Hi! My name is Emily, and I’m an optometry student looking to do some part time pet sitting through Rover. I’ve had pets my whole life, including cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, and even chickens, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my daily routine. I currently have a cat who I absolutely adore and love more than anything, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I have pet-sat numerous times and pride myself on being trustworthy, dependable, and attentive. I’m happy to adapt to the needs of any animal and will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, giving extra playtime and attention, or simply making sure they feel loved, I treat every pet as if they were my own. As a student, I’m responsible, organized, and reliable, and I would love the opportunity to help care for your pets!

Emily was so great with boots and very responsive! Boots came home super happy :)
Emily did a wonderful job boarding my dog for a long weekend. She was responsive, gave updates, and followed care instructions. My dog has a moderately high energy level and she was able to take him on two long walks a day to meet that. I'd happily book with Emily again in the future.
Emily came for drop in to feed the dog while we were on a family vacation. She was responsive to messages and was very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again for the next time we need someone to take care of Moro.

Schedule
I am currently a full time student at UH optometry so my availability is tied to my class schedule. My availability: Mondays & Fridays: Available before 9am or after 12 PM Tuesdays & Thursdays: Available before 9am after 5 PM Wednesdays: Available before 9am or after 7 PM Weekends: Fully available

Safety, trust & environment
I am happy to care for pets in any way needed, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or administering medications. I am comfortable providing care at my home or at the client’s home, and I am flexible to adapt to each pet’s routine and needs. For safety and trust, I always ensure the environment is secure, clean, and comfortable for the pets. The only exception is overnight stays at the client’s home.
