“Kim has exceeded our expectations with watching our fur babies. She kept us updated with plenty of pictures which we LOVED, because who doesn’t obsess over millions of pictures of their pets! Our dogs just absolutely love her which is a huge compliment since our big dog is very selective. She is now going to be our go-to sitter when we have to leave town. 5 stars don’t give her enough credit. We felt so comfortable with her that it was like leaving them with a friend. You cannot go wrong with Kim (:”

“I like that Angie suggest the meeting and greet. We got to visit and went over my daily routine with my girls. Basically got the lay of the land and had a great visit. I will use her again. She understood my girls are little shy and have to get use to the sitters that come in.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Alexis. She took such great care of our babies while we were away and gave us so much peace of mind. She made sure they were well loved, kept active with walks, and stayed on their normal routine. One of our favorite things was the pictures she sent! We absolutely loved getting updates and seeing how happy and comfortable our pups were. It meant so much to know they were in such good hands. We truly appreciate the care and attention she gave them and would definitely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾💛”

“Marranda was amazing with my babies!! We recently adopted a bigger dog and we have a small anxious dog as well. She was great catering to both of their needs. I appreciate her kindness and for being on time! You can tell she has a genuine love for animals. I will definitely be rebooking her!”

“Norma did a GREAT job taking care of my dogs. She did some drop in visits while I was out of town. She was on time, and sent me updates. I will definitely request Norma again”

About: I am a reliable & experienced sitter that has had dogs and cats as pets all my life. I have over 30 years of pet sitting experience but I am new to Rover as a sitter. I used Rover for my dog that I had for almost 15 years. I have experienced with administering oral medication & taking care of elderly pets. I love them big & small, young & old, hyper or chill. I love to get outside for walks or runs. I am a homebody who works remotely & takes online courses as well so I’ll be around to give them all the attention. I know what it is like to have a pet with separation anxiety so no need to worry them or you while you are away :) I work part time so I have plenty of time to love on your pets. I like to give them as much attention as I can while you are gone I like to keep their routine consistent to make it easier on everyone. If you want them crated, brushed, walked & fed at certain times, or allowed on or not on furniture, I will be sure to do the same!
“Alejandra took great care of my pups when I had to go out of town and couldn't take them. She stayed with them for the full time, cleaned up after them and administered meds for my senior dog. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing with our dogs! One of our pups can be shy at first, but she worked with him to bring out of his shell and keep him happy while we were away. Our other pup is a senior that needs extra love and she provided just that. I genuinely couldn’t provide a more glowing positive review for her overall service, communication, relatability and treatment of our babies!”

“Absolutely amazing. She did everything I asked, and then some. All of my crazy crew of my little dachshunds absolutely loved her. Definitely will be rehiring her again.”

About: A little about me and my love for dogs… I’m Christian and Love God first, my second Love is dogs, and how ironic is it that God spelled backwards is dog, I believe God has given us these fur angels as one of his most awesome gifts.♥️✝️ I was in the medical field for 20+years but decided i wanted to be around fur babies instead so I started dog sitting. I can administer insulin, I have experience as my previous fur baby was diabetic & I had to give her insulin shots. I don’t have any children or anyone else living with me. I was a foster mom in the rescue group Lonestar shi tzu & Lhasa apsa, and have experience with all types of dogs. I either have my worship music on or sleep music, and the babies seem to enjoy both. I don’t have a full time job outside of doggy daycare but I do a little uber from time to time. I always get asked how I manage several dogs at a time, and I just show the pack I’m the pack leader and they follow my instructions. I’ve watched a lot of Cesar Milan.😁I have a handicap ramp in the backyard for the elders or for any that have problems with steps, the backyard is covered with outdoor green carpets so no dirt or stepping in anything. I often bake fresh sweet potatoes for the babies and they Love it. I give Lots of Love and attention, it’s like going to Grandma’s house.😁❤️ I really enjoy having all the fur angels stay with me however I will NO longer be taking puppies/dogs not potty trained, and NOT on flea prevention. I also ask when booking, and corresponding with me that you let me know one way or the other and Please be PUNCTUAL, I need drop off and pick up times ahead. If you’re booking with me or not please provide shot records that the fur baby is up to date with their shots, flea prevention, and have been spayed or neutered. I have a fenced in backyard, I let the furbabies out often. There are lots of toys in the house, I also have many cameras (inside & out)that’s a two way audio in case I have to go somewhere, I can check on them. I live in a nice mobile home, moved in after hurricane Harvey & started with almost nothing, so I’ve made improvements throughout the years like a secure gate for the porch so assurance that the babies are completely safe when it’s a nice day and we want to enjoy bird watching from the porch & a handicap ramp for the backyard, my house is puppy proof and very clean, and the entire living room specifically dedicated to the fur babies, and playtime is pretty much all the time, unless it’s naptime. I want the fur babies to be happy and comfortable. Nothing but love in my home! I also take a lot of pictures/videos because I want to capture the cute things the babies do, I’ve got a lot of pictures here to look at so you can see all of the cuteness. Please make sure your fur baby is clean(recently bathed) so we can all snuggle in the bed, I don’t want anyone to feel left out, as I’m no longer giving baths. I’m pretty sure your baby will be wanting to visit again, it seems everyone says they’re babies aren’t going to want to go home because I spoil them so much. I’m older(55 and keep to myself), it’s just me and the fur babies ❤️ If you’re like me and super protective of your babies you want the best and make sure they’re safe then it’s definitely here!❤️ I devote most of my time to all the fur babies I have stay. I give them lots of love and attention. I treat the fur babies like my own, and as if they’re my kids🥰 I have a fence for the backyard, and I go outside with the babies when they need to go potty, I want them to feel safe.

“Meghan was great! She came in clutch last minute when my normal sitter was out of town and responded within minutes of my request. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, sent great updates with plenty of pictures and notes, and took wonderful care of my babies. I’ll definitely use her services again in the future if my normal sitter is unavailable ❤️”

“Our initial meet up made me feel grate about having Desiree check in on my gal! She covered all the basis when going over instructions, even things I didn't think of. Definitely would rebook!”

“Emma was able to care for my two cats with twice daily drop in visits while I was gone. Very communicative and gave lots of photo updates. No issues were had and she was very sweet to bring in a package at the door for us. Will use Emma again for our next trip out! Thanks again!”

Emma was able to care for my two cats with twice daily drop in visits while I was gone. Very communicative and gave lots of photo updates. No issues were had and she was very sweet to bring in a package at the door for us. Will use Emma again for our next trip out! Thanks again!

Rachel went above and beyond to make sure our 4 legged "son" was well cared for. She made sure JigSaw was loved. The pics we received showed he was happy and not feeling abandoned by his owners. I would highly recommend her and definitely use her services again.

I will not leave my dogs with anyone else.Ricardo is the most trustworthy and caring dog person there is. If he were to be unavailable I wrote just stay home. I have been all over the world and I have never worried about my dogs once because of Ricardo. He is Rover as far as I am concerned.

Kathryn is so amazing. She has been watching KASH for many years now and it’s been a pleasure. She make sure he has food and water, and even cleans up after him, she sends me a picture daily with updates which helps me to be at ease while away. Will always book with her ❤️

We had a great experience with Madeline! She took wonderful care of our three dogs and made the whole process stress free. Communication was excellent from start to finish. She kept us updated regularly and was always quick to respond. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our pups were in such good hands.

Jennyfer was so helpful and accommodating. We had to do a last minute booking due to an emergency. She made it work with her schedule and even went out of her way to make sure we had a meet and greet. She sent pictures and ensured that our pups were very well cared for!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
