“Mattisen has been a wonderful dog sitter for my dog Rose. She visits during the day to let her out and spends time with her while I’m at work. Mattisen has been very communicative during her visits and I have felt very secure leaving Rose in her company while I’m not there.”

“Amanda was absolutely wonderful! I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care, and I truly appreciated her accommodating my last minute request. I feel very lucky that she was available. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely be requesting her services again in the future!”

“Jazlynn was absolutely amazing. I opted for the drop-in visits. She stopped by the house twice a day and took care of my 160 Cane Corso. She was punctual and communication was exceptional. Well done ma’am.”

“We ask Desiree for a day of drop-ins fairly last minute as our usual sitter was unavailable & she happily obliged. She was punctual & took great care of our Cooper. Would & will likely ask for her again when needed.”

“Esmeralda was a great communicator and sent pictures of my fur babies to me at each drop in. My cats normally hide but they came out for her instantly. That’s a good sign. :) I would not hesitate to hire her again.”

“Absolutely amazing. She did everything I asked, and then some. All of my crazy crew of my little dachshunds absolutely loved her. Definitely will be rehiring her again.”

“Amazing service! Estefania was always very quick to respond, punctual to her visits, and provided the best care for little kitten, Chloe! She went above and beyond my expectations, thank you so so much!”

“She was wonderful taking care of our two fur babies. She was great with communication. My husband and I were able to have a nice comfortable getaway and know that our fur babies were well taken care of. Will definitely use Maddy again”

About: My name is Edwin D Rodriguez I live with my mom and sister, I will would gladly take care of your furry friend, especially on the weekends. I would gladly take care of dogs, size from chihuahua to labrador. Size or breed of dog doesn’t matter when it comes to housesitting or daycare at my residence. I will do all I can to respond as soon as possible. I have been taking care of dogs for my family ever since I was a freshman in high school. We have a decent sized house, but not big for a Saint Bernard to live in, but we do have a big backyard. Possibly the biggest backyard in my entire neighborhood, if a dog is required walking I’ll be right on it. I recently graduated from college, so my schedule is more flexible. If housesitting, walking, daycare or drop-in visits are needed, I’ll be there whenever possible. House sitting is rare but whenever I do, I make sure the dogs are safe, secure and well fed. I also make sure the client’s house is well taken care of also.

My house is pretty spacious, the backyard is fenced and there’s lots of room for play. I will do whatever I can to make your pet feel safe and happy in the time we spend together I believe spending time with animals can be such a beautiful and healing experience. I have open availability and can care for your pets any day of the week unless otherwise noted on my calendar. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, and personalized care throughout the day based on your pet’s needs and routine. About: Hi! I’m Darlene. A little into my personal life: -I’m 30 years old. -SHSU Alumna 🧡💙🤍 -Vet Tech for 6 years -I have two dogs: Marley, my senior boy. He’s 16 years old and doesn’t seem to have much thoughts lol but he’s still trucking along. It’s his world, we’re just living in it. Yumi, my 6 year old girl. We like to call her the sweetest, most beautiful bby in the entire world. She’s a sweet heart and is a proud member of the lamb chop cult. Both of my dogs are adopted from shelters. 🐾💛 -My hobbies are reading, watching horror movies, playing my ninendo switch, and spending time with my husband/dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies. 🐾 I currently work full-time as a vet tech. I usually work 4x10’s and I’m off on the weekends. I like to be as transparent as possible with you, and I do my best to try and leave for lunch and give your babies a potty break, but it’s not always a guarantee, given the nature of my job. I really try not to disrupt their routine while you’re away and I will love on them and care for them like they’re my own. Every dog/cat deserves that & I’m very big on cuddles and sending photos with updates!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs whether it’s going on walks or dog sitting. I even have my own dog that I’ve had for 8 years now. I do have a full time job but I have free time for Friday-Sunday even during the week after work. If it’s Monday-Thursday I can do it after 6pm I don’t mind dog sitting at your home if needed. I wouldn’t be able to bring them to my home since I live in an apartment.

Marissa was an INCREDIBLE dog sitter! She took very good care of our three girls. She was attentive, always shared videos/photos and gave them lots of love! We were more than happy with her, will definitely be rebooking. She’s our new go-to sitter! ❤️ Highly recommend!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
