I am genuinely so impressed with the care Max gave Athena. Athena is my 4-pound Chihuahua, so I’m very particular about who I trust with her. From the moment I met Max, I could tell that he has a real love for animals. It’s not just that he knows how to take care of dogs, he genuinely wants them to be happy, comfortable, and feel at home. He treats the dogs in his care like they are his own, and that really shows. Athena warmed up to him so quickly, which honestly surprised me in the best way. There was something about the way he interacted with her that immediately made her feel comfortable. He has such a natural way with dogs that I jokingly call him a dog whisperer! 🐶❤️ I was also very impressed by how attentive he was to Athena’s individual needs. Being only 4 pounds, she is tiny, so I really appreciated how gentle and mindful he was with her. He respected her boundaries, paid attention to her body language, and made sure she had a calm and comfortable environment. You can tell that he genuinely cares about understanding the animals he takes care of rather than simply watching them. His home is also wonderful for dogs. He has a very spacious home and a huge, fully fenced backyard with beautiful, well kept grass and trees that provide plenty of shade. Athena had plenty of room to move around, explore, and enjoy herself while still having a comfortable environment to relax in. His communication was another thing I really appreciated. He kept me updated throughout her stay and sent pictures and videos, which gave me such peace of mind. I loved seeing Athena happy and comfortable throughout the day. When Athena came home, I was genuinely impressed by how calm and content she was. She seemed so comfortable and happy, and I even noticed positive changes in her behavior. I truly feel like her time with Max had a positive impact on her. That is what makes me feel so confident booking with him again. I’m not just looking for someone who can watch my dog. I want someone who genuinely cares about her happiness and well being, and Max absolutely gave me that confidence. I will DEFINITELY be booking with Max again, and I will absolutely be telling my friends and family about him. I feel like I found someone special on Rover, and I’m so grateful Athena had such a wonderful experience. If you want someone who will love and care for your dog as if they were their own, Max is definitely someone I would recommend!

Angela was wonderful with Mickey! Mickey enjoyed being with her. He was very spoiled. I recommend her for boarding and plan to use her going forward.
