Amanda is an excellent pet sitter. She spent additional time with Milo going on walks and assisted with an emergency trip to the vet. My work schedule can be unpredictable and I’m glad Amanda was there to watch over Milo.

About: Will frequently house/pet sit for family and many church peers. Cuddle or respect personal space depending on pet personality. Experienced with dogs, cats, and a lizard at one point. My wife Erin loves to join with the pet loving adventures so let me know if you want her to join in or you would rather just have me alone Raised around animals and taken frequently to family ranch. I am a freelancer in hospitality so my schedule is flexible if I'm let known ahead of time. I normally have open availability depending on how I'm booked. I have my wonderful wife who helps out if she is available (same industry as me), only if you as the client would like her help as well. I don't mind spending the night so I accept overnight housesitting as well. Note: I will care and love for your pets but my daily schedule are for pets that used to their owners going to work and returning 8hr average work days. I don't stay at owners home 24hr a day but I will be away 5 to 9hr periods for work and I will be spend the night when desired. If you want someone to be at the home at all times (for those who need every hour care, and we absolutely cannot be away from the house) the price does goes up to $150/day. I will usually let pets get used to me before getting familiar with them so they don't get overwhelmed with me being a new stranger. It makes caring for them go smoother. Meet and greet friendly

About: I’ve owned pets all my life but have more formal pet sitting experience with colleagues dating back 10 years beginning in undergrad. I have cared for young puppies as well as senior dogs and am able to handle a clear medication regimen. I have lots of patience and am excited to meet your fur baby! I currently am finishing my dissertation so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to move my writing and work to fit my needs. All I ask is that I received prior notice of cancellation within 24 hours. I am not currently able to board any pets in my home but I am able to stop by, talk pets on walks, and spend some time with them depending on the individual needs. I understand how important it is for my safety and for the pet’s safety to respect their space, pace, and disposition.

About: Yo hablo español! 🐶When it comes to pet sitting, I believe it’s all about making pets feel like they’re at home, even when their owners are away. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and over the years, I’ve learned how to understand their unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s an elderly dog who needs some quiet time or an energetic dog that loves long walks, I make sure they get the attention they need to feel comfortable and happy. What truly sets me apart is the genuine bond I build with each pet—I treat them like they’re part of my family. I’m also really mindful of routines, whether it’s feeding, or just the little things that make a pet’s day feel normal. For me, it’s not just about watching over them; it’s about ensuring they’re safe, loved, and at ease until their owners return. 👫🏻I live with my reptile loving husband, I would gladly take care of your furry friend, especially on the weekends. We have a rescue mixed chocolate lab and corgi. They are small but have a lot of energy and enjoy playing with other friends. We also have a princess Guinea pig, Pebbles, who enjoys her personal space and daily fresh snacks. As a full-time special education teacher, routines are a big part of my life, and that structure naturally extends to how I care for pets. In the evenings and on weekends, when I'm not in the classroom, I'm spending time with my own fur babies—taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure each one gets the love and attention they need. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I genuinely love and look forward to. It helps me slow down after a busy day and brings me so much joy. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I stick to set routines and always make time to connect with each pet on a personal level. Whether I’m caring for my own pets or someone else’s, I treat them all like family. 🏠 I do offer house sitting services, however I have a family as well that also need my attention and care that I can only do 12 hour schedule (e.g. 7am -7pm). At this time, I will not be able to do overnight stays. I’ve been taking care of dogs for my family ever since I was in college, so looking after pets feels completely natural to me. I take a lot of pride in keeping a clean, safe, and cozy home for our animal babies, and I bring that same care into any client’s home too. I treat every pet like they’re my own — making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well taken care of. Whether it’s sticking to their routine, keeping their space clean, or just giving them lots of attention and playtime, I’m all about making sure they’re happy and safe.

About: My name is Edwin D Rodriguez I live with my mom and sister, I will would gladly take care of your furry friend, especially on the weekends. I would gladly take care of dogs, size from chihuahua to labrador. Size or breed of dog doesn’t matter when it comes to housesitting or daycare at my residence. I will do all I can to respond as soon as possible. I have been taking care of dogs for my family ever since I was a freshman in high school. We have a decent sized house, but not big for a Saint Bernard to live in, but we do have a big backyard. Possibly the biggest backyard in my entire neighborhood, if a dog is required walking I’ll be right on it. I recently graduated from college, so my schedule is more flexible. If housesitting, walking, daycare or drop-in visits are needed, I’ll be there whenever possible. House sitting is rare but whenever I do, I make sure the dogs are safe, secure and well fed. I also make sure the client’s house is well taken care of also.

About: Recently graduated from university with a degree in Wildlife Biology! I would love to work with animals up close and personal some day! For now I’m looking for a job related to wildlife and spend my extra time pet sitting! I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have two cats as well, I love both and love caring for others’ fur babies :). I’m available pretty much anytime but shoot me a message with any questions or concerns! As stated before, currently available mostly anytime but I’d prefer not to have requests for nighttime or past 9pm! I can also do as early as 7-7:30am. In your home, I respect your privacy and belongings and pets as I would like people to do for me. I have a small to medium sized pup who is very shy, friendly, and loves all pups! Also have a playful 3 month old kitten :)

About: I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of various temperaments, including large and high-energy breeds. I’m comfortable with nail trimming, light grooming, basic puppy training, and administering medications as directed. My goal is to provide structured, attentive, and reliable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m home almost all day and able to give your pup lots of attention and care. I’m available for boarding any day of the week. I occasionally run short errands during the week, but pets are never left unattended for long periods and safety is always my priority. I have a fully fenced yard and I DO NOT have any dogs of my own. The dogs I care for are welcome to roam freely indoors and enjoy supervised time outside, so they are not cooped up inside all day. The only pet in my home is a lovebird who remains securely housed and separated from guest pets.

About: I am 19 years old. I have two dogs of my own, a pit bull and a Chihuahua. I know how to handle dogs very well big and small. Walking dogs is just a hobby I like to do since I already have to. i have a cat as well, I take cats as well if that’s something you are interested in. If your dog does not like other dogs, please be sure to let me know before I walk your dog. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Thank you. During the week I do have college, i go to San Jac which is T/Th at 8:35-10:35am. Other than that I’m free to watch your pets ;) I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment when caring for pets at client’s home. I ensure all spaces are pet-proofed, free of hazards, and suited to their specific needs. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions to maintain consistency. Building trust is key, so I use positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and patience to help pets feel secure. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
