About: AVAILABILITY: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ALL DAY. MONDAY THUR FRIDAY: Before 8am and anytime after 4PM. I am also available for holidays as well. I am really good with animals. I have taken care all stages, young puppy to senior. I love to be active and play with them. I will also just love chilling and petting them. I have a dog myself and she is very loved. I also had another dog when I was married and he's a husky/lab mix so I can handle stubborn breeds. My dog is feed twice a day. And she goes outside right after eating and a couple times in between and once more before bed.
“Very easy to coordinate and communicate. Leslie sends informative updates and photos. Dogs were well taken care of. Absolutely my go to sitter. The layout of the house is very dog friendly. They settled in quickly and had the whole house to themselves. Leslie is amazing to go extra mile to create home away from home replicating all home conditions for dogs.”

“Fanny and her family were great! They sent constant updates and pictures throughout my dogs stay with them. I will definitely be using them again in the future!”

“Karen was very responsive, sent me pictures of the stay, and my Oscar was a happy camper with her. Thank you again for squeezing me in short notice! I appreciate it!!”

“Deisy is AMAZING!!! She was so accommodating when I had a sitter cancel on me AFTER I had already dropped off and left for vacation. She took in Charlie, my senior pup, while I was away and put my mind back at ease so I could enjoy my trip. Thank you Deisy!!”

“Charlie was so well looked after. He had lots of fun playing in the backyard and soaking up cuddles on the couch. We felt he was in very safe and loving hands over the weekend, which is so important when leaving the city. We received regular updates and had no issues at all during our booking. We would definitely book Marine and Brent again.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, with experience caring for large dogs, cats, and even horses. Most recently, I cared for my own pup through every stage of life—from energetic puppyhood to their senior years. They passed due to old age, so I’m very familiar with the special care older pets may need, including administering medications on a strict schedule and assisting with mobility. Currently, it’s just me in my home and there are no pets. While I’m not quite ready to adopt again after my loss, caring for others’ pets feels like a meaningful way to share the love and attention I still have to give. I work from home, so I’m here throughout the day to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. My home is a single-story house with no stairs—ideal for senior pets—and a large, secure backyard for safe outdoor time. Inside, there are big picture windows that let in plenty of natural light and give pets lots to look at and enjoy. I understand how stressful it can be to travel and leave your pet behind. Because of that, I’m very mindful of communication and peace of mind. I’m happy to schedule video calls so you can check in, see how your pet is doing, and even talk to them anytime you’d like. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my top priority. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home full-time. I’m home throughout the day to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, meals, medication administration, playtime, and companionship. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily accommodate specific routines, feeding times, or medication schedules—especially for senior pets who need extra attention. Because I don’t have other pets and live alone, your pet receives my full focus in a calm, predictable environment, both during the week and on weekends. I prioritize a calm, safe, and attentive environment at all times. In my home, there are currently no other pets and it’s just me, which allows me to give one-on-one care and close supervision. My home is a single-story layout with no stairs, making it ideal for senior pets or those with mobility needs, and I have a large, secure backyard for safe outdoor time. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication timing, potty breaks, and activity levels. I’m experienced with administering medications and providing extra assistance for older pets when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and committed to maintaining the pet’s familiar routine to reduce stress. I provide regular updates, photos, and video calls upon request so owners can check in and feel confident their pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. My goal is always to create a secure, loving environment that gives both pets and owners peace of mind.
“I cannot say enough good things about Melanie & Sam. They took our pup on short notice and treated her like one of their own. Not to mention the updates and pictures not only made us laugh, but reassured us that our girl was well taken care of. We will definitely be using them again.”

“Isabella is amazing! I reached out to her last minute and she accommodated my husky for the weekend. She really got to know him, and kept me updated the whole time I was away. She really has a way with pets! I would recommend her again and again, and I will be coming back to her when I need a sitter in the future! Thank you Isabella!”

“Alexis was an amazing last minute dog sitter after my prior plans with another sitter fell through. Moose was immediately happy to see her and ready to go spend the weekend his weekend away from home. Got daily updates/pics annd always knew he was getting plenty of love/attention. Would recommend 10/10.”

North dog parents share their Rover experiences
This is the first time I've ever used Rover and it couldn't have been better! I was aprehensive about leaving my dog Chloe with someone besides family but after a few minutes at the meet and greet, I knew I'd have nothing to worry about. Chloe can be nervous and won't let new people approach and pet her, but by day 2 she was already seeking belly rubs and they were hanging out together. Gabby understood Chloe's needs and knew the way to build trust is to give her space and not try to force her to be touched, it's usually difficult for people to respect this because they want to pet the dog, but i felt completely reassured about how Gabby handled the introduction. Her place is open plan which creates quite a large inside space which felt calm, clean, bright and clutter free. She also has her own fenced backyard so I'm confident chloe got all the bathroom breaks she needed. I also got daily updates with a photo each time showing chloe lounging somewhere having the staycation of her life, it's agreed she's a diva. I'll be booking again for all my remaining trips this year if she is available! Thank you Gabby! 🐶

Anita was absolutely amazing with our dog while we were away for our honeymoon. She went above and beyond in every way, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. She made sure he was well taken care of daily — taking him on walks, feeding him properly, giving him his vitamins, and even bathing him. What really stood out was her attention to detail and how much she genuinely cared. She noticed our dog had fleas and took the initiative to remove them and address the issue right away, which we really appreciated. On top of that, she shared helpful tips with us to keep him healthy and comfortable moving forward. It’s clear she treats the dogs she cares for like her own. Because of Anita, we were able to fully relax and enjoy our honeymoon without worrying. We came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and truly caring!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog, Flint! Jacob took such wonderful care of him while we were away, and Flint clearly had a great time. From the moment we dropped him off, Jacob made us feel completely at ease with his warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for dogs. He sent daily updates, so we never had to wonder how Flint was doing. Flint came home happy and tired (in the best way). Jacob went above and beyond. It’s clear he truly enjoys spending time with the dogs in his care, and Flint loved him. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and fun who will treat your pet like family, Jacob is the one. Thank you, Jacob—you made leaving Flint so much easier knowing he was in such great hands!

Brittainny was amazing with Zoey! She took the time to learn Zoey’s routine and made sure she felt comfortable and loved while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and I could tell Zoey was happy and well cared for the whole time. I’ll definitely book with Brittainny again!

Erik was great with our high energy puppy, Theo! He took him on long walks, played fetch and sent messages and photos during their time together. We felt reassured our pup was in good hands, while we were away! Erik also has an active lifestyle, so that was in line with the energy needs of our dog.
