“Mixie and her daughter did a great job with Bear. I received updates with pictures and videos. I'm very happy with the care she provided and will 100% recommend and use her again. Thank you!”

“Deanna is a great dog sitter, she truly loves animals. When we dropped my dog off at her apartment, my dog didn't even look back when we left. I felt very confident leaving my baby with her. We have used Deanna 4-5 times and never worry that our pet is being well cared for.”

“Vicki is great!! My cat was spayed a couple weeks before she stayed with Vicki and was having some GI issues. I felt nervous about finding a someone that would be willing to take her with the vomiting and diarrhea but Vicki was more than happy to help. She was very watchful of Rosie’s progress and made appropriate suggestions about her medications. We needed to leave her with Vicki for an extra night and Vicki was accommodating about that as well. I will DEFINITELY be working with Vicki again and suggest you all stop reading this review and sign your pets up as well! Thank you again Vicki!!”

“We are so fortunate to have found Claire! She took such sweet care of our girl while we were gone and proactively provided updates and photos. Our dog is typically so nervous away from home that she doesn’t eat well, and she seems to have felt right at home with Claire. We will certainly be reaching out to her first for any future trips!”

“Amy was absolutely amazing! She was available last minute for a 4-day stay and was so accommodating. She took such great care of my two pugs — making sure they got plenty of walks, attention, and love. I really appreciated all the videos and pictures she sent throughout the stay 🥰 it gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend her! 🐾💜”

“Kimberly is wonderful! She was able to give my diabetic cat his shots each day. My two cats were very afraid to be in a strange environment but she made special accommodations to settle them in and they calmed down. I'll be boarding them with her again!”

“Great sitter. Left my dogs with her for two days, and she took amazing care of them. They were loved and cared for, and she kept me updated with pictures during their stay.”

“Nikki was great with my dog, Asher! She was really attentive to his medical needs and made sure he was well taken care of the whole time. Her communication was also really good. She kept me updated and was easy to reach, which I really appreciated. She even sent me videos of some of his stay with her! (Normally I just get pics but she went ABOVE AND BEYOND) Overall it was such a smooth experience and I felt comfortable knowing Asher was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“I cannot recommend her enough! She took such great care of my puppy and treated him like her own. She was incredibly kind and communicative, sending me pictures and updates throughout the stay so I always knew he was happy and safe. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I will absolutely be rebooking with her!”

“Beatriz and her husband were the best at taking care of my little furry baby. They definitely made her feel like home and she was so happy when I picked her up. I would definitely recommend everyone to book with her.”

“Mya was absolutely incredible. I can tell her love for pups. I was taking my baby to a kennel but he would always be so scared so I knew I needed to change to somewhere more like him. I’m so glad I chose Mya. She sent me so many pictures and I could tell in the pictures he definitely had a great time. Thank you so so much. Will be bringing Crown back.”

“Iryna is a wonderful host for your little friends when you travel. My little Rat Terrier Ziggy just loves staying with her. Book your next pet stay with Iryna — you won’t be disappointed!”

“Dustin is the best! Dependable and my boy Skip is comfortable staying with him! Seamless drop off and pick up. We will definitely book with Dustin again.”

“Miranda and Boula have been so good to my puppy Riley. I used to work double shifts every weekend and every weekend for a few months actually they watched and cared for him as if he were their own. They send pictures, daily updates & are relaxed & flexible. I’m so grateful for the role they have played in helping me raise my dog. Whenever he is with them I know he’s in good hands. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Perfection. Met Lorraine and Lisa and I knew instantly this was going to work. She loved her time there. Great communication with L. Sent pictures. Was flexible with our drop off and pick up. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. In fact, going to see her availability right after I post this review.”
“Radica took great care of our dog! She sent regular updates and photos and our pup return happy and rested to our home. Communication is great and she’s flexible with pick-up/ drop-off times.”

“MooMoo loved her stay! Played so much with her new pittie friend! Owners were very responsive and sent lots of videos and pics. Would highly recommend”

“Nathalya is the greatest! My two kitties were in such good hands while we were gone. This was our first time booking a sitter for them and so my partner and I initially were nervous and hesitant but she made it so easy! We are so grateful and will definitely be booking her again in the future :) thank you again!!!”

“Sherry is wonderful! She took great care of cat while I was gone. Great communication. Kept me up to date every day. She's so sweet. I will absolutely use her again”

“As always, Deanna was awesome with our two kitties. She was very accommodating with our sudden change in schedule. She takes really good care of our home and our fur babies.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for about nine years, from everyday companionship and care to raising a litter of three kittens. I’m comfortable with cats of different personalities and needs, and I genuinely enjoy giving them the patience, attention, and affection they deserve.
“Miranda is very reliable and consistent is checking in on my cat and sending me updates. She's also notices little changes, like one of my car's tires looks low, and lets me know so I'm not completely surprised when I get home. I appreciate that!”

“This is our second time asking Shiela to watch our cat and she came in with all the knowledge and confidence needed to help wrangle her and keep her fed, entertained, and medicated”

“Ishamar watched our cats for three days. She went above and beyond with pictures and videos. Our cats, who are normally a little shy with strangers, immediately were interested in attention from Ishamar! We felt very comforted during our travels knowing the cats really seemed to instantly love our sitter. Thank you Ishamar for taking care of our fur babies.”

“I almost don’t want to recommend her because I want her to be able to take care of my kitties whenever I need help ☺️ she has also warmed up to my second kitty which makes me really happy.”

About: Hi! Truth be told, I used to be scared of cats, but my friends are all cat lovers! I started greeting and caring for their kitties and then wanted one of my own. As a first time cat-owner, I wanted to make sure I could provide for them, so I started off spending every weekend (and weekday, if needed) volunteering at the cattery! I've been super attentive too, flagging concerns for any cats who needed to go to the vet and may have been overlooked from all the playtime. A lot of felines have come and gone, and I've resisted the urge to bring all of them home. I also got involved with TNR since there was a 3-time mom in our backyard. I ended up taking her runt and becoming a first time foster (maybe fail?) mom! Six months later, I now have two boys and still help at the local cattery and petsit for other fosters when they travel. So whether you need someone to help your cat get their zoomies out, stay clean, or just a quick check-in, I'm more than happy to drop by!
“Alayna is the best!! She treats my cat like he’s her own and always sends me the best pictures of my sweet Ennis!!❤️ would highly recommend to anyone needing a pet sitter”

“We had a great experience with Cheyenne! She was extremely responsive, very professional, and sent the cutest, highest-quality photos of my dogs during each visit. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend her for drop-in visits!”

“Kara did a great job caring for our 3 cats twice a day. She spent time playing with them and would send pictures and videos each day. She was prompt, easy to work with, communicative and cared about the cats. I highly recommend Kara.”

“Coming up on a year of Junie going to Michael for regular daycare. Still wonderful! His pups are her best friends and she’s very excited to head out from home in the morning.”

“Our puppy had such a great time at daycare. He loved getting to play with the other dogs, and it was so reassuring to receive lots of photo and video updates throughout the day. Miranda and Paula are wonderful. They clearly care about the dogs and made sure our pup was happy and having fun. We really appreciated the great communication!”

About: I've been dog sitting and walking since 2018, caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and needs—including senior dogs, disabled dogs, and pups with allergies. I love getting to know each dog's personality, quirks, and routine so they feel comfortable while their people are away. Whether your dog is full of energy or just wants a buddy to hang out with, they'll get plenty of love, attention, and care from Auntie. 🐾 Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have the flexibility to work around your pet's needs. Walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, belly rubs, couch cuddles, snack reminders (for the humans too 😅)—I'm here for it. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible so they're happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I know how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet. I'll take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special needs before care begins. Whether they're a senior pup, need medication, have allergies, or just need a little extra patience, they'll be cared for like family.
“Really great experience! She was able to take care of my poodle last minute. She sent dozens of pictures and took him on a lot of walks. He came back pooped and happy!”

“Celia took great care of my dog Tex! She sent videos and pictures and kept me updated on all things. My dog had a wonderful time and felt right at home immediately! Looking forward to having Tex stay with her again!”

About: I have pet sat and dog walked for friends and family since I can remember - all sizes and ages of pets. I come from an incredibly caring family of animal lovers and we've all adopted and rescued at some point in our lives and shared our experiences of individual pet behaviors. I understand that unwalked or lonely pets can be difficult to raise with excess energy that has no outlet, so if I can help by breaking up their day a little, I'd love to help you out. I can drop in to keep them company, feed and play with them. I can take them for walks locally and treat them when we get home. I only take a few bookings a day so I can be more attentive to those pets, so they feel valued, rested and happy and not rushed in and out. About me: I'm an outgoing finance professional with more time on my hands recently and looking for more life balance and fresh air! I fit walks into my day around other commitments to help break up the day. Its good to get away from the desk for some air. It depends on the client. With high value dogs clients prefer that I stay on their property, so I've ensured that we have their favorite toy available to play fetch for 30 mins! For others, I ensure I have a safe walking route from the home and we take our water and poop bags and we walk fast or slow depending on the age and ability of the dog.

About: Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency throughout the day. I’m available for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and whatever else your pup needs to feel comfortable. As a dog mom who raised and trained my own pup from 4 months old, I understand the patience and consistency dogs need. Whether your pup is playful and energetic or prefers a calmer environment, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I provide care in a quiet, cozy environment that works especially well for dogs who enjoy a more relaxed setting. I keep a close eye on the dogs in my care and do not allow strangers into my home during boarding or daycare. For boarding and daycare, I only accept dogs who are CRATE TRAINED and have their own crate available for their stay. Your dog does not have to spend the day in their crate. Crates are primarily used when needed for safety, sleeping, feeding, brief periods when I cannot directly supervise, or to give your pup a familiar place to decompress. PLEASE BRING YOUR DOG’S CRATE AT DROP-OFF unless we’ve discussed other arrangements. “Kimberly was amazing with my doggy! She was caring, reliable, and kept me updated which gave me so much peace of mind! :) Zoey was happy and well cared for 🤍”

About: What sets me apart is the personal attention, patience, and genuine care I give to every pet. I treat each animal as if they were my own and take the time to understand their unique personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages and energy levels, including playful puppies and senior pets who may need extra patience and attention. I’m also happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special requests from owners. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. I go to college on Mondays and Wednesday one hour, and come back. Then I am always in my house. Your pets will be in great hands. I have a fenced yard, it’s quite big for the dogs to run around, well go for walks in the quiet and green neighborhood. Your dogs are going to be safe at all times.
“Lily did great with our Lucy! She sent a lot of pictures and even a video. We will definitely use her again and certainly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care.”

“Burak was so fantastic with my dog! He was a wonderful communicator and sent plenty of photos and updates. He administered my dog’s medicine and went above and beyond to care my dog.”

“This was my first time using Rover and will definitely not be my last. I choose Claudia because first, she lives close by and second, her high star reviews. And man, they weren’t kidding. Claudia has been exceptional with this whole process esp for a first time user. But the most important aspect was her attentiveness to Duke, my frenchie pup. Duke is six months old and is very active. I was afraid his “energetic” personality would deter her from watching my dog but it didn’t at all. She was very understanding of his needs as a pup and assured me that everything will be okay. She took the time to get to know Duke during our “meet-and-greet” and after that, it was smooth sailing from there. She sent me pics during his stay and kept him entertained which is important to a very curious pup. Altogether, I was very pleased with Claudia and would highly recommend her for your next Rover experience.”

“My dog had such a great time with Beatrice and her dogs! My dog was very anxious and shy upon arrival, but she made sure Buttercup felt welcomed in her home! She got to play and cuddle with the other pups and I look forward to working with her again in the future! ☺️”

“Brooke and her husband did a great job taking care of Toshi! She sent multiple pictures of Toshi playing with the other dogs in day care and he looked so happy! He came home very happy too and tired from a long day of playing! I’ll definitely book again!”

“Mae is wonderful. Not only is she patient to build the relationship with dogs, she is also very communicative. I was updated frequently, and it is relieving to see she gets along with my dogs very well. I highly recommend Mae!!”

About: I’m Malasia. I have a 4 year old mini poodle I’ve had since 7months. I absolutely love dogs! If your dog sniffs me first, I’m definitely gonna ask to pet! I work from home as a data analyst and I often take care of my friends dogs (a large m German Shepard/pit mix and a f toy poodle). Along with my dog, it’s an interesting and fun mix. I’m also familiar with giving prescription meds if needed. The gs/pit mix suffers from seizures but I roll his meds in a cheese ball on time twice a day everytime:) he loves it and takes it well. The little toy poodle is very much an inside dog, she will go for a walk, but at home she has a pottyloo. When she is with me her owners bring potty pads. She uses them well like the little lady she is, but she used to miss the pad when she was younger. All the that to say no worries on pad trained pups! I got it! No worries on pups that need to take meds either! As for my dog, he’s a little anxious. Everything makes him jump but I find that just making him sit and breathe and understand he’s safe works. He's really playful though so once he warms up to you he won’t leave you alone. I work from home so I can care for pets throughout the day. Usually take my own outside around 9am, 1pm, 7pm, midnight. And he eats right after we come back inside. I love playing with dogs so we will do that and maybe some easy training for treats. Usually bed time right after midnight Closed door tidy home. My dog loves eating my toilet paper when I’m gone or not paying attention and he’s just generally nosey. So I make sure to double check everything and close doors. There is also a dog park on site. Dogs can potty there. Dogs will sleep in my room as well. My dog is crate trained but likes to venture under the bed sometimes. Please bring whatever your dog is comfortable sleeping with
“We were out of town and our grandma was staying at our house who is unable to walk our dog. Tony did an excellent job taking care of our dog coming over to walk once a day for two weeks. He is very dependable and has excellent communication! Would recommend.”

About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to pitbulls to Great Danes. My father is an owner of 4 cats which I also have experience taking care of. One of his former cats was disabled with feline AIDS so I also have experience handling and administering oral medication. I’ve even worked in an emergency vet hospital as a scribe and know how to identify signs of illness and where to take them should something go wrong (knock on wood). My whole life I have been a lover of all animals and I do my best to stay educated on animal safety and body language. I mainly take freelance jobs so I can take jobs any time between the hours of 11am and 10pm with some exceptions if necessary for overnight bookings. I do not take in pets in my own home as I live in an apartment and other dogs and owners can be unpredictable. I can take your dog on walks, feed them, and cuddle or play with them or let them rest in their own space! Let me know their quirks and I will work with them as best I can!

About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. From dogs and cats to the unexpected personalities in between, I provide attentive, reliable, and loving care. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I understand that having someone stay in your home with your pet requires a high level of trust. I’m responsible, attentive, and comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. My goal would be to make your absence feel as normal as possible for your pet while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I would keep their routine as consistent as possible—following feeding, medication, potty, exercise, and play schedules while giving them plenty of companionship and attention. I’d also respect the client’s home by keeping things clean, securing doors/gates, and providing regular updates so they know their pet is safe and happy.
“Brianna was so amazing! She was very communicative and took such great care of my boys. Her rover cards had such great information and so many photos. I would 100% use Brianna again!”

“Molly was great with my dog Milo and treated him very well. She was punctual and followed all my instructions about Milo, and was great at responding to messages. Will be booking with her again!”

“She is awesome ! She took care of our dog and was very responsible , knowledgeable and always available and willing to help ! We left Houston and I hope to find someone good as her to take care of our dog in our new city !!”

About: Hi there! I've grown up with dogs since I was 7 years old and currently have my own Dobermann along with my family's senior Maltese mix and senior Poodle mix at my family's home. If I could foster or adopt more, I would! However, I would love to extend my availability to help folx who need a bit of a helping hand to care for their furry ones. My Dobermann has been through several training courses, so I often introduce basics to dogs I meet, including my friends' furbabies. I also help with my friend's Husky when they're busy, so I'm used to caring for dogs of any size and know the importance of following any regiment you have in place for them! For a more wagging tailored experience of care for your pets, I would love to connect-- more than happy to do an initial meet to ensure your pup feels safe. I'm currently in between jobs and work in an industry that operates on remote work. Therefore, I can work from anywhere to take a break to stop by and even go on a walk. I'm also fond of going to different coffee shops throughout Houston and can take your pup along if you would like for them to be out and about every once in a while. I bounce back and forth between the Galleria area and Humble/Northeast Houston, so I'm open to clients all over Greater Houston. I can easily crate your pup if need be and have been to several dog parks (if you're okay with them). I've worked on being able to identify body language between dogs to determine whether they are getting to know each other or if we need to separate from others right away. Routines are also great, and I am more than happy to follow any regiments pet parents have for their dog(s)-- including integrating training throughout everyday (not just training sessions), meal times, walk/potty times, or even designated play times.

About: My dog is 9 years old and I have fostered and pet sat for various breeds a couple years prior. I’m used to a schedule and caring for puppies/adults. My training skills are basic and am good at positive reinforcement. My schedule is moderately active, so I’m ready for countless walks and play time. My job is hybrid with 3 days in office, so my schedule is pretty flexible and am only gone for about 6 hours during office days. I’m available most weekends as well. During the work week/work hours I can walk dogs in/around the River Oaks area or my surrounding area of where I’m located. I am open to driving past my 5 mile radius with an additional charge of $1 per mile. I also accept bookings within a 12 hour time period for an additional cost. I have a small fenced patio, and my dog is well trained and not reactive. I have a pretty spacious apartment that will allow room for a crate if provided. My dog isn’t on a strict schedule; he gets 2 meals a day and min 3 walks a day.

She’s so kind and I knew from the moment we first met at our meet and greet she and her sweet family would be the right fit for Teddy especially since Teddy and their dog, Branston hit it off so well. I’m so grateful for the daily updates with pictures and videos. It helped us relax knowing he was having such a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tiffany as a pet sitter, she’s truly a gem and I’m so grateful to have found her on Rover. We’re looking forward to Teddy’s next stay!”

“We left our fur baby with Lily for a week and it was a wonderful experience. Her communication is top notch and sends several pictures daily. Our fur baby was so happy when we picked her up. Lily is officially our dog sitter.”

“Lauren was very kind and sweet to my babies! Always kept me in the loop and let me know how well they did with Betty. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Pepper had an extended stay with Noel. He sent lots of pics throughout, kept me updated on how she was doing, and she came home tired and happy. Noel always responds very quickly and gives Pepper plenty of time outside to chase down squirrels in the big backyard. Thank-you!”

“Calli always has the best time when she stays with Alexandra. She comes home and has to sleep all the fun off for two days. Great communicator. Sends lots of updates, photos, videos. A+!”

“Leslie did a wonderful job! She kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which made us feel so comfortable knowing our pup was safe and having fun. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Phenomenal!!!! Larry took such great care of our dogs while we were away! We loved the daily photos and play date updates. Larry paid special attention to our older dog (13 years old) since he gets a bit anxious when we're not around. Our young pup (1.5 years old) had so much fun playing with new friends and being rowdy in Larry's awesome backyard! Both dogs came home from a great week of adventures! Thank you, Larry!”
“Rikki was very easy to communicate with. She provided updates and videos to ease my mind. It was an easy transition to dropping Aloo off to picking him back up. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again if need to board Aloo.”

“I’m SO thankful for the care of my babies!! I got daily check ins with pictures and access to communication. I was super nervous using the Rover app for my first time, but this was an amazing experience!!”
