's genuinely my happy place. I'm available throughout the week and genuinely love having pets around, the more the merrier. Outside of caring for my own three pups and any active fosters, I have a flexible, open schedule that makes it easy to give visiting pets real time and attention, not just check-ins. Weekends work great too. I'm not just fitting pet care in around a packed calendar, it's a priority, not an afterthought. My dogs free-roam at home, and I'm experienced at managing a multi-dog household safely, including around food and toy guarding situations. My own pups range from 60–90 lbs, so large breeds are totally comfortable here and very welcome. Through fostering, I've worked with reactive dogs, puppies, and pregnant mamas...and I've even delivered a litter of puppies in my home. I've also done hands-on training and confidence-building work with fosters who needed extra patience and support. I'm very tuned in to dog body language and behavior. I pay attention to what a dog is telling me, and I adjust my approach based on what they actually need, not just what the routine calls for.
“Mateo is the best! Our senior dog is so comfortable with him and Mateo is so responsive and great at sending updates. Always leaves the house incredibly tidy too. He is our #1 pick when it comes to having someone sit our dog.”

“Ally was great! Teddy can definitely be a handful at times, but she managed well by looking after him. Jack usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but with Ally, he opened up so quickly it felt like they had known each other forever. Ally is reliable and trustworthy which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. On top of that, she tidied up around the house and even offered to help with more before she left. I would highly recommend Ally to any and all pet owners.”

“Journey did an incredible job house sitting for us, sending us tons of updates and pictures. She is diligent and took great care of our dog and our cat. Will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

Stephanie was fantastic! She dog-sat our girl for 9 days while we were out of the country and I am so glad we went with her. I had so much anxiety about leaving our dog behind for such a long span of time but Stephanie made everything easy and breezy. She updated us multiple times a day and responded within minutes if we reached out requesting an update because we missed our baby. When we returned from our trip, our dog and home were left in perfect condition. We will definitley rebook!

Naomi was absolutely wonderful! She followed all instructions perfectly, kept my place spotless, and most importantly, kept Mocha happy and well cared for. It was clear she’s very confident and experienced in what she does, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I came home to a relaxed, happy pup and a tidy home! Highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Tim provided 7 nights of house/pet sitting for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. He met with us for a thorough meet and greet on short notice. He was communicative via text and pics throughout our trip, even while we were 7hrs apart in our time zones. Everybody loved him - even our surly semi-ferrel cat! He left our house clean and tidy, too. We will definitely work with Tim again.

Tara was amazing with my two demanding Shiba Inus and my cat! She took care of them for a whole week while we traveled. She always made sure to send timely updates with many photos, helped us out with other small things and the dogs loved her! I felt at ease knowing she was there for them :)
