About: I've been a doggy mom for over 40 years, including large breeds, Terriers, and my last pup was a Skipperke I found in the forest. I've learned much from our furry friends: Most of all, a well-exercised dog is a calmer, more relaxed and dependable dog. Unfortunately, our hectic lives with crazy work schedules, demanding family times, and even illness can cut into the time we'd love to spend outdoors, exercising (with) our fur partners. If life is in the way of doing right by Fido, let me help by providing time for sniffs and tail-wagging strolls. From short (30 mins) walks to 3+ hour nature outings (weather permitting), once per week or more, your pup will love his/her time outside. (leashed only, public dog parks only with social dogs, longer outings include car transport to parks). Drop-in house visits for repeat customers only, where I know the dog and they know me. I'm available Monday - Friday, on the weekend with special arrangements, and on most holidays for daily, twice-weekly, or weekly walks with your furry friend. Texas weather isn't always paw-friendly. Walk routes and distances will be adjusted to the individual pets' ability, temperature, and overall weather conditions. Leashed walks only, longer outings to parks and trails may require a car ride in the back seat and buckled in for safety. Visits to dog parks for social dogs only, with owner consent.

About: I volunteer in animal rescue shelters, so I’ve been around all kinds of pets. I also nursed a parvo puppy until the virus went away. I’m a pre-vet college student from Monday through Thursday, but I’m free during weekends to care of your fur babies. I usually walk large dogs from shelters, so I have experience with dog walking. I know all dogs are different, so I’ll make sure your pet isn’t over exercising. I also know bloating can happen, so I am cautious of how much water and food they’re consuming.

I am currently not working but I previously worked for Houston 911 for 4 years and then began working at a Chiropractic clinic for 5 years. I am taking time for myself and traveling more. I have returned to Houston and have plenty of time to spend with both dogs and cats as it’s a passion of mines. I have a fenced house, front yard, and backyard for my fur babies Charlie and Ryder. They are very playful and love being around other dogs. I am also able to separate them in different areas of the houses if your fur babies do not like to be with other dogs.

About: I've kept pets - from birds to dogs - for 38 years. Both of my current canines came from shelters: a 45lb mixed-breed (Nero) and a 10lb Pomeranian (Julius) who just turned 15. Nero was a handful when we brought him home, and getting him where he is today took patience and a lot of studying - training videos, articles, and experience. That's shaped how I handle dogs: calm, consistent, unhurried. I'm comfortable with leash pullers, giving medication, etc. I have a flexible schedule, so, even if a day and/or time isn't listed, reach out and I'll see if I can make it work! Dogs relax around people who are predictable, so that's what I aim to be. When I arrive I give your dog a moment to greet me and settle rather than rushing straight into things, and I take a quick look around to make sure nothing seems off in the house. Before we head out I check the harness or collar fit - a loose harness on a startled dog is the one thing I never want to be wrong about. On walks, your dog stays leashed. No dog parks unless you ask for it and I think your dog would actually enjoy it. I'm careful at doors and gates coming and going (I assume every dog is a door-dasher until I know otherwise). The route belongs to the dog. An anxious or reactive dog gets quiet streets and plenty of space from other dogs. A senior gets a shorter, slower loop with time to stop. In summer, I check the pavement with my hand before we walk on it. On drop-ins, I provide fresh water, food, and medication as instructed, potty breaks, and cleanup if there's an accident (it happens). Happy to grab mail or packages while I'm there. You'll hear from me after every visit, and I'll tell you right away if something seems off. I keep your vet's number and an emergency contact with me. I always treat your home, keys, codes, and schedule as private.
