About: Hey there reader! I’ve been taking care of animals what seems to be my entire life now, or at least since I was physically able to! It’s always come naturally to me, almost like a calling. I started dog sitting when I 15 years old and haven’t really stopped since, I’ve volunteered and worked at animal shelters throughout houston as well. I’ve fostered a Pom-Chi, Shepards, Pit-bull’s, Dobermans, no breeds, Bulldogs, and many more. As well as, full on caring for a 17 yr old senior pup, recently rescued a 99ib Dutch shepherd who lives in Alaska with my friend and last but not least my little sidekick Poe - a gray kitty! I can administer medicine, give baths, clip nails, shave paw pads, prove balanced human-grade canine safe meals, and most importantly making sure your buds feel comfortable & loved! I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have the time and energy to focus on all the animals that need my care, I’m available throughout the week except I just need a heads up but my schedule is quite flexible. I naturally believe in gentle teaching, animals are far more intelligent than we seem to give them credit for so I like to stimulate their brains with small jobs they’d enjoy or playing games for treats. If your pup is trained I can also take them on hikes or provide fun exercises!

Kaira has been house/petsitting for our two senior girls for two years now. She always does am amazing job with them. She gives them all their foods/meds/treats as requested, sends the perfect amount of updates and pictures, always leaves our house in good shape, and we can tell our pups love her. Tanita was wonderful with our girls. She was timely, communicative, and made sure they had all their needs met. My husband I have been trying to manage the dogs with our busy travel schedules, and she kept us both looped in with photo updates throughout the stay, and answered any questions we had, putting our minds at ease the whole time. Jennifer took care of my two cats and one dog for 6 days. Our dog is very shy and needs to warm up to people but she won him over very quickly. She walked him as requested and kept everyone fed and happy. She also kept the house tidy upon my return. I recommend her and will use her again in the future.
We had such a great experience with Sarah! I was so happy to see how quickly Maggie took to her and how much love, attention, and snuggles she gave her while we were away. Kathleen is great. We had her watch Caesar for 3 weeks during an international trip; after doing a meet and greet with her, we were confident he would be in good hands. We returned to a happy, healthy boy. She was both independent and communicative throughout the stay - sending pics as well. We also came back to a home perhaps cleaner than we left it. Daniela was such a blessing! From day one she was very responsive and professional. I made her come to my house twice for meet and greet because i have two Dobermans and i needed them to get familiarized with her before my trip. She accomodated my last minute changes and made the whole experience so enjoyable. My dogs are very high maintenance and extremely velcro so i was worried it would be too much for Daniela but nope! Got so many pictures and updates that i didnt worry about my doggos (or my house) while i was on vacation. She went above and beyond and left the house even cleaner than how i left it. Even gave freyja a bath. Not ever booking with anyone else other than her :) happy with my first ever rover experience and very thankful i found her.
Victoria did a wonderful job sitting for my dogs and cats. I know it's a lot of work with multiple pets, especially with my oldest dog, Charlie, who takes multiple medications. Victoria followed all instructions and kept me updated with pictures and messages while I was gone. I appreciated not having to worry while I was out of town.
Other sitters we’ve used in the past always left our dog, Bolero, and our apt well treated, but our fur baby was learning bad behaviors. Eric stayed at our apt and watched Bolero for over a week and he was amazing. He sent messages and pictures everyday. He bathed Borelo, despite my warning that he didn’t need to unless it was really a problem because our cavapoo is unsurprisingly a good boy but because of his energy he is marked at the groomers as “needs special attention”. Bolero’s latest visit involves him peeing on at least 3 people over a 4 hour period with a happy smile on his face the whole time-despite having peed 3 times in the parking lot before walking in the door. Bolero is 3 years old and house trained. Eric left our apt exactly as we left, and had a super easy handoff. It seems like our dog misses him, and is still well behaved, so we will be using him again in the future. :)
