About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a teenager and have always loved having animals in my life. I’ve owned a tabby cat, English Bull Terrier and currently have a Yorkie mix. I raised chickens as a child and currently have a flock of bantams. I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ pets in my home while they’ve gone out of town. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I understand that pets are family and deserve patience, attention, and dependable care. I’m currently back in school studying nursing, which gives me a flexible schedule that works well with pet care. I’m looking forward to spending that time with some wonderful animals while providing the same attentive care I would want for my own. I am a student and have classes Tuesdays 9-2 and Thursdays 9-11. Outside of those times, I have a lot of flexibility! I can help with nights and weekends on a case-by-case basis. I believe animals need attention, mental stimulation and exercise every day. I’d be happy to walk or jog with your dog, play with them, give belly rubs or run through tricks that they know - whatever makes you and them happy!

Before our trip, she came over to our home to meet us so we could go over all the details, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Because of our busy schedules, our dogs usually only get walked late at night, but she managed to take them out for lovely walks both before and after her work shifts. Getting them outdoors seemed to have kept them happy, exercised, and well-cared for. Beyond feeding them and keeping everything clean, she also gave one of my cats daily medication and spent time keeping them company. I trust Rachel with my babies and highly recommend her.
This was our 2nd time booking Rachel and she continued to be an amazing choice! We were gone for longer this time – two weeks - and we didn’t have to worry at all. She came twice a day, took care of all the basics like food, water, and litter and gave them lots of love.
