“Ashley was awesome with our fur babies! She provided regular updates and sent lots of daily photos. Ashley was very responsive every time when we texted her. We will definitely use Ashley the next time we need dog sitting services.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets through house sitting (several platforms) and personal referrals for over 3 years, including dogs and cats with a variety of needs and personalities including medication distribution. I’m experienced with overnight stays, maintaining routines, feeding schedules, walks, litter care, and providing a calm, consistent environment while owners are away. I also work remotely, so I’m able to be present in the home for extended periods, giving pets more attention, supervision, and stability compared to sitters who are in and out throughout the day. Most of my experience has come from repeat sits and trusted referrals, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions to make sure your pet stays happy, safe, and stress-free. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be home for extended periods throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, so I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular walks, feeding, and companionship without long gaps. I’m available for overnight stays, drop-ins, and last-minute bookings when needed. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment for every pet. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I’m attentive to behavior and comfort, and I keep spaces clean and secure at all times. Since I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods, and I can provide regular updates for peace of mind.
About: Hi! I’ve lived and cared for dogs, cats, and ferrets all throughout my life. I have also worked at a pet resort and volunteered at a pet rescue where I gained experience in dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, reptiles, and birds. I have experience with giving medications, maintaining (mostly kitty) boundaries, and strict feeding schedules. I also currently have one pitbull (my stepson) and two young 1-year-old kitties (my children) bestowed to me by the Cat Distribution System! However, I have to say I’m partial to small dogs since I grew up with Shih Tzu mixes! I love them all. I schedule my life around theirs. Their whole world is me, so I prioritize their needs. I’ll do whatever they need me to do, one example being I have to now take my cats on their own walks (harness-trained) because they get jealous of their dog sibling. I always offer companionship and play if that’s what the pet’s body language is giving me, or I can just be a warming presence who just provides food and cleanup. I’ve worked with dogs who need 6 walks a day and cats who you need an oven mitt before serving food. I go based off them!
About: Hi! Life long animal lover. I’m a former private chef turned house sitter and currently a dog trainer student. With my children grown and a life of ease, house and pet sitting gives me exactly what I love most — purposeful connection, beautiful animals, and the privilege of caring for someone’s most important things while they’re away. I care for cats and dogs full time which allows me to be very flexible when it comes to your sitting needs. With a lifetime of experience caring for others, a professional standard built from years in hospitality and culinary arts, and a genuine love for animals that goes beyond a side hustle. As an empty nester my energy is calm, clean, and completely focused on whoever — and whatever — is in my care. No small children, no chaotic schedules, no distractions are part of my daily lifestyle. When your pets are with me they have my full attention, my full presence, and the kind of unhurried care that only comes from someone who actually wants to be there. What you can expect from me: — A hospitality-trained professional who treats your home with the same respect she’d want for her own — Consistent communication — updates, photos, and check-ins so you can actually enjoy your time away — A calm, experienced presence for animals of all temperaments — I understand animal behavior, I read energy well, and I don’t rattle easily--I'll be learning delving more into professional certified dog training and animal behaviorist soon. Did I mention that, "I love this lifestyle?" I do. — Someone who genuinely loves this — not as a gig, but as a natural extension of who I am. I pet sit full time. Therefore I'm free to travel and pet sit any hour or day. Last minute sits are welcomed. Reach out anytime. I am reliable, discreet, warm, and deeply committed to the trust you place in me when you hand over your keys. Your home and your animals will be in good hands. That’s not a promise I make lightly.

About: With a lifetime of experience growing up surrounded by animals , caring for pets has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. I truly love animals and will treat your pets with the same love, patience and attention I give my own. I am always available for them, as I work from home and have plenty of time. My pets usually hang out with me, and I make sure to take them out often and spend time playing with them and cuddling them. Depending on the weather, I can set up a doggy pool or a water fountain for them to enjoy. I can also give them baths if needed or requested, provided the pup is comfortable with it. I have a fenced yard and two super friendly dogs to keep your pet company. If needed, I can crate your pet as well. Your pet will feel right at home —I love animals and will make sure they have a great time.
“Shirlette took care of my cat Topaz over the holidays. I’m so thankful she was available! She kept me updated on how my cat was doing while I was away. I’ll definitely book her again in the future!”

“Angie did an absolute amazing job with my 2 pups. She was very communicative and was a great sitter. She was very patient, and was able to handle any inconvenience well. I highly recommend Angie and look forward to booking her regularly.”

“Desdrianneja was an amazing sitter, especially for taking such a last minute booking. Holiday travel plans changed and we ended up not having someone available. She took our booking at the absolute last minute and didn’t even bat an eye. She was punctual on check-ins with our cats, and went out of her way to keep an eye on our shyer cat who likes to hide. She helped clean up litter boxes and trash on her way on and overall was a perfect fit. Would book again.”

I'm comfortable caring for: • Puppies and kittens • Senior pets • Large and small breeds • Anxious or shy pets • High-energy dogs • Pets with medical conditions • Pets recovering from hospitalization and surgery (following veterinarian instructions) Whether we're going for a walk, playing, sticking to a medication schedule, or simply spending time together, I make sure every pet receives individualized care and plenty of love. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school, so getting exposure to helping owners is one of my biggest passions. I treat every pet like they're family while giving you peace of mind that they're in knowledgeable, caring hands. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I work as a veterinary technician and genuinely enjoy spending my free time with animals. I'm available after work on weekdays and have greater flexibility on my days off for walks and drop-in visits. I make it a priority to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps pets comfortable and maintains their usual routine. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. “Stephanie was so wonderful with my dogs. She was very communicative and sent pictures and let me know everything she was doing. It’s so appreciated when you leave your babies at home with someone new. She also left my home probably cleaner than I left it which was very sweet and thoughtful. I would definitely use Stephanie again.”

“Molly was very communicative and loving with my pup! She handled lots of medicines like a champ. I’m so grateful to Molly for looking after my girl while I was out of town.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and spent 6 summers working as a competitive dog trainer, where I had the opportunity to work with dogs of all different personalities, breeds, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dogs, understand their individual needs, and build trust with them through patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement. I grew up with dogs in my family and have always loved how naturally friendly, loving, and fun they are to be around. Now that I live in Houston away from my friends, family, and the dogs I grew up with, Rover feels like the perfect way to bring dogs back into my life while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced, caring hands. Whether your dog wants a long walk, some playtime, lots of cuddles, or simply a comfortable companion while you’re away, I’d love to spend time with them! I work full-time in Houston, so I’m typically available for dog sitting, walks, and drop-ins during evenings and on weekends. My schedule can vary a bit depending on work, but I’m happy to plan ahead and coordinate around your dog’s routine. I’m especially interested in weekend stays and sitting opportunities, but I also have flexibility for evening walks and drop-ins when I’m in town. I travel occasionally, so I keep my availability calendar updated and will always communicate my schedule clearly in advance. I’m looking forward to filling my free time with some four-legged friends! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My years of competitive dog training taught me how to read body language, recognize when a dog is uncomfortable or overstimulated, and adjust my approach to each dog’s personality and needs. I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication routines to walks, house rules, and anything else that helps your dog feel at home. I also understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, so I’ll communicate consistently, provide updates while you’re away, and treat your space with the same care and respect I would my own. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
“We had an excellent experience with Julie. She took great care of our dog and our home! She sent us many photos throughout the week to let us know how our pup was doing. She went above and beyond for us while we were away. Highly recommend her!!”

“Marissa did an awesome job watching our elderly dog who needed some extra attention. She left our house spotless and communicated regularly before and during her stay. Looking forward to having her watch our dog again in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northeast
Ashley was an amazing dog sitter, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she gave Cowboy while we were away for a week. She was very communicative throughout our trip and sent several photos and videos of Cowboy. During the week, Cowboy started having a breathing issue, and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. Because she used to be a vet tech, she knew it wasn’t just something to shrug off and hope he gets better. She reached out to a veterinarian friend for a second opinion and, at our request, took Cowboy to his regular vet to have him checked out. It meant so much to us knowing that Cowboy was with someone like Ashley. We would absolutely trust her with Cowboy again and highly recommend her to anyone!
