Can't recommend Jennifer enough! She walks my mini schnauzer, Betty, two days a week and I love getting on the Furbo and seeing Betty relaxed and passed out after their walks. Also appreciate the quality pictures Jennifer takes during their walks, it makes me happy knowing she's being looked after so well while I'm at work!

Claire was my first experience using Rover and a very positive one. I’ll be sure to contact her first next time I need help. She did a meet and greet the day before and then mmm took my dog for two one hour walks the same day and gave a medicated shampoo bath to a new rescue. Fast response time, great communication, and confident around dogs.

About: I have been a dog lover since I can remember, I worked with all kinds of pets. I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old, and will continue to do it for as long as I can. I will walk with your furry bestfriend, follow feeding schedules, follow bathroom breaks, practice and training you ask for, play fetch, give unlimited belly rubs whenever needed, also I will help them get out of their shell and become more of the furry friend you know and love. I am available weekends, holidays, afternoon weekdays as well. House sitting, drop-ins, walks, vet visits, and anything that makes your fury best friend live better I will help in everything I can. Looking forward to meeting all the dog lover like myself. I work from home with a flexible schedule to accommodate any request and needs your pets might need. As a pet owner we know life happens and I am here to help. I have a fenced in yard, I make sure to be with the pet at all times and also make sure to spend time with them playing to give them the attention they need while their human is away and make sure they know they are loved and safe.

Got caught in a very busy day, and Ashley saved me by coming to walk the baby. She was sweet to my handicapped husband, and had an instant rapport with my little Havanese. I got photos from the walk, and I was freed to attend meetings and run errands at lunch. What a Godsend, thank you Ashley.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I would walk, feed and watch my neighbors dogs while they were away in Europe. Two very energetic and playful yellow labs. I have 2 dogs of my own. Lily is very energetic and likes to play a lot. The other, Toby, is a senior dog who likes attention. I consider them part of my family. I am currently on sabbatical. My schedule is open anytime, day or night, weekdays or weekends. Available for walking but also can be available to house sit with dogs. I follow each dog’s routine and care instructions closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own home. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special needs. Safety is always a priority — I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and I pay close attention to each dog’s well-being. I treat every home with respect and provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their dogs are in good hands.

About: Ive helped raise puppies, Ive had a mastiff, also a cat. I used to pet sit/house sit for my neighbors quite often. very comfortable with all kinds of animals. Love cats and dogs, I've also spent a lot of time with horses involved in equestrian sports. Im at home from college so I have a lot of extra time on my hands. curtly I have a part time internship where I'm never gone longer than 2-3 hours. My home is spacious and clean, no pets currently so I could keep any amount of pets at my home. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following the owner's instructions closely, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and making sure each pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I always prioritize their safety, routine, and well-being.

About: Having cared for pets since I got my first puppy at 15, and with a history of pet-sitting for families and fostering dogs of all ages, I truly understand the precious place animals hold in our hearts and their importance to our well-being. To me, they're family, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my extensive experience. Beyond general care, I have experience with puppy training and providing gentle care for seniors. You can be confident your furry friend will receive personalized attention, lots of love, and feel completely safe with me. As a teacher in Houston, my evenings and weekends are typically free, allowing me dedicated time to focus on caring for your pets. This consistent availability ensures your furry friends get the attention and routine they need. Even better, with summer vacation approaching from May 23rd to August 6th, my schedule opens up completely! I meticulously follow your routines, ensuring consistent feeding, potty breaks, and exercise. I create a calm, comfortable environment with access to their familiar comforts and remain attentive to their cues. My experience fostering diverse dogs has honed my ability to provide patient and adaptable care. Trust is crucial. I'm committed to open communication and treating your pets with the same love I have for my ,past and one day future ,own. If staying with me, they'll enjoy a dog-friendly home and plenty of outdoor activity (I loveee to walk!). With my flexible schedule as a teacher, especially during my summer break (May 23rd - August 6th), your pet will receive ample attention and supervision. About: Hi! I’m Debbie and have cared for two cocker spaniels, Duncan & Tuckie. I take great pride in making my dogs a priority in my life, including them in all that I do & treating them as members of my family! I would love to offer you my dog caring services so that you can have peace of mind that your fur baby is in loving hands! I’m available for dog walks, drop ins for feedings, boarding as well as pet sitting in my home. I do live in a condo community, and while I don’t have a fenced yard, we do have a small dog park on our property. Rest assured that your fur baby will get plenty of potty breaks and get taken on walks to get plenty of fresh air, sunshine & exercise. I work from home three days out of the week, and go into the office on Wed & Thurs. from 8a-5p. I do drive home during my lunch hour to take the doggies on a potty break. I normally give dogs free range in my home. They are allowed on the couch and bed. I can also crate them while I’m away or at night if you prefer. You will need to supply the crate. I take the doggies out for potty breaks usually every four hours.

About: I will treat your fur baby like my own. I’ve owned a cocker spaniel and a poodle, and have taken care of dogs since I was younger. We've had family dogs from shih tzu, poodle, schnauzer, the list goes on! I am especially mindful of making sure they are safe as my puppy used to try eating everything in sight! I'm looking for a job that gives me flexibility and also allows me to enjoy what I do. I'll be here whenever you and your fur babies need me! I have a desire to be outdoors these days and it would benefit myself and mainly your doggies to get the exercise they need. I’m very meticulous about watching pets everywhere they go as they can eat things that are hazards, but I also like to ensure they’re always clean and cared for as if they were my own pet. I work part-time as a behavioral tech and am in school, but when I’m available I like to tend to people’s fur babies! If they need to be walked or house sat, you can count on me. i used to own a cocker spaniel and was very mindful of any toxic foods, flowers, cleaning agents, or small choking hazards that could be lying on the floor. Your pet will be under the best of care while away from your home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
