“Kristen was so great, I'm so happy I found her and will request her back again as needed to check in on my girl. She was prompt, sent pics of Ellie and spent time making sure she had everything she needed while I was away. She did an excellent job and I couldn't be more pleased.”

“Helen was great with it usually shy cats. Always sent lots of pictures and we were at ease knowing they were happy to see her. Will 100% be using her services again in the future.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I got my first pup at age 5, and I’ve been raising and caring for them ever since. Our home includes a 7-year-old mini Frenchie who’s a pro at reading the room - she loves a good play session but also knows when to give other dogs their space. My 3.5-year-old is growing up with the same love for dogs and has learned to respect boundaries and recognize when it’s time to play or give pets their space. Your dog will be treated like family here, with plenty of love, attention, and a calm, dog-savvy household that understands every pup is unique. We have a fenced-in backyard for as much outdoor play your pup may require. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I’m around throughout the day to provide attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. My routine naturally revolves around my own pup’s needs, so caring for your dog fits seamlessly into our daily flow. Whether it’s morning walks, midday play sessions, or just hanging out together while I work, your dog will have consistent supervision and plenty of quality time. We have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My 20-pound mini Frenchie is always up for a playmate when the vibe is right, but she’s equally content to let other pups do their own thing. For peace of mind, we’re just 8 minutes from the nearest emergency vet, so immediate care is readily accessible if ever needed.

“Alexis was so caring and took such good care of our dog, Finn. She communicated regularly and provided fun pictures of him while we were on vacation. I highly recommend Alexis”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, mostly dogs but a few cats as well. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, I’ve had pets on both ends of the size spectrum. My sweet girl passed away last fall, I miss the companionship but not quite ready to adopt again emotionally. In the meantime, I spend as much time as possible loving any dog I can! I’m currently in between jobs and considering a career change so my days are wide open. My day starts with a walk around the neighborhood with my senior greyhound, but she’s typically done for the day after that, leaving me lots of time to spread the love. I understand that each dogs needs are specific to their backgrounds and breeds, therefore I strive to accommodate each dog so that they can be happy and healthy and their parents can be put at ease.

“Taylor took great care of Birdie. I moved from TX to OKC and had to leave for work the following week. This was my first time using the Rover service. Birdie was very stressed out from the move, being in a new place, and without dog door access for the first time. Taylor came by and met Birdie before I left; Birdie liked her right away. Birdie did great with Taylor, drop in visits during the day. Communication with each visit really eased my mind. I highly recommend Taylor. She is fantastic!”

I have a one acre fenced yard perfect for running around. Five small dogs to keep your dog company. I do have a dog pen if needed.
“Anna is very kind and took great care of our cat Lola. She’s also very professional and great with communication. We’ll definitely check with Anna on her availability the next time we need a sitter.”

“Kristyna is great! She was very prompt in responding and scheduling an initial meet-and-greet, and reliable for regular in-home visits to care for our cat during an extended trip. She provided great updates for each visit. Highly recommended!”

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for pets, including my own domestic shorthair cat. Because I work from home and live in the Meridiana neighborhood, my drop-in schedule is very flexible. As a cat owner, I understand how much pets depend on a calm, clean, and comfortable environment, especially when their family is away. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive consistent care, fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m gentle, patient, and reliable, and I’ll treat your pet like my own. I also know that some cats need time and space to warm up, so I always respect each pet’s personality and comfort level. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available for drop-in visits during most weekdays and weekends, and I can usually adjust my time to fit your pet’s normal routine. Because I live in the Meridiana neighborhood, I’m especially flexible for nearby visits. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving your pet some attention while you’re away. Please feel free to message me about your preferred visit time, and I’ll do my best to make it work. About: I have been a dog owner for 8 plus years. Currently I have 4 rescue dogs. Dogs bring me joy and I love their different personalities. I enjoy playing with them, walking and having cuddle time. I currently have older kids that don’t require much time thus available during the week and weekends to help out with pets. My schedule is flexible. I have a large fenced in yard and a doggy door that allows my fur babies to go in and out as they please. I also watch the dogs as they are outside.
“Finally got this App to work!!! Thanks for a fantastic visit session! My boys looked as happy as they would be with me! Keep up the amazing work and thanks again! 😊😊😊😊☺️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. In 2020, I adopted an anxious and reactive 1 year old dog, and spent a lot of time learning dog behavior and how to bond with my dog using positive reinforcement techniques. Outside of personal experience, I have been pet sitting for close friends and family for the last 8 years. Fun fact: In the last year, I have also been raising my own chicken flock! I love constantly learning different things about different animals and their needs. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of availability to do drop-ins and playtime. With ample notice, house sitting can also be worked on with your schedule. I highly prefer a meet and greet so I can know your routine with your pets. I would like to be able replicate that routine to reduce as much stress and anxiety as possible for your pets. In the summer time, I am very vigilant about watching out for overheating and fatigue. I value open communication and will always update you when there is something that seems unusual with your pet or home care. For house sitting, I will only be in or use things in my designated areas and will double check house security at all times.
About: I've been around all sizes of dogs my entire life. In the past 5 years cat were added to that and I couldn't have been happier. I have a 2 year old Rottweiler who had parvo when she was 2 months old and we got her through that, and recently y fostered a car who we just got back to health as well. So, I am no stranger to pets with needs. I control my schedule at work 100% so with ample heads up I can work your pet's routine into it as needed. I can be available at all times of the day. I will treat your pets with the upmost respect and kindness. I love all animals and they all speak their own language. My pets live in a safe and kind household and I will treat your pets as such whether it be a check-in or a walk.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Manvel stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
