Information Deanna D. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know age, general health, and any issues with aggression or moodiness around other dogs. Some general idea as to the level of exercise, attention, and play time that the animal normally receives would also be welcome. Dogs who are accustomed to a lot of outside yard time would not be a good fit, as I live in an apartment.

A typical day

I live in a small, gated condominium community well off of any busy or major streets. There are walking trails, courtyards, and plenty of poopy stations right outside my front door. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I have a very open policy when it comes to doggies on my bed at night. The living room sofa is also available. If you prefer crating at night, then that is also fine. Time I'll spend with your dog My schedule does very from day to day, but I am currently doing mostly telehealth from home. I go into the office on Monday and saturday. Time I'll spend with your dog My morning drop in visit is usually between 25 and 30 minutes. I usually spend 30-45 in the evening to allow for extra exercise and play time. Extra house-sitting services I am happy to bring in the newspaper, collect the mail and water house plants. Watering the lawn and exterior plants can also be negotiated.

Pet care experience

I have been a pet owner for 34 years and have fostered over 39 cats as a humane society volunteer. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals. I am happy to host small and medium dogs in my home. I am also available for in-home visits for cats, dogs, and rabbits. I had a house rabbit for 10 years, so I am experienced with their specific needs. Daily walks and frequent dog park visits are part of our normal routine. About this sitter: I have been a pet owner for 34 years and have cared for over 42 foster cats and foster dogs as a volunteer for the Wilson (NC) Humane Society. I also had a house rabbit for 10 years, so I am comfortable with most small mammals. I live near the Galleria area and frequently work from home. Morning and evening drop in service is available all days. Mid-day drop in is also available on weekends, for an additional fee. Why I love dog sitting Dogs are essential to happiness, in my opinion. I expanded my family in March of 2020 by adopting an adorable Chihuahua mix named Bonita. She is a senior dog and very gentle and friendly. About my yard I live in a second floor apartment. There is no backyard. However, I live a garden community with a beautiful courtyard that is great for quick potty breaks. My neighborhood is very residential, so there are lots of safe and quiet places to walk. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral meds and some subcutaneous meds. I am a psychotherapist who has largely been working from home since the start of the pandemic. My schedule does vary, but I'm home a great deal of the time. I currently live in a gated community and I own my home. There is a private patio that is not accessible from the outside. In addition, I have room to crate animals as necessary.

She was very patient with my cat. Killa is a very expressive cat and not always social but I think Deanna was able to understand her.
