About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. I currently have three rescue dogs that I love. I have pet sitted for family, friends and neighbors for years. I am home from college this summer doing online classes and have tons of flexibility in my day. I am open any day of the week. I will follow any instructions you have for your fur babies. I am in charge of feeding and watering my dogs at home and typically take them on regular walks.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family members care for their pets by feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like part of my family. My daily routine already revolves around caring for animals. I walk my own dogs every morning and evening, so regular walks, feeding schedules, and playtime are already part of my day. I also take my son to school in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon, which gives me a flexible schedule during the day for pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I have a fenced backyard where dogs can roam safely, plus a pool if your pup likes to splash around (always supervised). I’ve got two friendly dogs at home who love a buddy to run around with, but if your pet’s not feeling it or just needs a break, I can crate them no problem. I mostly go with whatever keeps your dog comfy and happy. The dogs rule the house over here.
About: I grew up with dogs and now have two cats of my own, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I know how much they mean to you, and I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities: playful, shy, or somewhere in between! I try to keep their routine as normal as possible. I have experience with feeding, walks, litter box care, and playtime, and I pay attention to the little things so your pet feels safe and cared for. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. You can count on me to give your pet lots of care and attention! I’m currently on maternity leave and will soon be a stay-at-home mom while finishing my master’s in counseling, so I have a flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to give pets consistent attention, care, and check-ins throughout the day. I follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I handle feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific instructions. I give pets attention based on their personality and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior.

“Communication skills are great. We needed a last minute walk and she was awesome. Took photos during walk and sent it to us. After the walk I could see Remi wore out which is good for us. I could tell Remi enjoyed seeing a new face and having fun. Thank you very much for your help Angelina.”

I can come to your home and keep your pet company by playing, petting or gentle massage, walking, or just sitting and talking with your less energetic fur babies. I live in an apartment so I don’t have a yard, but I make sure to get my steps in and my dogs by going on frequent walks. My apartment also has a fenced in dog park that I use to let dogs have time outside off leash

“Meagan is the best! She’s very communicative, reliable, flexible and super attentive to my sweet boy’s needs. She’s gone above and beyond when caring for my boy and I will continue to book with Meagan!”

About: I love animals with more than 30 years of pet care (cats, dogs, birds, mini horses, chickens, rabbits, goats, koi, reptiles). I can help with transport to appts, grooming, walking, drop ins at your house to care for your pets several times a day and pet sitting in my house. I currently have dogs, cats and birds. I also had koi fish for ten years and two huge tortoises. Years ago I fostered for the Houston sheltie sanctuary, and I continue to help rehome/rescue pets. I connect more with animals than most humans. I have helped birth kittens and pups, hand feeding baby birds and had a working small farm with goats, a pig or two, chickens and mini horses. If your pet has any special needs, allergies, medications, health risks, medical conditions, special food/treats or tempermant concerns, please share! The more info provided, the better the quality of care and attention. Additional fur babies can have a rate discount. Please check out additional services. If you prefer your fur baby be crated or have their own room, I can provide that. My pets are used to me watching pets and after the initial introduction, think they are part of the pack. Cats, rabbits, turtles, reptiles and hamster/gerbils are welcome too! I have outdoor cameras at the front of the house and driveway. Unfortunately I do not board pits or pit mixes, due to the age and size of my dogs. Also on a case by case basis, I can be available for larger dogs, would have to have a meet and greet. I took time off from Rover for about a year and a half but I am back and ready to care for your pets. When boarding and we are away, your fur babies can be in the front room or if they are regulars with my fur kids. I am currently working full time but can still board during the week. With my and my spouse’s schedules, your pet will not be alone more than 7 hours at a time. We are homebodies and enjoy being at home. Happy to take care of most types of animals. If you drop off or pick up your pet Monday through Friday in the am, I can accept until 7:15 am. Pickup or drop off in the evening is generally after 5:30 pm, unless a different time is available. I will always confirm drop-offs the day before with a two hour timeframe so that we both on the same page. I can dog walk on weekends and I am home each weekend. I have a fenced in yard with a pool. Dogs are never left unattended in back yard. I have a big dog and small dogs and cats, they are all very sweet and older. I also have a separate room to board animals, if requested. For small dogs that insist on sleeping in the bed, I are ok with that too. Dogs will be taken on walks and play in the backyard.
About: I’ve been around dogs and other animals for most of my life. My family has always had pets, and I’ve personally owned and cared for multiple dogs over the years. I got my first dog, Coco, when I was 8 years old, and caring for her taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each pet’s unique needs. I’m currently a Biology student pursuing a career as a veterinarian and am actively completing veterinary clinical hours at a veterinary clinic. Through this experience, I’m gaining hands-on knowledge of animal care, behavior, health monitoring, and handling techniques. In high school, I was involved in FFA, where I raised and cared for a pig, giving me additional experience with animal husbandry and daily animal care responsibilities. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or attentive care while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect that I would my own pets. I am currently completing veterinary clinical hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM as part of my preparation for veterinary school. Outside of those hours, I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship. Caring for animals is an important part of my future career goals, and I enjoy spending time with pets while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. As a veterinary extern and future veterinarian, I have experience working around animals in a clinical setting and understand the importance of monitoring behavior, appetite, activity level, and overall well-being. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines. I am comfortable cleaning up accidents, providing basic grooming and hygiene care, and giving pets the patience and attention they deserve. Every pet in my care will be treated with the same level of respect and compassion that I would give my own animals.

About: We are a family that lost a 14 year old dog in 2015. We have had a hard time with it and don't really want to get another. We want to take care of dogs while others go out of town and give them the care we always gave our very own. We were always hesitant putting our dog in kennels and always wished for a comfortable home and environment to be in while we were away. We want to do the same for you. If at any point there is a concern about a dogs well being in our care, we will be sure to notify the owner of the injury or concern and handle it from there. Thank you for trusting us with your babies!
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and passion for animal care. I'm currently studying in the veterinary field and have interned as a vet assistant at two different clinics. I’m certified in pet grooming, dog walking, and have additional training in puppy care and senior pet care. Whether your pet needs gentle handling, special attention due to age, or just a fun walk around the block, I bring both professional skills and genuine love to every visit. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and can work all week to care for your pets. I carefully plan my time around my classes and study sessions to stay focused and reliable. I’m able to fit in visits like check-ins and dog walks while balancing school, which makes managing everything much easier. On lighter school days or during breaks, I’m available for longer visits or overnight stays. Weekends and evenings are often when I’m most free for extended pet care. While I also serve as a Youth Leader at my church, I usually do earlier drop-ins so I can help during morning services. I’m flexible and always prioritize clear communication to ensure your pets get the care they deserve without impacting my academic responsibilities. I provide loving, attentive care whether I’m visiting your home or hosting your pet at mine. I’m experienced with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to small animals and even farm critters, so I adjust care to each individual. Communication is key, I send photo and video updates regularly so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
