About: I’ve cared for companion, sport, and service dogs for most of my life. I’m currently raising my fourth dog, a beautiful German Shepherd named Pancake. She behaves politely in busy coffee shops, streets, and crowds. I love that I can take her anywhere with me without worrying how she’ll react to unfamiliar dogs and people—she loves just about anyone! Getting Pancake from a rambunctious eight-week-old puppy to the well-mannered adult she is now took tremendous effort. Just like you, I know first-hand how much time, energy, and care it takes to raise our pets. Rest assured, I will care for your family as I care for mine. I work my main job from home and set my own schedule, so I can fit a wide range of times. Please don’t hesitate to reach out about any scheduling details. One thing worth knowing up front: I never rush a visit. If your dog needs a few extra minutes, those are on me at no extra charge, and I give every client the same courtesy. Because a visit now and then runs long, I keep some flexibility around start times. I always aim for your booked time, but please allow up to 30 minutes on either side. For a 2:00 PM booking, that means I may arrive anytime between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Your pet’s safety and well-being always comes first. They’ll have my full attention the whole time we’re together. I’m constantly reading their mood, behavior, and surroundings, so I can catch anything that seems off early and keep them comfortable and happy.

I practice this value of care by taking time with animals and plants of all variety since I was a child. As a kid growing up in Louisiana, I gave care to a turtle, bird, dog, fish, and crawfish! I currently have two dogs and a hamster of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I also have a medically complex pup with IVDD, along with experience caring for several French Bulldogs, so I’m very familiar with administering extra care, monitoring health concerns, and handling high-maintenance breeds. My boyfriend and I take our dogs on multiple walks every day, so I understand how important exercise, enrichment, and routine are for our furry family members — even when life gets busy. I’ve also personally worked through training programs with both of my dogs, so I’m comfortable handling energetic pups and reinforcing good behaviors during our time together. Unless your pet requires their food at specific times, they will follow the same schedule feeding and care (which is always in plenty) with my own pet. If spending the night, they are welcome to sleep in the room so they aren’t lonely!

About: I rescued my pittie off the road 4 years ago. She was pregnant. Helped bring in her babies and now she’s my shadow and attached at the hip! Since rescuing her, I’ve studied training and worked on her dog aggression which we’ve made tremendous progress on. Shes truly my world and I take her everywhere I can! Since losing my corporate job, I am really flexible at this time to drop in and assist with pet care, whether that be dog walking or drop-ins. I have a fenced in yard in a gated community.
