Zazio came home happy, relaxed, and very clearly well cared for. I loved getting the pictures and videos throughout the day — it really helped put my mind at ease, especially since this was his first time staying with someone else. He looked like he had a great time and was very comfortable. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him. We will definitely be back!

About: I have been a dog lover, owner, foster and sitter for several years. Dogs are such sweet and innocent animals, their individual personalities are so cute and can be so funny. They are so smart, I just enjoy them and being around them. I work from home and take care of my own dogs, I have three. I have a large fully fenced backyard and am a recent empty nester. So time, I have! Haha I work from home, dogs are allowed on furniture and roam while working. Potty breaks are every two hours, and play time is pretty much all day! Bedtime is kennel time till the morning. Feeding will be based on individual needs.

I am super thankful for Christy! We needed a place for our pup to go last minute and I was able to schedule doggy daycare for him last minute with Christy! She had other dogs for mine to play with which was great because my pup loves to play! She sent pictures and updated me shortly after he was dropped off to let me know he had gotten settled! We picked him up a few hours later and he was happy and very tired! I would definitely recommend!

About: Growing up with dogs, I learned early on that they are family. Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of breeds, including Golden Labs, German Shepherds, Dalmatians, Shih Tzus, Maltese, and my late sweet Zuki, a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. I raised Zuki from the time he was just two months old until his passing in January 2026 at 12 years old. Zuki taught me the true meaning of love, patience, and cherishing every moment. Each stage of his life showed me how to adapt my care to his changing needs. Through him, I learned that there is truly no love like a dog’s love. With my hybrid job, I spend most of my time at home caring for adorable pups. I’ve grown to appreciate each dog’s unique personality. I don’t have children, but the love, attention, and care I give to every dog is just as devoted. When you return home, you can trust that your dog will be well-fed, well-exercised, and showered with love. I live in a beautiful community with a walking trail that surrounds a lake, filled with colorful flowers and peaceful scenery. Staying active is part of my daily routine, so I take the pups on mid-morning walks to soak up the sunshine or mid-afternoon strolls to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Now that Zuki is in heaven, my heart is full of love to share with every pup I care for. I keep a small pack because I carefully match dogs based on their personalities. My home is very clean (with dog toys happily scattered about!), and providing a safe, comfortable environment is always my top priority. I guarantee your dog will have the best stay ever. On weekdays, I currently work a hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend a lot of time at home. On Mondays and Fridays, I go into the office for a bit in the mornings, but I work from home or visit clients in the afternoons. Rest assured, your pup will NEVER feel alone. On weekends, we enjoy a lot of downtime at home, taking long walks around the complex and soaking in beautiful sunsets with the crew (all the pups). I care for dogs in a comfortable two-story home with a yard, where they can walk around and play freely, feeling as if they’re right at home. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether it’s crate training, playing with favorite toys, or sticking to a feeding schedule. I’m also very mindful of each dog’s energy and behavior, creating a calm and positive environment for everyone. For the safety and happiness of all the pups, I don’t accept dogs with aggressive behavior, signs of active fleas, or any infections, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable experience for you, your dog and the rest of the crew.

About: I grew up having cats and dogs 😊. I’ve had several cats in the past and we now have a Pekingese that we’ve had for 16 years. So I have experience and patience taking care of your senior pet. My husband and I love our little pup 🐶 🥰, we enjoy taking him out for walks and car rides. I’m a full time stay at home wife and doggy mom, so I’m available any day of the week to care, play and cuddle with your pet 😍. I have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for your pet to run around or just relax. I live in a culdesac street so I can take your pup for a short walk or for a run at the park.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like family while they’re in my care. I am home full-time and available throughout the day for pet care. Dogs in my home receive regular supervision, outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of attention. I’m able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and make sure they stay comfortable, active, and well cared for during their stay. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time and play. I am home most of the day, which allows me to provide regular supervision, bathroom breaks, feedings, walks, and plenty of attention. I keep my boarding environment calm and structured so each dog feels comfortable and well cared for. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your routines and provide the same level of care, love, and attention that you give them

Cheryn was great with my dog, Watson. She was so calm and understanding, and it seems like she has a lot of experience and has a genuine love for animals. Watson warmed up to her instantly (which is pretty RARE). My dog's a very high energy, 11 month old, that is still learning to socialize, and Cheryn knew exactly what to do and handled everything. Highly recommend!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Jersey Village

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Jersey Village on Rover is $32.1 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 2,392 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Jersey Village. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Jersey Village commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,392 sitters in Jersey Village, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
