About: I’ve worked with companion dogs, sport dogs, and service animals for most of my life. I‘m especially experienced with raising puppies. I’m currently raising my fourth, Pancake, a beautiful German Shepherd, whom I’ve raised since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve personally crate-trained, housebroken, and potty-trained Pancake. I’ve also taught her reliable leash manners and basic commands (sit, down, heel, place, recall, leave it, stay). Additionally, I’ve exposed her to a wide variety of social environments, and as a result, she gets along well with everyone. With that said, I know how much time and dedication it takes to raise our canine family members. I’d love to help care for your companion in any way I can! I work my main job at home. Since I make my own schedule, I can accommodate a wide range of scheduling needs. Please don’t hesitate to discuss with me any scheduling details! A pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. About: With over 35 years of pet care experience, fur babies are my favorite obsession—-so much so that I’ve built a full-scale dog park in my backyard! I plan and host very ornate annual dog parties, such as my highly anticipated Halloween Yappy Hour (a doggie social where their owners can mix and mingle with other dog enthusiasts). I’m a University of Houston alumni and hold 2 Masters degrees—-one in Behavioral Science and another in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. My Ph D studies were in that area as well. Go Coogs!! As in anything that I approach, I take my dog-sitting responsibilities very seriously and I constantly strive to exceed my customer’s expectations. I routinely send updates, pictures, and am available for questions or even a quick check-in! It’s important for my clients to trust that their pet is in a nurturing and loving environment. Although I am not affiliated with a rescue group, I have successfully rescued and found loving, forever homes for 38 stray dogs (various breeds) within the last 2.5 years. They say that dogs are a man’s best friend, but this country girl begs to differ! Caring for your fur baby is my full-time focus; I’m living my DREAMS!🐶 This allows me to be present with you and your pet throughout the duration of its stay. Pet safety is my #1 priority at all times. I am very intentional in introductions of fur babies, and heavily rely on each owner’s preferences. I am able to easily accommodate requests for lots or little interaction with others.

It was my first experience with Rover and Siyu is outstanding! She came to meet my cat and me on the day I booked and she showed carefulness and thoughtfulness from the beginning. My cat Biscuit, a cautious lady, likes Siyu. When I finally went home Biscuit went out and was like "Wow the human again? Oh it's Mom :)" She was well taken of and got lots of butt scratches and pets. Siyu followed my instructions so well. I will definitely book again!
