About: i love dogs and especially my dogs i’ve always cared for them so much they’re my favorite animal and to be able to do this as a side hustle is a big blessing i currently work nights wednesday thursday and friday trying to save up for a new car and for school so i can finish paying off my classes i treat my dog how i would want mine to be treated i take her out every morning as soon as i wake up and make her food while she’s outside and usually take a little time to play with her outside
“Kristen is a great pet sitter. She did exactly as my husband and I asked for our fur babies and she was prompt with her visits and posted lots of pictures and updates. We did a meet and greet introduction with our pets and Kristen before we went on vacation and it seemed like a good match. After the vacation we are just convinced we will not be using a boarding service away from home again because of the super job performed by Kristen. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again and in fact already have!!”

“Dana is wonderful with our pups. I have two senior boys and we are very happy we found her. Our dogs are like our kids and it’s comforting to know we have someone trustworthy and caring like her to check on them during our work hours.”
“Paige is a very nice person and so is her husband. From what I have experienced, she truly does love taking care of animals. My little lady took to her right away. I initially had hired Paige to house/pet sit for me but unfortunately had to cancel and she was very understanding and accommodating, which I really appreciated. I was also impressed with how prepared she was to ask all the right questions to prepare for the job. I have used her since and was nice to feel comfortable leaving my girl in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Stacey came over within thirty minutes of our request when our flight was cancelled and we were in a bind. I cannot stress enough how incredible and helpful she is. I always know Oscar is in good hands!”
“Cierra was great! She accepted a last minute request to check in on my pups and did an excellent job making sure they were happy and cared for. Very happy with her sitting services!!!”

“Madeline was great with my two girls. I have an Australian Shepherd and a Red Healer; they are very protective once they warmed up to her it was all good. I will use her again.”

“Mary was so great with my doggie! He had some accidents in his kennel while I was on a trip and she cleaned it up with no problem and even came by sooner and more often. She was extremely respectful with the house and left everything better than it was. She communicated every step of the way, sent pictures, and went above and beyond. I was so relieved knowing my pup was in good hands 😊”

“Holly was an absolute delight and went out of her way to familiarize herself with my cats and their routines. I felt relieved and comforted that she not only attended my cats’ basic needs but also doted on them each time she visited. She kept in excellent communication with me and made my day by sharing adorable, candid pics of my fur babies. Would absolutely use her again.”

“Neysha was amazing! We had to book super last minute cause of last minute changes and she was so accommodating. We were so happy to see how well all three of our dogs responded to Neysha and you could really tell that she was taking care of the dogs like her own. Our dogs are seniors and are a bit of a handful. She went above and beyond in making sure the dogs felts comfortable and happy. Can't wait to book her again on our next trip!”

“Jesika was SO amazing with our young puppy!!! She sent adorable pictures and a detailed report each visit. She gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in good hands. Thank you so much and look forward to booking you again!!”

“This was my first time using Jeremy to watch my two dogs and he was fantastic! Jeremy was on time and sent lots of photos and videos. One of my dogs can be a little nervous around new people, but Jeremy did well with him! I will definitely use Jeremy again for future dog sitting needs!”

“This was our first time to use Wendy and she is wonderful. She is so sweet with our cats. She sent several great pictures and went beyond to put our mail and packages on the porch. She's a keeper.”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 plus years. Currently I have 4 rescue dogs. Dogs bring me joy and I love their different personalities. I enjoy playing with them, walking and having cuddle time. I currently have older kids that don’t require much time thus available during the week and weekends to help out with pets. My schedule is flexible. I have a large fenced in yard and a doggy door that allows my fur babies to go in and out as they please. I also watch the dogs as they are outside.

“Norma was incredibly helpful with our cat during an unplanned extension of a long trip. Our cat can be difficult but she was wonderful with her and went out of her way to make sure she was well cared for during her visits to our home. She was quick to communicate with us after every visit and was very responsive to specific feeding and care requirements. Most of all, she’s very pleasant to interact with! I’d strongly recommend her as we completely trust her with our pet and our home. -The Johnsons”

“Excellent and professional provider. My dog was happy and she followed the schedule. I will be using her again this was so convenient and allowed my elder dog to stay in his home where he is more comfortable.”

Stacey is great! She is extremely responsive and reliable. She was available last minute to care for my dogs when I had to go out of town. She clearly has a lot of experience with animals and knows how to interact and care for them. My dogs require some extra steps in their care routine and she made sure that everything was completed for them. We look forward to using her again soon!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
