“Tanita is the best! There was an immediate connection between she and my pup. You could tell right away that she is a dog person. She sent pictures while we were out of town which I loved. She never complained but I am certain she cleaned up pee and poop messes. She left the house in better condition than the way we left it. Tanita is very responsible and trustworthy. Overall it was a really great experience and I absolutely will be reaching out to Tanita again when we go out of town. My dog keeps asking when she will be coming back! Highly recommend.”

About: I’m a huge animal lover that has been surrounded by dogs my whole life. Me and my wife share 2 pups! Kobe and Kona! My sweet girl Kona is 13 years old is the kind of dog that needs a bit more love and patience than most, so i’m great with paying close attention to a dogs behavior and getting to know what exactly makes them tick. With Kona being a senior dog with allergies and hip problems, I understand the slower care a senior dog needs. Kobe on the other hand is a silly boy that wants belly scratches from everyone. He is 1 years old and is still an energetic puppy! Getting to know your fur baby in a personal sense on its own time/terms gives me the confidence I need to believe that I will be a great dog walker and caregiver for your fur baby! I’m currently not working a full time job so I have a lot of time to care for your fur baby as needed! Mostly available for walks and sitting in the afternoon and evenings. I live in a larger 2 bedroom apartment with a big dog park and lots of walking and grassy areas surrounding me! I have 2 dogs, my senior dog sleeps the days away as she has hip problems and cannot run like she used to, and my puppy loves to play and share his toys and treats with all of his fur friends! Your dog will be given the most love and attention its heart desires! I live with my wife but she will not be caring for your fur baby.

About: My entire life, my home has been described as the neighborhood’s “local zoo.” From livestock to pocket pets, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I’ve volunteered working hands-on with animals at the zoo, and currently care for two dogs, one cat, some small animals, and fish I’ve been pet sitting for over five years and have experience with many dog breeds, ages, and personalities. I focus on building trust, supporting positive behavior, and helping animals feel safe and comfortable in my care. I believe pets deserve to enjoy being animals—without unnecessary stress—while still feeling understood and respected by the humans around them. I’m currently a full time commuting student. My school hours will begin at 8am and end at 4:30pm most days. I will be available to feed and walk your pet before and after these timings. Weekends I am free with notice. Pets are allowed supervised free roam of my home. During the day, they will likely be confined to one room or a crate if needed while I’m at school. Pets will have unlimited access to water, other dogs to interact with, plenty of toys, etc.

The secret with pets is to make them feel comfortable and in trust, so you don’t have to worry about they can feel alone because I'll take care of him as if he were mine. About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to pitbulls to Great Danes. My father is an owner of 4 cats which I also have experience taking care of. One of his former cats was disabled with feline AIDS so I also have experience handling and administering oral medication. I’ve even worked in an emergency vet hospital as a scribe and know how to identify signs of illness and where to take them should something go wrong (knock on wood). My whole life I have been a lover of all animals and I do my best to stay educated on animal safety and body language. I mainly take freelance jobs so I can take jobs any time between the hours of 11am and 10pm with some exceptions if necessary for overnight bookings. I do not take in pets in my own home as I live in an apartment and other dogs and owners can be unpredictable. I can take your dog on walks, feed them, and cuddle or play with them or let them rest in their own space! Let me know their quirks and I will work with them as best I can!
