Courtney watched Beau today while I moved. Moving is stressful but I never had to worry about my pup, who I knew was well taken care of and safe. She was even able to watch him a bit longer as I went beyond schedule. Total lifesaver. Thank you!!

About: I started pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. Which led me working at a pet lodge when there were shifts to pick up. There I could handle anywhere from 5 to 15+ dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also have experience with reptiles, birds, and rabbits Currently, I am not working so I have open availability. When I start school in the fall, I will be doing it online so my schedule will not have to change with any clients that I might have. I I always make sure my cats’ area is clean and stocked; meaning their litter box, food bowls are filled, and toys put away when they aren’t playful. Not as often as Id like, but we do enrichment games together. I’m still trying to find more games that will help. When I had a dog, I would put them in the crate if I was leaving or going to bed when we were still training them, but after a while I kept them out. I like to maintain a regular routine so that they are not stressed.

About: I love animals and have taken care of many throughout my years. I have taken care of many animals that required medicine throughout the day. I have worked with senior dogs as well as button trained my dogs. My schedule is flexible. I am home most of the day other than pick up/ drop off at school at 8/3. I can have someone get the kids if there is a schedule conflict. I have a great trail for walking dogs on the bayou outback. I have a friendly golden doodle (Olivia) and salt water fish to keep your pet company.

About: I have pet sat and dog walked for friends and family since I can remember - all sizes and ages of pets. I come from an incredibly caring family of animal lovers and we've all adopted and rescued at some point in our lives and shared our experiences of individual pet behaviors. I understand that unwalked or lonely pets can be difficult to raise with excess energy that has no outlet, so if I can help by breaking up their day a little, I'd love to help you out. I can drop in to keep them company, feed and play with them. I can take them for walks locally and treat them when we get home. I only take a few bookings a day so I can be more attentive to those pets, so they feel valued, rested and happy and not rushed in and out. About me: I'm an outgoing finance professional with more time on my hands recently and looking for more life balance and fresh air! I fit walks into my day around other commitments to help break up the day. Its good to get away from the desk for some air. It depends on the client. With high value dogs clients prefer that I stay on their property, so I've ensured that we have their favorite toy available to play fetch for 30 mins! For others, I ensure I have a safe walking route from the home and we take our water and poop bags and we walk fast or slow depending on the age and ability of the dog.

Mae is one of the very best dog sitters I have come across on Rover. She genuinely loves what she does and Maximus can be a handful at times when he isn't comfortable with other dogs.....he bonded with her immediately and she took plenty of pictures and I could see how happy he was. Maximus had a stroke recently and is not 100%. She was very attentive and saved my behind for work I had to get done on my visit to Houston. Highly recommend!

Priyanka has been watching my dog consistently 4 days a week while I am at work. I’ve never seen my dog so excited to leave the house before and yet, when I say, “do you want to go to Miss Priyanka’s house?” She goes crazy pawing at the door ready to leave! I plan to keep dropping my baby off with Priyanka every week for the foreseeable future.

About: At this time, I am currently only accepting SMALL BREEDS for boarding. Hi, I’m Amy! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. I share my home with my sweet (and spoiled!) 6-year old trained Rottweiler, Zara, who has taught me so much about understanding dog body language, and making pets feel safe, happy, and loved. What sets me apart is not only my genuine love for animals, but also my background in healthcare. Working in this field has made me reliable, detail oriented, patient, and attentive qualities that naturally carry over into pet care. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, administering medications, noticing small behavior changes, or giving extra comfort and reassurance, I care for every pet like they’re my own. One thing I prioritize most is making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. We typically go on 3–5 walks a day, and I always make sure your dog gets their dose of sunshine, fresh air, sniffing time, and grass time. I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated, not just cooped up indoors.🙂 Depending on the dog and owner preferences, we sometimes go on fun little outings too ⭐️ Starbucks 💚 pup cup runs, PetSmart trips, or even walks through Lowe’s when the weather is nice and the environment is pet-friendly. I truly enjoy making dogs feel included, engaged, and cared for. 🙂💖 When the weather doesn’t permit extended outdoor time, we switch to indoor enrichment and cozy downtime. We’ll spend time indoors playing fetch, relaxing, and watching movies together until the weather clears up, while still going outside for shorter potty walks and fresh air breaks as needed. I also prioritize structure and safety in my home environment. Zara has her own separate section of the house, and all dogs are kept on a consistent schedule for walks, potty breaks, meals, rest, and individual outside time. I do not introduce untrained dogs to Zara. If your dog is well-trained, calm, and socialized, playtime with Zara may be considered upon request and approval to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone. 😊 Experience: • At this time, I am currently only accepting SMALL BREEDS for boarding. • Patient and gentle with senior pets, including slow walks, medications, and extra TLC. • Comfortable caring for special needs pets with unique diets, routines, or extra support needs. • Experienced in reading dog body language and adjusting care to each pet’s comfort level and personality. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, exercised, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I recently graduated and am currently finishing my last 3 online prerequisites before applying to the RN program. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be home throughout the day with the pets in my care. I typically wake up around 5:30–6:00 AM to study, then start the day by getting the dogs on schedule for breakfast, potty breaks, walks, and outdoor time. I enjoy keeping dogs active, comfortable, and on a consistent routine throughout the day. Safety, Trust & Environment I take pet safety very seriously, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting yours. At home, I make sure the environment is secure, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space for play and rest. I supervise all interactions and make sure pets are never left unattended in unsafe areas. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines closely—from feeding and walks to playtime and bathroom breaks. I treat your home with the same respect I would my own, ensuring everything stays safe, clean, and organized. Because I work from home, I can provide attentive care throughout the day, and my healthcare experience helps me notice small changes in behavior or health. You can trust that your pet will be happy, safe, and loved under my care. 🐶💛

Claudia is great with my 55lb German Shorthaired Pointer and my 5lb 10-week old Bugg. She keeps my puppy away from the other dogs she watches which is very important to me because she is so young. I love the pictures she sends throughout the day. Both of my pups leave happy. Claudia is very reliable and flexible. My pups have been visiting her 1-5 days per week for 4 months. I highly recommend her to watch your babies!

About: I’ve personally cared for my puppy since he was just a baby, and I trained him myself using positive reinforcement techniques. This has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, routines, and the importance of consistency and patience. On Rover, I know pet parents are trusting me with a member of their family—and I take that seriously. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. Whether your pup needs playtime, structured walks, or just a calm companion, I adapt to their needs and follow your care instructions closely. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which means I’m able to give dogs the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. I’m always nearby for potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, and anything else your pup might need. As a proud dog mom who raised and trained my own pup from 4 months old, I understand how much patience and care young dogs require. Whether your dog is full of energy, still learning, or just needs a little extra love, I’m here to support them like family. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family in a safe, loving, and secure environment. I live in a quiet space that’s perfect for anxious pups who need a calm and peaceful setting to feel at ease. I provide a clean, cozy area for your dog to relax and play, and I’m happy to share photos of the space ahead of time so you can feel confident about where your pup will be staying. For safety, I do not allow any strangers into my home during boarding or daycare. Since I work from home, your dog will always have supervision, consistent care, and plenty of love throughout the day.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Piney Point Village on Rover is $31.59 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,455 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Piney Point Village. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Piney Point Village commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,455 sitters in Piney Point Village, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
