“Can't recommend Jennifer enough! She walks my mini schnauzer, Betty, two days a week and I love getting on the Furbo and seeing Betty relaxed and passed out after their walks. Also appreciate the quality pictures Jennifer takes during their walks, it makes me happy knowing she's being looked after so well while I'm at work!”

“Claire was an emergency call and she looked at her schedule and was able to walk Sassy on the first day of the artic blast coming in. So thankful! If she had not responded yes, go back to Rover for next request. She came the night before to meet Sassy and Sassy immediately liked her.”

About: I’m Malasia. I have a 4 year old mini poodle I’ve had since 7months. I absolutely love dogs! If your dog sniffs me first, I’m definitely gonna ask to pet! I work from home as a data analyst and I often take care of my friends dogs (a large m German Shepard/pit mix and a f toy poodle). Along with my dog, it’s an interesting and fun mix. I’m also familiar with giving prescription meds if needed. The gs/pit mix suffers from seizures but I roll his meds in a cheese ball on time twice a day everytime:) he loves it and takes it well. The little toy poodle is very much an inside dog, she will go for a walk, but at home she has a pottyloo. When she is with me her owners bring potty pads. She uses them well like the little lady she is, but she used to miss the pad when she was younger. All the that to say no worries on pad trained pups! I got it! No worries on pups that need to take meds either! As for my dog, he’s a little anxious. Everything makes him jump but I find that just making him sit and breathe and understand he’s safe works. He's really playful though so once he warms up to you he won’t leave you alone. I work from home so I can care for pets throughout the day. Usually take my own outside around 9am, 1pm, 7pm, midnight. And he eats right after we come back inside. I love playing with dogs so we will do that and maybe some easy training for treats. Usually bed time right after midnight Closed door tidy home. My dog loves eating my toilet paper when I’m gone or not paying attention and he’s just generally nosey. So I make sure to double check everything and close doors. There is also a dog park on site. Dogs can potty there. Dogs will sleep in my room as well. My dog is crate trained but likes to venture under the bed sometimes. Please bring whatever your dog is comfortable sleeping with

“Isabella has been a godsend since my work scheduled picked up. She cares for my two boys like they were her own, and I would recommend her to anyone needing extra help with their dogs.”

“He's always on time, kind, and very professional. My dog absolutely loves spending time with him. He comes home completely exhausted and falls asleep right away every time. :)”

About: I started pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family many years ago which led me to working at a pet lodge for a friend when there were shifts to pick up. There I could handle anywhere from 5 to 15+ dogs of various breeds and sizes. I grew up with all sorts of animals but mostly dogs and cats. I really do love animals of all sorts. My biggest flex? I tend to befriend the unfriendly and shy ones. Currently, I am not working so I have open availability. When I start school in the fall, I will be doing it online so my schedule will not have to change with any clients that I might have. I always made sure my cats’ area was clean and stocked; meaning their litter box, food bowls are filled, and toys put away when they weren’t playful. When I had a dog, I would put them in the crate if I was leaving or going to bed when we were still training them, but after a while I kept them out. I like to maintain a regular routine so that they were not stressed.
“Got caught in a very busy day, and Ashley saved me by coming to walk the baby. She was sweet to my handicapped husband, and had an instant rapport with my little Havanese. I got photos from the walk, and I was freed to attend meetings and run errands at lunch. What a Godsend, thank you Ashley.”

“We absolutely loved our experience with Cheyenne! My dog instantly connected with her and would cry when she left—he adored her that much. Cheyenne was not only reliable and communicative, but she also helped curb some of his bad leash behaviors with patience and skill. Her genuine care and professionalism really stood out. I would absolutely book her again without hesitation.”

“Jayne is very responsible, very communicative, and very sweet with my dog for his daily mid day walks! 4 weeks in and will continue to use and recommend her rover services!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I would walk, feed and watch my neighbors dogs while they were away in Europe. Two very energetic and playful yellow labs. I have 2 dogs of my own. Lily is very energetic and likes to play a lot. The other, Toby, is a senior dog who likes attention. I consider them part of my family. I am currently on sabbatical. My schedule is open anytime, day or night, weekdays or weekends. Available for walking but also can be available to house sit with dogs. I follow each dog’s routine and care instructions closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own home. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special needs. Safety is always a priority — I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and I pay close attention to each dog’s well-being. I treat every home with respect and provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their dogs are in good hands.
About: Hello! I'm Taylor and I have always loved training dogs. I think cats and dogs always love me and we can aways get along. I have loved teaching my dog, Parker, to roll over, sit pretty, and fetch. I am looking forward to oppourtunities to meet a different variety of pets as I learn to train guide dogs. I have always felt a calling to be able to provide a service that might help people connect with animals that can help improve their qualitiy of life. I have a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in French. I've lived in a variety of places including Denver, CO and Paris, France. Now I’m back in Houston. My dog’s favorite game is I chase her while she steals socks. I've studied under a pet groomer to learn about common things to look out for in pets from joint function to ear infections, so I'm always keeping an eye out to make sure pets are doing great! Please let me know what games your dog likes, if you are teaching any commands, and special treats for your furry friend! I would love to help your dog learn commands from a secondary trainer to help reinforce them! I currently have remote work that offers me full availability. Contact me and let me know if I can help your pets get some fresh air or a little love! Please let me know if you have any requests. I enjoy reading books and like to sit with animals and pet them for a while to give them more interaction instead of their being alone all day, especially for crate trained animals.
“Amanda has taken care of our dog three different weekends. Amanda responds promptly to booking requests and any questions we have. She is punctual and always takes the time to give our dog a good long walk. Our dog loves her! We’re glad we found Amanda; she’s our go-to on Rover!”

About: Hi! I’m Debbie and have cared for two cocker spaniels, Duncan & Tuckie. I take great pride in making my dogs a priority in my life, including them in all that I do & treating them as members of my family! I would love to offer you my dog caring services so that you can have peace of mind that your fur baby is in loving hands! I’m available for dog walks, drop ins for feedings, boarding as well as pet sitting in my home. I do live in a condo community, and while I don’t have a fenced yard, we do have a small dog park on our property. Rest assured that your fur baby will get plenty of potty breaks and get taken on walks to get plenty of fresh air, sunshine & exercise. I work from home three days out of the week, and go into the office on Wed & Thurs. from 8a-5p. I do drive home during my lunch hour to take the doggies on a potty break. I normally give dogs free range in my home. They are allowed on the couch and bed. I can also crate them while I’m away or at night if you prefer. You will need to supply the crate. I take the doggies out for potty breaks usually every four hours.
“Lisa has been such a Godsend for our little pup. She walks Gili approximately 3 times a week and has been very flexible with us regarding dates and times. She communicates very well, gives feedback and takes a picture for us too which we really really appreciate. We had a house visit before she started and she seemed genuinely caring and concerned for our dog's safety and well being. We definitely recommend her for any pup sitting needs!”

Alejandra is so great and was able to walk my dog various times a week while I’m at work. She communicates well, responds quickly and was very easy to schedule repeated walks. She is respectful of my home and gentle with my dog, I will definitely continue to use her as her schedule allows!

2nd round of booking with Claire. Everything went great, and she did a great job earning the trust and cooperation of my sometimes-obstinate dog. She took care of feeding the two dogs twice a day and handled it perfectly considering they eat a lot of ingredients and supplements!

I just started using Deanna to walk my puppy three times a week. She has been really reliable and very good at letting me know when she arrives and how the visit went. I know Odie looks forward to her visits now as he was a little skittish in the beginning. I'm very pleased.
Makenzie has been walking my dog daily on my work days for about a month now. She’s been consistent, reliable, and a great communicator. I sometimes have to work extra long days and while it’s not an emergency, I hate leaving my dog too long without some company and a walk, so there’s been times I’ve asked for extra walking services, and I’ve been able to book those with her every time I’ve asked. I feel confident my dog is in good hands with her, allowing me to go about my work day worry free when it comes to my sweet boy. I highly recommend Makenzie. My cats enjoy her company, as well!

Bella went on several walks with Bryan over two days, and the experience was excellent. Bella looked happy and calm. He was very attentive and followed all the instructions I gave him. We only had one walk that was a bit later than scheduled, but it was resolved without any issue. Overall, I was very satisfied with his service and would definitely trust him again. 🐶💕

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
