About: Two years ago I adopted my dog from a shelter, and he came with real challenges — bite history, reactivity, and behavioral issues that required structure, patience, and consistency. Instead of being overwhelmed, I committed to learning everything I could about dog behavior, training, and proper handling. Working through those challenges gave me hands-on experience that many owners with naturally calm dogs never have to develop. I understand leash reactivity, triggers, boundaries, structured walks, and how to stay calm and in control in high-stress situations. I’ve put in the time to build trust, confidence, and obedience the right way. I am experienced with training tools, including e-collar work and prong collars when requested by owners, and I always prioritize safety, structure, and clear communication. If your dog needs more than just a casual walk — I’m prepared for that. I currently work a full time job Sunday-Wednesday overnight so i can accommodate during the day. I am very active and take my own dog on his daily walks/ hikes for at least an hour a day. This would be the same for your dog but of course would be a 1-1 experience with only me and your pup. I have a fenced in yard that my dog also loves to play in. During other dog stays every dog would be rotated for play and outside time/ hikes every hour. If dog sitting, dogs must be crate trained and potty trained!

I have owned a dog basically my whole life and I have always been surrounded by dogs and all kinds of animals since I can remember! I am very used to high energy dogs and long walks! I absolutely love dogs and all different types of animals! I am very flexible and will understand if you need to cancel last minute. When doing drop ins or house sitting I will be able to take them to the groomers if they need it! All I ask is for you to provide a leash and a collar/harness.
