About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for several years and grew up with as many as 3 dogs in the home at one time!! Would love to meet some new furry friends! 🥰 Transitioning jobs and my schedule is opening up and I will be free a lot more!!! Shoot me a message if you have any questions! Will always make sure the fur babies get lots of love while they are in my care and my neighborhood being on the bayou I like to take advantage of walks (if it’s not too hot!).
“Dawn took such good care of my sweet Ellie while I was away on business for five days. She sent prompt updates with pictures and everything was perfect when I returned home. You won’t regret booking with Dawn for your cat’s care ?”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and a few exotic pets for quite some time! I used to volunteer at the animal shelter, and I take care of all my friends' pets when they go on vacation. I’ll watch TikTok videos with your dogs or play hide-and-seek if that’s more their speed. • 30 Minute Dog Walks include walks around your neighborhood or a nearby trail so your dog can get exercise, sniff around, and burn off some energy during the day. • 30 Minute Drop Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention to help your pet stay comfortable while you’re away. • My Basic House Sitting service includes overnight stays so your pet can stick to their normal routine at home. I also provide daytime care every 5 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and company. I’m trying to save some extra money and have a decent amount of free time in my schedule! I am free most weekdays! I just prefer a little heads-up! I’m super fun with dogs! You tell me what they like doing, and I’ll copy it! The thought of dogs sitting at home 8 hours a day while their friends are at work makes me sad, so I try to mimic what you would do to keep them happy. For cats, I know most of them love their alone time, so I won’t bother them or force them to play unless they approach me. ◡̈
“Kaylalea was thorough in her communication, my cats seemed happy with her company, and my home was in the same condition as i left it. would definitely book again!”

“Jennifer took great care of our cat while we were out of town. She was great at communicating and sent adorable pictures from each check in. She also was super flexible and able to fit us in for the holidays when our other sitters had fallen through. She’s won our business and we’d be happy to have her watch our kitty again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and truly love spending time with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I had a French Bulldog for many years, and because my parents traveled frequently, I was his primary caregiver—handling his daily routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and giving him all the love and attention he deserved until he sadly passed away last year. I’ve also cared for two Great Danes, so I’m comfortable with both small and giant breeds. Through these experiences, I’ve become confident handling dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. Today, I regularly volunteer at Friends For Life, a no-kill animal shelter, where I work closely with many of the dogs that need extra patience and care. I help feed, walk, play with, and administer medications to dogs, including many who have experienced neglect, abuse, medical issues, or behavioral challenges. Working with these special dogs has taught me how to build trust, stay patient, and make each dog feel safe and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to know your furry family member is in caring, reliable hands. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently nanny just for 1.5 hours a week so I have a pretty open schedule! I have a car so I’m able to do transportation as well if needed! I’m also open to last minute requests! I have a very open backyard that’s completely fenced, it has trees and a pool. No animals in my house anymore so it’s open for any animal!
“What a great team Vanessa and Gilberto are. Both of our cats are so much better adjusted to our absence than they were before we asked Vanessa and Gilberto to take care of them. It’s like we never left. They also take professional quality pictures of our cats.”

“Miranda and her partner are easy to work with and very reliable. They tracked down an Amazon delivery that arrived while I was away and sent daily reports and photos of my cat's emptied food bowls, since my shy cat doesn't appear during their visits. Traveling is less stressful knowing they are keeping an eye on my pet and my home while I'm gone.”

“We had a great experience with Cheyenne! She was extremely responsive, very professional, and sent the cutest, highest-quality photos of my dogs during each visit. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend her for drop-in visits!”

About: I have been around animals for most of my life and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, bathe, and keep their pets company while they’re away. I understand that every pet has their own routine and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and happy. I’m an active person who genuinely enjoys long walks, outdoor time, and interactive play, but I’m just as happy keeping a senior dog company or giving an anxious pet the patience and space they need. My goal is always to make your pet feel comfortable while giving you peace of mind. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide pets with plenty of attention instead of just stopping in for the basics. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to accommodate their routine as much as possible. I know consistency is important for animals, and I’ll do my best to keep their day feeling as normal as it does when you’re home. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding schedules, exercise, crate training, or household rules. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can recognize when they need play, rest, water, or a little extra reassurance. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout my visits. You can relax knowing your pet is being cared for with patience, kindness, and the same level of attention I’d give my own.
“Mae did a great job taking care of Gala! She always texted us and let us know how she was, sending us pictures and giving her her meds. Would not think twice about hiring Mae next time we need someone to take care of Gala!”

“Ashley was quick to respond to my initial inquiry, came by for an intro to my senior dog before the first drop in and on the day of the drop in, was timely, communicated well and took great care of my sweet girl. I’ll be using her again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Piney Point Village
Shiela did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were away. Our two cats have been experiencing some tension for the past several months- Shiela did a great job giving them their anxiety supplement during every visit. She also groomed them, played with them and gave them treats. Prior to the cat visits, she also suggested purchasing Feliway spray for our cats, which our cats seemed to like, and she sprayed it during visits as well. Thank you Shiela! 🐱

Courtney takes excellent care of our kitties — play time, treats, and freshens and reports on water, food, and litter box. She sends detailed updates and tons of pictures! Courtney takes the stress out of leaving our girls when we have to go away for a few, and I’m so appreciative. Highly recommend.

Claire is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog and cat, paying close attention to their routines and needs. We especially appreciated her incredible communication, responsibility, and how safe she made our pets feel. We couldn't recommend her more!

Highly recommend! She took amazing care of our babies and went completely above and beyond. We had an unexpected issue with our AC during her visits, and she was incredibly helpful, flexible, and communicative throughout the whole process. She sent the sweetest updates and photos, and it’s clear our pets loved her. We would absolutely book her again! Thank you so much! ♥️

Repeat client of Michael’s here. My super shy cat, who generally only trusts myself and my husband, actually came out from under the bed to receive pets from Michael. I was shocked in the best way! Based on this and several positive experiences with Michael in the past, I highly redommend! Thank you so much, Michael!

I highly recommend Lisa, she took exceptional care of my cat Poco while I was away and treated him like family, not just another pet sitting job. From the beginning, communication was excellent — I received regular updates, and photos that gave me tremendous peace of mind during my trip. My cat can be shy and particular about routines, and normally hides for about hour after I return home. this time he was calm and relaxed when I returned home. He was sitting waiting for me in the living room. The litter box, food area, and water bowls were spotless, and it was obvious he had received genuine attention and affection, not just quick drop-in visits. I am not sure if he came out during the visits but I can tell by his reaction when I got home he was comfortable. What really stood out was the level of care and professionalism. She noticed small details about his behavior, kept everything consistent, and clearly understand cats very well. It is rare to find someone who is both dependable and truly compassionate with animals. I would absolutely trust Lisa again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive cat sitter.
5 stars are not enough to rate how well Abigail did . My two needy kitty cats were so well cared for while I was away . Abigail went above and beyond to make sure that all their needs were met. My house was tidy and she even washed rugs and chair covers that my cats had accidents on . It was exceptional service and worth every single penny. I will always see if she’s available next time I need a pet sitter . Thank you Abigail for all you did . You’re great !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
