Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. Between my studies in architecture and staying active, I make time each day to walk, feed, and play with my own pets two cats and three Maine Coons. Caring for animals keeps me grounded and gives structure to my day. I love starting mornings with walks or playtime and checking in on pets throughout the day to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. On weekends, I’m usually outdoors or spending extra time with my pets, which makes adding client visits or walks fit perfectly into my schedule. Being around animals isn’t a chore for me it’s something that keeps my days joyful, balanced, and full of good energy.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, their safety and comfort always come first. I make sure every environment is clean, calm, and free from hazards from securing doors and gates to keeping personal items and food safely out of reach. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I give my own. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules, and keep consistent communication so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for. I also take time to build trust with each animal letting them approach at their own pace, observing their body language, and ensuring they always feel safe and understood. My goal is to create a familiar, stress-free experience that keeps pets happy and owners worry-free.

Before caring for any pet, I like to know as much as possible about their personality, routine, and needs. This helps me make sure they’re comfortable and that their day goes smoothly. I usually ask about: 🕒 Daily routine — feeding times, walk schedules, nap habits, etc. 🩺 Health or medical needs — allergies, medications, or mobility issues. 🐾 Behavioral traits — how they react to strangers, other animals, or loud noises. 🎾 Favorite things — toys, treats, games, or comfort items that make them happy. 🚪 House rules — areas they can or can’t go, furniture boundaries, and training preferences.
A typical day
A typical day with me is filled with activity, attention, and affection. I start the day with fresh food, water, and some quality playtime whether bfthat’s tossing a ball, going for a morning walk, or giving cats their favorite interactive toys. For dogs, I love taking long walks or jogs in safe, shaded areas, letting them explore new scents and enjoy being outdoors. For cats, I make time for gentle play, grooming, or just keeping them company while they lounge and purr. Throughout the day, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, mental stimulation, and breaks to rest comfortably. In the evenings, I focus on winding things down with calm time cuddles, quiet companionship, and sticking to their bedtime routine so they feel relaxed and secure. Every day is tailored to each pet’s personality some love adventure, others prefer cozy naps but all of them get patience, love, and care from start to finish.

Animals have always been a big part of my life — I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of pets, from rabbits and turtles to macaws, cats, and dogs. Beyond that, I’ve also spent time caring for cattle, which taught me patience, consistency, and respect for animals of all sizes. As an architecture student, I’m detail-oriented, responsible, and observant — qualities that carry over into how I care for every pet I meet. I’m also very active and love spending time outdoors, making me a great fit for energetic dogs who need long walks, playtime, or just a good adventure. What sets me apart is my genuine connection with animals and my ability to adapt to their personalities whether that means keeping up with a playful puppy, giving extra attention to a senior pet, or maintaining routines that keep them comfortable and happy.

Fernanda was amazing! Good communication and great with Bentley.
Fernanda was friendly and good with our dog when she actually met and walked our dog. But my issue is scheduling, she accepted the booking for the times requested but canceled one walk the day of for a night walk and changed the time for the next morning walk at the last minute, it was too late for us to find another walker. We had to ask a favor to a friend who didn’t live nearby to cover and our dog had no walks for over 10 hours which can lead to accidents in the house.
Fernanda is wonderful! She’s clearly a natural with dogs. Our pup, Penny, had the best time on their first walk and even got a little extra exploration time in. :) It’s a relief to find someone so dedicated and fun. Highly recommend!
