“Pros: we got our dogs back in one piece and they seemed to be fed and happy, so I guess I can’t complain too much. Negatives: *this is just constructive criticism and left 5 stars because I don’t want to affect the rover’s status as they seem to have many other happy reoccurring clients.* the only pitfall for us was that we only received 2 updates on our dogs 7 day stay and we had to ask for them. We only received 1 pic of each dog. This left us with a bit of anxiety while we had limited service and out of the country. So we would have liked more unsolicited updates just to ease our minds.”

Over the years I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family members care for their pets by feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I walk my own dogs every morning and evening, so regular walks, feeding schedules, and playtime are already part of my day. I can sit late afternoons or evenings as well. I also do overnights and weekends. If you need drop-ins or walks I can arrange that too. I have a 4 acre yard including a large fenced in area and also a smaller kennel area if needed for outside animals. Inside animals are welcome as I have an extra room with bedding, toys, leashes, and crates. If your animal does not use a crate for sleep that is fine also. About: I have been a dog owner for 8 plus years. Currently I have 4 rescue dogs. Dogs bring me joy and I love their different personalities. I enjoy playing with them, walking and having cuddle time. I currently have older kids that don’t require much time thus available during the week and weekends to help out with pets. My schedule is flexible. I have a large fenced in yard and a doggy door that allows my fur babies to go in and out as they please. I also watch the dogs as they are outside.

Currently, I have a rescue Fox Terrier of my own named Oreo. He’s five years old and my life truly changed after I adopted him from Petsmart. I understand how hard it is to be away from your furry friend and know that leaving your dog with a stranger can often be stressful and scary. I aim to provide honest, trustworthy, and skilled care to every pup and owner I meet. Your dog will be loved and watched carefully. I can also be in constant and consistent contact, sending photos, videos, and text updates to share the fun we’re having. I live in a wonderful, dog-friendly home in the Rodeo Palms neighborhood, where your pup can enjoy toys, treats, and cuddles galore! The area is quiet and is family-heavy, so it’s a safe and fun place to bring puppy friends. There are also lots of dog parks in my neighborhood, so with your permission we’ll hit the outdoors to meet some new friends. You’ll also love that my home has a fenced-in backyard - which makes potty breaks, sunbathing, and play time easy and fun! There is room to run and roam, bark and play, and get to know Oreo a little better. When I’m not pet sitting, I love spending time with Oreo as well as teaching children to read, travelling around the world, and getting my Zumba on! Your pup would be welcome to join me on any of my adventures. I can’t wait to meet you! On a stay with me, I’ll be sure to provide everything your dog needs in order to stay happy and healthy! “I was worried about leaving my 10wk ofd puppy with anyone for the first time, especially knowing there were other big dogs in the house, when he'd never really met any dogs before. BUT, to my VERY pleasant surprise, it proved to be one of the BEST days my baby ever had, as realized from the video sent to me while he was there. My pup ended up taking over the place; literally running around, jumping on, and over the big dogs who were sweet enough to tolerate his energetic l'il self? 🤐🤣 It was hilarious, and immediately put me at ease! Mr Chang was even kind enough to take him as a last minute booking as I knew no one, but trusted Rover from the past! I can't thank he, and his friend enough for accommodating us, and they deserve more than the 5 stars available! 🥰”
“Pros: we got our dogs back in one piece and they seemed to be fed and happy, so I guess I can’t complain too much. Negatives: *this is just constructive criticism and left 5 stars because I don’t want to affect the rover’s status as they seem to have many other happy reoccurring clients.* the only pitfall for us was that we only received 2 updates on our dogs 7 day stay and we had to ask for them. We only received 1 pic of each dog. This left us with a bit of anxiety while we had limited service and out of the country. So we would have liked more unsolicited updates just to ease our minds.”

“Never ever in my life did I think I’d be stuck on a boat far away while my Aurora was going through a hurricane. Aurora LOVES going to Ashley’s place and being with her family and animals; it’s why Ashley is my go to. Now Ashley and her family are absolute heroes in my opinion. They helped my anxiety ridden pup go through a hurricane in love and comfort. Even though the whole area lost signal Ashley did her best to send pictures. I will never have anyone else watch my dog - not even my brother who I love like crazy.”
